CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO

TORI

THE FIGHT

“ Y ou disrespected me. I’ll let it go because you’re drunk. Now I’ll ask again. How do you know my man?” I bit out.

“Ouch,” she shrieked. “I met him earlier tonight.”

A big arm hooked around my body from behind. Ritchie’s large hand circled my tummy, driving me insane.

“You are the most beautiful Pitbull I’ve ever seen,” he growled in my ear.

I felt his hard cock against my spine.

“The women sat with us earlier. Briefly. They didn’t know we had girlfriends. We quickly sent them on their way. It appears they’ve had too much to drink. They’re harmless. Let her go, baby.”

Asia and Simone circled the other ladies like sharks.

“So you didn’t know I existed, correct?” I asked, squeezing harder as I brought her to her fucking knees.

“Let me go, you psycho bitch,” she cried.

I felt onlookers watching me. Ritchie didn’t move from his position. He was so turned on right now. If he stepped back, everyone would see his huge boner.

Ezra gestured to those crowding around us to step back.

“You called my woman a psycho bitch. That’s not very nice.” Ritchie’s lips brushed the side of my neck.

“You should answer her question,” Ritchie replied, for my ears only.

It was like he wanted me to torture her right here in front of everyone. I was so wet for him right now.

Focus Tori.

“You’re taking too long to answer my question.” I slammed my stiletto into her stomach.

“Ah,” she yelped.

“Stop! You’re hurting her,” one of her friends shouted.

A groan followed. I glanced out of the corner of my eye. The brunette cupped her nose. Blood trailed over her lip.

“Next, I’ll sock you in the eye,” Asia warned.

My grip on her hair tightened as I pressed the heel of my stiletto into her skin.

“I knew. I knew about you,” she snarled through gritted teeth.

“What’s the big deal? It was just harmless flirting,” the other blonde retorted.

“You girls are so full of yourselves. You’re not even that attractive,” one of them scoffed.

Asia and Simone didn’t waste any time getting down and dirty.

I refocused on the woman in front of me and threw her to the ground. “You thought it was okay to disrespect me. My man told you he had a woman, but you didn’t care because you didn’t see me around,” I yelled.

My fist connected with her eye. “No one messes with my man. We’ll make an example out of all you bitches,” I spat, as I continued to pummel her face.

She swung back at me, but each punch missed its target. She tried to fight back, but she was no match for me. Who wants to fight someone who can’t put up a decent fight? Definitely not me.

“All right, that’s enough, Tori.” Ritchie’s arms circled my waist, lifting me off my feet.

Brock appeared with four female bouncers. The women hauled blondie and her friends to their feet. Ritchie turned to the dance floor.

“Rémy order drinks for our group,” Ritchie stated.

His lips brushed against my hair. “I’m going to place you on your feet. Don’t think about going after the blonde and her friends. They were taken care of.”

He didn’t mean they were taking a long walk? I’d ask him about it later. After placing me on my feet, he gingerly tugged my elbow until I was staring up into his gray eyes.

“Baby, there was no need to get into it with her. She was flirting, that’s all.”

A chuckle rumbled in my chest. “Oh, and if a man touches me, what would you do?”

His jaw ticked.

“Ritchie,” Rémy said as he approached.

“One whiskey for you and a Cosmo and water for the champion,” he said with a thick Jersey accent.

Rémy and Ritchie chuckled.

I removed the drinks from his hand. “Don’t be so quick to go nuclear when guys touch us. If the girls and I will only be made fun of when we’re territorial over what’s ours.”

Ritchie gulped his whiskey. “You’re right. I apologize, baby.”

Asia fell at my side arms crossing her chest peering up at Rémy. “I’m with my bestie.”

“Fine, the guys and I won’t dismiss your feelings anymore.” He tugged her toward him, then devoured her lips.

That was hot. I fanned myself absent-mindedly.

I peeked to the right. Ezra’s hands gripped Simone’s ass as he whispered something in her ear. There was a mischievous grin on his face while he spoke to her. I loved them together.

It hit me like a ton of bricks. Me and my girls were happy at the same time. We fell in love with incredible, brooding, possessive men who would kill anyone who disrespected us.

“Drink the water first, Tori,” Ritchie ordered.

Still pondering on thoughts, I did as I was told.

“Come up to V.I.P. with me,” Ritchie urged.

“Ritchie, I can’t leave the girls.”

He rubbed at his temple. “Right, this is Bianca’s special night.”

I could tell he was fighting back the pain.

My brows lifted. “You over did it,” I muttered.

“I just need to get my second wind back. Nothing’s going to stop me from fucking you long and hard later.”

“Asia, Simone,” I hollered. “Tell Bianca, I went upstairs for a little while.”

“Ok,” they said in unison.

I placed my empty water bottle on a nearby table and grabbed Ritchie’s drink out of his hand. “Let’s go.”

Not sure how I forgot the day from hell Ritchie, and I had earlier. As much as I wanted to party with my best friends’ I had to keep my man from passing out.

Brock cleared a path allowing Ritchie and I to climb the stairs effortlessly. My gorgeous boyfriend was barely hanging on. He held it together long enough to sink onto the sofa.

I dipped a napkin into the ice-cold water swimming in the ice bucket. Kicking off my heels, I pulled my feet under my bottom and dabbed at the beads of sweat forming on Ritchie’s head. This wasn’t good. My man seemed to suffer the most for me. First it was Daryl and his men who shot him and damn near killed him. He was injured again while rescuing me from Rosco. I felt tears prickling the backs of my eyes. My ex-best friend almost killed Ritchie and I this morning. He was thrown from an exploding house. He wasn’t ok. Nor was I. I’d just hid my pain better than Ritchie. Of course, my pain wasn’t as severe as Ritchie’s.

His big hand caressed my waist.

“Hey, it’s going to be ok,” he muttered.

“Is it, Ritchie?” I huffed.

“Someone tried to kill me this morning.” My eyes squeezed shut as I gently rested my head against his. “I almost lost you this morning.”

“We’ll get through this, Tori.”

How could Ritchie be so sure?
