Epilogue
Grace
Two Years Later
Iwoke up early, but it wasn't because I'd had another nightmare. Nope, two years after Trent attacked me in Mabel's house and I hadn't had a dream in four straight months. It was a relief really, but quickly that relief turned into something else.
Arousal.
A sensation built low in my belly and I opened my eyes with a smile. And a moan. "Good morning to you too, big guy." I pushed up on my elbows and looked at my big, strong blue-eyed man, who was smiling as he knelt between my legs and stroked my pussy with the tip of his cock. "Very good morning." I tilted my hips up towards his straining erection and I dug my heels into the hard muscles of his ass.
"Oh fuck," he groaned as he sank into my damp heat. "So fucking wet. So fucking good, babe." He buried his face in the crook of my neck and slowly fucked me. He was so big and engorged, so hard as he plunged in long, deep, steady strokes that drove me crazy.
"Maverick," I moaned, and met him stroke for stroke. Early mornings with him were my favorite time, and not just because we'd perfected the art of quiet but intense lovemaking. "More, please."
He pulled back and smiled. "Love it when you beg, babe."
I knew he did. "Then fuck me harder, please."
He braced his forearms on either side of my head, muscles bunching and flexing as he drove in harder, deeper strokes that sparked the flames of my orgasm. "So fucking wet."
"It's my gorgeous man," I panted, and raked my nails down his back, sinking my teeth into his shoulder. "I love watching you above me, pushing your big cock into me."
"Gracie," he growled as I began to pulse harder and faster around him. "So fucking good." His hips moved even faster and deeper, his strokes punishingly, deliciously hard.
"Maverick," I moaned when I felt the familiar tingle crawl up from my toes before it exploded to my extremities. "I'm," I began, before pleasure erupted from every inch of my body.
"Fuck." He pumped harder but slower, prolonging my orgasm almost painfully but powerfully. "Such a good girl," he moaned as I pulsed around him, growing wetter and wetter. "Oh fuck!" His body jerked and vibrated as pleasure shot out of him and into the depths of my body, our connection, our bond, sealed completely. "Gracie."
"Maverick," I sighed, and stroked the side of his face, his damp red hair that had grown considerably this past year. "I love you. Totally and completely."
"Good," he kissed my neck, "because I love you too."
I kept my ankles locked behind his back because I loved the weight of his body pressed against mine, loved the way his cock continued to pulse within me. When time permitted, I would hold him like this until he slipped from my body. "How did we get so lucky?"
"Don't know. Don't care," he said, and kissed me deeply. "All I know is that now that I have you, I'm not gonna fuck it up." Maverick reached towards his pillow, and when he pulled back, there was a ring box between us.
"What's this?" I knew it was important to him to make our love official even if it wasn't possible for at least five more years. There were ways we could get the ball rolling more quickly, but we didn't want to raise anyone's suspicions. However, Maverick and I were together, and that was all that mattered.
"This is a token of the love I feel for you, Gracie. It's a promise of that love and all the love that's to come. I know you're fine with never getting married, but I want you to know that I'm all in with you."
"I know." I smiled and cupped one side of his face. "I've never had any doubts about it."
His gaze turned serious, those blue orbs piercing my heart and my soul. "I never wanted anyone the way I want you, and every fucking day, you are the only one I want. You've given me the life and the happiness I didn't even know was possible. Hell, I didn't even know to aim this high, but every single day, you give me more joy, more love. Just…more."
The ring he slipped on my finger was gorgeous. It wasn't a boring diamond like the engagement ring Trent had bought me, oh no. This was an oddly stunning combination that started with a black gold band that looked like climbing vines and a princess cut emerald perched on top.
"It's gorgeous, Maverick. Truly stunning." I blinked away tears because this was a happy occasion, and in that moment I was so happy I felt as though I might burst from it. "I love you and I promise that I always will. I promise to be your safe space as well as your peace. I promise to challenge you when you need it and follow you when it's necessary. God, I just promise."
There was an ominous noise from downstairs.
Maverick and I looked at each other and laughed. "Life is never boring with one-year-old twins, is it?"
"No, I guess it's not. We should get going before Sophie burns down the house." Last weekend she'd tried to make pancakes for her brothers in the microwave and it hadn't gone well. I laughed at the memory and Maverick groaned.
"Do that again," he demanded.
I bit my lip, feeling my pussy clench around him as he hardened inside me all over again. "We can't," I warned him even as another laugh spilled from my lips.
"If we don't, it might be days before we can do this again." He was a master at tempting me, not that I needed much to be tempted. Just that heated look in his eyes, one simple brush of his fingertips across the back of my neck was enough.
I pushed my hips up towards him and pulsed around him as he grew within me. "Especially with another on the way."
Maverick froze at my admission, a slow smile spreading across his beautiful face. "Really?"
"I wanted to tell you last night." I'd just been so tired lately.
"But you fell asleep before the boys did during story time." His smile grew just as hips began to move. One pump. Two pumps.
I arched into him and spread my legs to take his weight. "You're happy?"
"Thrilled. The sight of your belly round with my baby, your tits huge and sensitive. I can't wait." His hips moved faster and deeper.
A voice called up the stairs interrupting our moment, "Mom, where's the pancake mix?"
"Tell your brothers to wait," I shouted back to Sophie.
Maverick sighed and rolled onto his back. "Little cockblockers."
I laughed and rolled on top of him to place a brief kiss right over his chest. "Don't worry, big guy, we can meet back here for lunch. To celebrate a quiet house and a new addition to the family."
His hand snaked around my arm, and he pulled me back to his chest for a long kiss that stole my breath. He always kissed me like that, as if I was his whole entire world and he could kiss me until the end of time. "Deal."
When I turned on shaky legs to go to the bathroom, he smacked my ass, and another shiver went through me. I was all smiles as I washed my face and brushed my teeth before I slipped into a shorty pajama set. My reflection showed a well-loved woman with messy hair and flushed cheeks, but above all else, she was happy.
I was happy.
I inhaled deeply and let it out slowly. It was time to start my hectic day as a wife and a mom. It was funny, really, that my life was so similar to the way it had been for years, but it was also totally different. I did things for my family because I wanted to. I got down on my knees for my man because I wanted to, hell, sometimes I needed to. But he did the same for me because we loved each other fiercely.
Every day I woke up grateful for the giant redheaded biker who'd come into my life so unexpectedly. He came at a time when I didn't think I could or would ever love again, and he'd given me a life full of love and laughter, and, of course, chaos. With that thought, I opened the bedroom door and headed downstairs.
The twins were sitting together on the living room floor while their older sister was dancing around the kitchen to some pop song. I looked down into two sets of green eyes identical to mine. "You guys are hungry?"
Two heads bobbed up and down, thick wavy red hair flopping with each nod. "Hungwy!"
"Well, then we better get some food in your bellies, huh?" I kissed each of my boys on the top of the head and accepted their tight hugs. "How about eggs?"
"Yeah!"
I laughed again because the boys were so full of joy and energy that it was contagious. "And pancakes!" Sophie called from the kitchen.
We'd have to look at bigger houses with the way our family was growing, we'd already moved into a three-bedroomed place when the twins were born. It was another thing I added to my mental to-do list as I put on a pot of coffee for Maverick and pulled eggs and milk from the fridge while I watched over Sophie preparing the pancake batter.
This was my life now, grocery lists, errands, kids' activities, the occasional lunch with Peyton and Ellie, and a bit of part-time marketing work for the MCs' businesses. It was busy and hectic and at times it was overwhelming.
But I wouldn't have it any other way.
