I raise my hands in surrender. “Deal. You have permission to kick my ass if I screw things up with her.”

“Cool. Is that it?”

“Yep, get out of here. I’ll see you tomorrow.” I’m already retrieving my phone to let Paige know about Gage’s response.

One more thing taken off her plate.

I know she’s been debating when and how to approach her brothers about the topic of dating, but with Gage’s tentative approval, she can stop worrying about one brother at least.
