Epilogue

Life had become so much better since I fully accepted my love for William. Now I was about to say yes to him again and I couldn't be happier.

I smiled brightly as I stared into William's eyes. It had been two years since he asked me to marry him officially and today we were renewing our vows. It had been his idea. He said he wanted to make promises to me and mean them this time.

I completely agreed. When I read my vows today, they came from a place of love. True, deep love that had not wavered a bit in the years since I'd discovered it.

"I vow to love you always," I said, bringing my vows to an end.

William pulled me in for a kiss and the crowd cheered. We pulled away and I looked around. Everyone I loved was here. It was a small intimate ceremony with only the people closest to us. Bernard sat in front with a proud smile on his face. Ryan sat beside him and he was also smiling.

It had taken a while but he'd finally realized that what William and I shared was real. He and William were still working to rebuild their friendship. I was certain that one day they would be as close as they used to be.

Kiara and Lisa were the last ones in attendance. They both sported matching bright smiles.

There was someone else though. My adorable daughter sat in Kiara's lap. She stretched out her arms and I couldn't resist. I reached forward and picked her up.

"Hi, my love," I said as I stared into her gorgeous eyes. Life had become even more incredible since I'd given birth. William and I were in love with our baby girl and she was an absolute bundle of joy.

We'd decided to name her Cassie after my mother. Cassandra Aldaine was the most precious thing I had in my life. She and her father were the people I loved the most. I knew my parents would have loved to meet her.

My heart broke whenever I thought about how my daughter would never know my mother. She would never feel her love the way I did. Thankfully, Kiara was here and she had so much love to give.

I smiled at my mother-in-law and she smiled back. I shifted my gaze to Ryan and Bernard before looking at William again. This little family of mine was perfect.

William kissed my forehead. He bent and kissed Cassie's cheeks. She giggled and bounced in my arms. It was beautiful to watch the man William had become since he became a father. He loved his daughter and Cassie loved him too.

"She has your eyes," William said as he stared at our daughter. He'd been saying that since the moment she was born. Cassie laughed like she understood what her father had said. He tickled her stomach and she laughed even more.

I felt tears welling up in my eyes. I was so in love with this man and he loved me too. We had a beautiful daughter and he was the perfect father.

What more could I ask for?

I was happier than I'd ever been in my life. I would always be happy as long as I had William.
