Siblings & Chocolate

Elijah

" E lijah!"

My eyes snap open as the image of a woman in fishnets riding me disappears and I find myself in bed. I frown, my heart thundering as I sit up, my cock throbbing as I scan my room. It takes me a moment to realise that it was just a dream.

I dreamt of fucking her. Again .

"Elijah! Get up! We're leaving soon!" Dad's voice comes again as he hammers on the door.

"Yeah, I'm up," I reply coldly as I kick off the sheets and get out of bed, my dick throbbing as I remember my dream. Fuck.

Walking towards the bathroom, I yank on the door handle, only for it not to budge.

My eyes glimmer in irritation. "We don't have all day, Red," I growl.

"I know, but if you snooze, you lose. Now wait your damn turn."

I can hear the shower running faintly and clench my jaw, remembering her flirting with Braxton or whatever the idiot's name was. Not that I should have an issue with her flirting, but I do.

I turn around, grab a few of my things and shove them into my duffel bag. I had already packed most of what I thought I'd need last night. But even as I try to keep busy, the thought of her is fucking with my head.

I should find someone to fuck the thought of her out of my system, but that went seriously wrong with Fiona… Maybe I should try someone who isn't from this pack. I don't want people to think I can't fucking get off or something. Rumours are the last thing I need right now.

The shower is still running, so I grab my phone and send Rafael a quick message. I'm hoping he might know something about Scarlett's dad's pack.

The moment I hear the bathroom lock turn, I stride over and yank the door open, my eyes flashing as she jumps, freezing mid-reaching for something.

My eyes skim over her. She's got a towel wrapped around her that she's clutching at the front, revealing a bit of cleavage as water trickles from her hair and down her shoulders and in between her breasts.

She cocks a brow, glancing at the front of my pants before she smirks and grabs her toothbrush and toothpaste before turning and leaving through the door. She glances back at me for a second before she closes her door and I hear the lock slide from the other side, leaving me with nothing but her scent.

An entire weekend with her is not going to be easy. Just great.

"Sandwiches are in the bag, so are the drinks. Alright, I think that's everything!" Jessica says as she rubs her hands on her jeans as she looks at Dad a little too excited.

Dad's equally excited and I'm beginning to dread this road trip if they are going to remain this enthusiastic. He's wearing sweatpants and a lime green T-shirt, which is a tad too fucking bright.

"Excellent! Alright kids, get in." He motions us towards his car, and I cock a brow.

"Wait, we're travelling together? In a five-seater?" Sure, it's spacy, but still stuck in the back for a few hours isn't something I am interested in.

"Yes, we are five." Dad grins.

Jessica laughs as Indigo clambers into the car. "I call dibs on a window seat!"

I'm not sure I'm keen on where this is going. Not if it means I'm going to press up against the same woman I'm having dirty dreams about, dreams I shouldn't be having.

"I am not sitting beside her," I hear Scarlett say quietly to Jessica.

"Oh, I'm not sitting beside you either! Keep your fat-" Indigo shouts back.

"Indigo," Jessica warns, silencing her instantly.

I turn to see she's wearing a black mini dress that sticks to her body like a glove, tights, and boots that reach her knees, looking fucking fine. But she also looks unimpressed as she looks at the car.

"Well, I'm not sitting in the middle," I say, bending down to peer into the car.

"Nor am I," Scarlett's icy voice comes.

Yeah, she's still pissed about last night. She had given me the cold shoulder through dinner and the moment we got home she stormed off to her room.

"Elijah will sit in the middle," Dad says firmly.

"What? No, I'm not. I'll take my own car," I answer with a frown.

"You will not." Dad's decision is final.

"I am the biggest one here. Why do I have to sit in the middle?" I growl as Scarlett smirks, sauntering over to the car.

"Don't think you have a choice. So, in you get," she remarks tauntingly.

"Pixie…" I say, bending down slightly to peer into the car at my stubborn little sister.

"Elijah, you know I can't stand sitting next to her for that long! Please don't ask me!"

Her large doe eyes make me feel guilty and I sigh, tossing my bag in the trunk before I get in the car. Indigo smiles apologetically at me as she scoots over for me.

"Well, let's be on our way. Alright, Nick, I leave everything in your care!" Dad shouts to his Beta.

"Yes, Alpha!" Aaron's dad nods from where he stands by the wall before he waves and walks off.

Scarlett gets in and I move over closer to Indigo, trying not to look at her sexy thighs. I shouldn't be checking her out like this. Why am I so fucking infatuated with her?

Yeah, she's smoking hot, but I should be able to ignore that. I hate how she has captured my attention, in one way or the other. She has done so right from the start.

EIGHT YEARS AGO

"Jackson, listen to me!" Grandma Amelia growls as she stands in the lounge as Dad prowls the room in agitation. I can see them clearly from here, up in the tree, which gives me a pretty neat view of what's going on down below.

"I understand, but they may bring war to us," Dad whispers as if someone might hear them. Well maybe I know someone's waiting for Dad's verdict a little ways from here and I'm tempted to go see.

Apparently, someone is seeking refuge in our pack, and that's not common. The fact that they are on the run too… they really could bring danger to us, but Grandma Amelia said it was a woman with two children.

"War or not we do not turn our backs on those who need help," Grandma Amelia's cutting voice comes.

"Have I ever? Even when I should have, I have not done so," Dad mutters. I wonder what he means by that, but I'm not interested and instead I jump down from the tree, wanting to see these trespassers who need help.

I find them a short while later, covered in dirt, bruises and blood.

I stay in the shadow of the tree observing them intently. There's six guards watching them, a bit excessive to deal with a woman and two children. The girls are not that different in height, one might be about five or six, she has dark hair like the woman.

The other girl is slightly taller. Maybe she's around eight, her pale hair matted. From all three of them, she looks to be in the best condition, but it is the look in her eyes that makes me stop and observe her.

No matter what they had gone through, there is a fire in her eyes. One that tells me she is still ready to fight if she has to.

It's obvious they've travelled far and they are all malnourished. I frown as I look towards our home. What is Dad hesitating about? He is an alpha, and an alpha protects all those who are weaker than him. He has to give them a home.

Hearing footsteps, I stick to the shadows of the tree I'm standing behind, watching as Dad approaches the woman who tries to move her daughters behind her. But the older one doesn't move, her eyes fixed on Dad with that fierceness that impresses me.

I smirk slightly. She's a defiant one. She'll become a great fighter one day. We could definitely use that in this pack.

I blink, coming out of my thoughts as the car begins moving. Someone's put some weird country music on and the oddly warm ambience in the car makes me feel strange yet relaxed.

We are a family with complex dynamics, but it is still my family.

Maybe this trip won't be so bad?

"Are you not going to share those, Pixie?" I ask, looking down at the packet of Maltesers she's eating.

"They're mine," she says a little too quickly, moving the packet away.

I smirk. "It says ‘Share Bag', now share." I wrap my arm around her shoulders as she tries to hide the bag, but we're in a car and there's nowhere for her to run to.

"Elijah! You eat too much!" she complains.

"And you raid my room, and take my stuff. Was this chocolate mine?" I ask, seeing her sheepish expression. Ah, so it was. I nod knowingly.

"Well…" she grumbles, holding the packet out.

"Hmm, so you're sharing," I state, pouring a handful into my hand and popping a few into my mouth. Tilting my head, I look over at Scarlett, who's crossed her legs, sitting slightly angled towards the window, and has her head resting on her hand with a book in her hand.

"Want some, Red?" I ask, trying not to check out her thighs.

She looks up, her heart skipping a beat as our eyes meet. Her soft green ones are gorgeous.

"No thanks," she says, sounding calmer than she has since the arcade before she returns to her book.

"You've gotten soft," Indigo objects as she snatches the bag back before she leans around me and holds out a Galaxy bar to Scarlett. "I took this for you."

I cock a brow as Dad turns and smiles at Indigo. As much as it's nice to see her do something kind for her sister, she stole that from my room too… Little thief.

"Thanks," Scarlett says, taking the bar hesitantly.

Indigo sits back. "If you try to take them again, I'll spit in the bag," she warns me.

I snicker. "You know we're going on a trip where I will find plenty of opportunities to exact revenge, Pixie." I tickle her and she smacks my arm.

"Game on, but I thought we were a team. Oh, and you ain't getting any more of these," she says, stuffing her mouth with a few more Maltesers. I ruffle her hair, putting her in a headlock only for her to shove me again. This time I knock into Scarlett, who raises her book out of the way as if to protect it, glaring at us.

"Can you two behave?" she growls.

"Nope," I reply with a smirk, making her eyes flash silver. "Sorry, Red. I can practically see you steaming at the ears," I tease as she shoves me off her.

"Behave, the both of you. Honestly." She frowns.

"Someone's got their knickers in a twist," Indigo remarks.

Or thong.

I smirk as I look at the redhead. Teasing her has always been fun. I stretch my arms across the back of the seats as she moves her book again. I tilt my head. Why does it feel as if she's almost hiding it from me?

Weird.

I lean over, trying to catch a glimpse at what she is reading.

‘… moaning, she parts her thick thighs as he buries his tongue into her soaking-'

She snaps the book shut and my smirk grows as I realise exactly what she's reading and when her eyes meet mine, she knows that I know.

Oh, someone is a bad girl…
