Epilogue
Julian
T he Dominguez estate is quiet, like there isn't a farewell gathering happening inside the house. It's crazy how different the house will be now, knowing my sister will no longer be here. She had always been my foundation, the rock to keep me human at least until Sierra. My little bruja cast her spells on me, that it took fighting her for me to realize that I can't live without her. I glance to my right, admiring her profile as she fidgets with her hair tie on her wrists. She must sense me staring, because she looks up at me with those piercing blue eyes that trapped me in her siren call. Her lips lift in a smile, one that has caused my heart to skip a beat more times than I can count.
"Ready, wife?" I say, opening the door to the house while grabbing her hand with the other.
"We aren't even married yet," She argues with a smile on her face, like she doesn't know that this is the start of our lives together.
"You wear my tattoo on your finger, cari?o. That means we are married." I look down at her lovingly, wishing we were back at her place so I can ravish her the way she's meant to be. Especially since I know that she's completely bare underneath that thin little white summer dress she decided to wear.
She rolls her eyes as she walks further into the house by where Catalina currently speaks with Mika. Looking around the room I notice Marcelo staring at Mika as if he wants to kill her or fuck her? I walk over to him and pat his shoulder, gripping him tight enough to break this staring contest he is currently having with her sister's other best friend.
"What's going on, hermano?" I ask him, waiting for his response as he takes a long breath in.
"Family, I have an announcement to make," he says loudly, his eyes remain on the curly haired woman across the room.
"I'm getting married," he says, turning towards me. "Julian will be taking over while I go on my honeymoon."
I stare at him completely baffled. He's not even seeing anyone so what the fuck is happening. What the fuck is he thinking?
"What the fuck are you talking about?" I question as everyone stares at him completely in shock at the news.
"You'll be fine without me. Mika and I will be getting married next week." His eyes return to the hazel eyes of the woman standing by Catalina. Her eyes grow wide like she had no idea what was happening. Catalina and Sierra stare at her with smiles on their faces as they shriek some weird wails of joy.
"Hermano, what is going on?" I question him, whispering as silently as I can so that he is the only one to hear me.
"Don't worry about it," he whispers as he walks straight up to the girl currently hiding her face beneath her palms. He pulls her hands apart, grabbing her face with both hands and plants a kiss on her lips like he'd done it time and time again.
Everyone cheers, and I decide that I should share our own happy announcement as well, since I will now be the acting head of the cartel.
"Since you announced your happy union to be. I'm going to announce that I'm married." I walk over to where Sierra is currently standing by my sister and Mika. I place a gentle kiss on her forehead and then her lips.
"We aren't married," she retorts, smacking me on the chest while letting a giggle escape from those delicate lips.
Leaning down towards her ear, I whisper, "But we are, or do you need a reminder?" Her face turns a light shade of pink that spreads down her neck to her chest. She's fucking beautiful.
"Are you ready to rule the cartel with me, even for just a small fraction of the time?" She'll be treated like the queen I know she is. She'll have everything her heart has ever desired. She fell in love with a demon, with a man who couldn't feel anything until the moment she walked into my life.
She's my crazy, my mayhem, my reason.
My forever.
