Chapter 18
Yejun tossed him onto the coffee table in the living room and for a moment Nix was too scared to move.
His mind raced a mile a minute, assessing the situation in an attempt to find the best way to protect himself going forward. All of those horror stories he’d been told and hadn’t wanted to believe in raced through his mind and he felt the fear grow until he was shaking.
“I should have slit your throat the second I saw you,” Yejun’s words were like daggers through Nix’s heart and he hated that.
He hated that it bothered him when it shouldn’t.
It shouldn’t matter what this asshole thought of him at all. Hadn’t he been forced into this from the get-go? Nix hadn’t wanted his attention—any of their attention. A flash of indignation came over him before he could help it and, of course, Yejun noticed.
Nix let out a yelp as he was flipped onto his back and a strong hand wrapped around his throat. He grabbed onto Yejun’s wrist as the Demon planted a knee to the center of his chest and simultaneously pressed it down as he squeezed. The second his airflow was cut off, panic had him struggling, but he couldn’t get the other man to budge.
“Enough!” Lake pulled Yejun back so that he toppled off of Nix, but he didn’t move him further away than that. “Let us explain.”
“Explain?” the Demon stood and shoved Lake hard enough he fell down onto the couch. “No explanation needed, brother . You made him your mate to protect him from me, knowing that once I found out, I would react just like this. Are you going to deny it?”
“No.”
“He can’t be trusted! What if—”
“I didn’t want any of this,” Nix dared to interject. “I didn’t ask to be used to help you find the hacker, and I didn’t ask to be bitten. You can’t blame me for getting involved with you when that was never my intention.”
“Iris was a lying cunt,” Yejun said. “And from what I can see, you’re no better.”
“Because I didn’t tell you she and I are related?” He sat up indignantly. “Look how you’re acting! No one in their right mind would tell you something like that! It’d be suicide!”
“He isn’t going to kill you,” Lake growled, and even though the reassurance had been meant for Nix, his heated gaze was pointedly locked on the other Demon.
“You’re choosing him over me,” Yejun accused.
“No, I’m not.”
“Yes, you are. You know what she did! What she put me and West through and yet you brought him into this and forced us—”
“Forced you ?!” Nix barked out a humorless laugh. Maybe he was losing his mind due to the fear, or maybe he was more hurt by Yejun’s flippant comments than he realized. Hell, perhaps he just didn’t give a shit anymore.
About any of this.
Juri would keep Briant safe, and he’d just discovered that the King he’d been after all this time had already been dealt with. It wasn’t like he could do worse to Rase than blind him.
Nix tore off his shirt without a second thought, exposing the smattering of love bites and bruises all across his chest. “You don’t have a right to make that claim. The only person here who’s been forced to do anything is me. Branwen hurt you? Boo-fucking-hoo. She hurt me, too! Hell, you’re hurting me right now!”
Yejun’s eyes flashed with anger. “Don’t sit there and act like you didn’t like every second of it. If I touched you right now, you’d get hard for me in seconds.”
“Fuck you.” Yup. Nix had definitely lost his mind. Tears pricked at the corners of his eyes, and his bottom lip trembled pathetically, but he didn’t even attempt to get off the table. Instead, his shaking hands went to his belt and he undid it.
“What are you doing?”
“This is what you want, right?” The sound of his zipper coming undone was like a gunshot, but he did his best to keep his composure and hide just how frightened he actually was. Obviously they could tell he was emotional right now, but pleading for his life wasn’t going to work, and showing them just how afraid he was would probably only spur Yejun on further.
Nix lifted his butt so he could remove his pants and underwear and then tossed them to the side. Then, he boldly met Yejun’s gaze head-on. “You want to humiliate me. That’s your go-to method when you’re pissed off at someone.”
That’s why he’d tricked those guys into screwing on the waif field and why he’d pissed on Rase even after blinding him. Pain wasn’t enough to satisfy the monster inside of Yejun. He needed to inflict the ultimate suffering, and for someone like him, someone who came from money and power, that was by tearing apart a person’s pride. Reducing them to nothing.
He’d put those pieces together a while ago, and yet he’d still foolishly allowed himself to buy into the artist's bullshit about caring for him.
Yejun didn’t care about him.
Yejun just wanted inside of him.
Nix spread his legs, effectively straddling the table.
He hated this table. If given the chance, he was going to set it on fire.
“I won’t stop you,” he said. He couldn’t stop him, but refusing to resist and make things worse was pretty much the only way he could protect himself.
It was the only way he could hold on to any semblance of his self-respect, something he’d already given far too much of to the Demons.
“You think I won’t?” Yejun asked.
He shook his head. “I know you will.”
Yejun didn’t give him any time to second guess his decision, practically pouncing across the table to grab Nix by the balls.
He applied pressure and Nix cried out, the pain sending shock waves throughout his entire body. He curled into himself but that did nothing to deter Yejun, who merely planted a palm on his shoulder and shoved him back down.
“Did you really not know?” Yejun demanded.
“No!” Nix shook his head. “I swear!”
Yejun tightened his grip and tears streamed from Nix’s eyes.
“If you break him—” Lake’s words were spoken in a warning tone, but he did nothing to intervene otherwise.
“I know his limits,” Yejun cut him off gruffly.
And that was it.
The betrayal Nix felt over that was astronomical, and in the next moment, it was as though another part of his heart was breaking a little.
Why had he grow attached?
Why had he been so stupid and done that?
“Why did you really come here?” Yejun demanded to know. “If you lie, I’ll keep hurting you until you feel like being honest.”
Nix wasn’t tied down. He could fight back but then…Then what? He wouldn’t win even if he managed to get a few good shots in. He’d maybe make it off the table, but he’d never make it out of the living room. Especially not against two of them.
Would Lake help Yejun?
He almost laughed. Of course he would. Wasn’t that what he was doing right now by sitting there, watching as his balls were compressed?
Nix was trapped and he knew it, and what’s more, Yejun knew he knew it. That was the only reason he wasn’t currently restrained. If he tried to struggle, he most likely would be. There was no way of escaping the Demon’s wrath, only the chance to lessen the blows to a level in which Nix could still survive at the end of this.
“I wanted to know who hurt her,” Nix confessed, though it took several seconds longer than it should have to get all the words past his clenched jaw. He sobbed in mild relief when Yejun’s hand loosened, just barely.
“So you admit you came here for revenge against me?”
“No!” He shook his head and sent a pleading look Lake’s way.
“Don’t look at him,” Yejun snapped. “He’s not innocent in all of this. You both lied to me.”
“I only knew that Branwen got involved with a King,” Nix frantically explained. “But it wasn’t you she was upset about. You’re not the one I came here for.”
“You expect me to believe that?”
“Serendipity!” He held his breath and made himself watch more closely for any signs of change over either of their faces. “That’s who she was chatting with on the Enigma app. He’s who hurt her.”
Yejun stopped crushing him and frowned. “Didn’t you say you think he’s the hacker responsible for the break-in at the Club House?”
Nix nodded. “Yes! But that’s why I think it. I know he and Branwen were connected.”
“Sure, but that doesn’t make sense. Why would Rase do that? What did he have to gain?”
“I don’t know.”
With his hold on Nix’s intimate parts and one hand on his thigh, Yejun pulled him down the length of the coffee table until his ass hung slightly over the edge, ignoring the way Nix hissed. The sound of Yejun’s pants coming undone had Nix blinking past tears.
“Yejun…” A part of him actually felt relieved when the Demon pulled his cock free. The fact that he was hard meant he still wanted Nix. If he wanted him, there was a better chance he wouldn’t maim him.
If those were his options, be brutally fucked or be crippled in some way, Nix knew which one he’d choose.
“Yejun,” he breathed through the pain as he was squeezed again, “please. I didn’t know Branwen was Iris. And I couldn’t tell you. Would you tell you?”
“No,” he admitted, stroking himself aggressively a few times, his cock growing even larger. “But I also would have made sure the secret went with me to my grave. You aren’t as smart as West praises you for being.”
He let go of Nix’s dick and grabbed him by the knees, lifting his ass high into the air. With no warning other than that, his cock prodded at Nix’s unprepared hole until he was able to push that thick crown past that tight ring of muscle.
Nix sucked in a breath. “Wait! Please, I—”
Yejun made one clean thrust and buried himself straight down to the hilt.
Nix’s scream echoed in the room, but it was more from shock than anything. There wasn’t that much pain, maybe due to the fact he’d slept with West this morning before leaving for classes, maybe because, despite everything, he was also turned on.
Another thing to hate about himself later when he was alone again and could lick his wounds.
West implemented pain in the bedroom all the time and Nix had started to like it more and more. Proof of that was how stiff his dick was and how he moaned as he was stuffed past that too-full feeling.
He covered his face, shame burning through him as Yejun flicked his hips and then dug his nails painfully into Nix’s skin just above his knees.
“Look at you,” Yejun grunted as he began to pound into him, “you’re such a slut.”
His cheeks burned and he shook his head in denial.
“You’re leaking all over,” he pointed out. “Lying to me again already?”
“That’s not—” Realizing his mistake too late, Nix howled when Yejun’s hand returned to his now hard dick. The grip wasn’t as tight this time, though, not meant to hurt so much as severely discomfort.
“He’s lied to you too, Lake,” Yejun announced, and Nix gasped. “You know what his ass looks like taking cock. He’s too loose to have only been played with.”
Lake’s brow furrowed and his shoulders stiffened. He sent an accusatory look Nix’s way, but he refused to cower in front of the Imperial.
If he was going to sit there and watch like this was some show, he didn’t have the right to act like he’d been betrayed.
“How many times has West come inside you, Phoenix?” Yejun asked. He grunted. “That explains why you were so eager to give yourself to me like this. You’re used to pain in the bedroom by now, aren’t you? Which means, you’ve tricked me again.”
For a moment, the sounds of their flesh slapping together as Yejun fucked him, and his sobs were the only sounds, then the Demon dropped over him, flattening him against the surface of the coffee table, forcing him to spread his legs wide.
“If Lake wasn’t here watching,” he whispered against Nix’s ear in a way Nix was certain was too low for the Imperial to hear, “I would break your fingers one by one.” He captured Nix’s wrists and pinned them above his head. “Try hacking with broken hands, bet it’d be a struggle. You’d be forced to rely on my mercy to do basic things like feed yourself and wipe this tight ass of yours.”
Nix turned his head away and closed his eyes, gritting his teeth as a messed-up mixture of emotions assaulted him as swiftly as Yejun.
“Your hole has already stretched for me,” Yejun continued. “It’s taking me so good. Your mouth might lie, but your body is always so honest. You still want to receive my cock and my come, even though you’re trembling in fear. There’s an idea. Should I fuck you to death? Lake wouldn’t realize until it was too late.”
Nix whimpered in protest but then froze up when Yejun’s teeth pricked at his neck.
Yejun laughed at his reaction. “Do you think I’d bite you? I would never. If I ever do take a mate, you best believe he wouldn’t be trash like you.”
He clenched his hands into fists and the Demon felt it.
“What? Did that upset you?” he taunted.
“I know you’re angry, but I didn’t do anything wrong aside from keep it from you,” Nix said, forgetting for a second that survival should come before his pride.
“You share the same blood as that bitch.”
“She lied to me too!”
“Then you should blame her for what’s about to happen here.”
Yejun fucked him so hard Nix saw stars.
Then he fucked him again, in the exact same position so that his body didn’t get any relief in any sense of the word. He kept Nix trapped beneath his weight, only sometimes caring enough to lift himself enough not to crush him and make it hard for him to breathe.
Nix lost track of time, moments blending into one another as he started coming in and out of consciousness, either due to overstimulation, exhaustion, dehydration, or all three. He couldn’t even begin to take a guess. Just when he thought the Demon would finally stop, Yejun’s cock would thicken inside of him, and the fucking would start all over again.
It was nothing like the soft and sweet sex they usually had in Yejun’s studio. There was nothing caring or kind in the way Yejun touched him. He’d very obviously reduced Nix to a thing in his mind, an object he could use to assuage his anger and his lust.
Once in a while, he’d let Nix reach orgasm with him, but more often than not, one of his hands dipped between them and cinched around the base of his dick, acting as a cock ring of sorts to prevent him from being able to.
The plan had been to take the punishment—even though he didn’t deserve it—to appease Yejun and calm him enough to explain things, but this…
“You’re really going to kill me,” his voice was hoarse, and he could barely get the words above a whisper, but Yejun’s cheek was pressed against his so the Demon heard loud and clear.
And he laughed, the sound dark and derisive.
Evil.
“If you can manage to speak a little louder,” he whispered back, spearing his cock through Nix’s bruised and battered body, “maybe Lake will actually hear you. Would you like that? For him to come to your rescue? Or was your crush on Maestro another lie?”
He whined, unable to do anything other than that.
“Your cousin tried to murder the most important person to me,” Yejun divulged, pure, undiluted hatred ringing in the statement. “It’s only fair I return the favor and try to take her most important person too. You said you were close, didn’t you, Phoenix?”
Nix was struggling to follow.
Murder?
They’d told him Branwen had drugged Yejun.
Most important person?
Who?
Yejun slapped him across the face, not hard enough to leave any lasting marks, but enough it snapped him out of it. “Pay attention, I’m talking to you.”
“Don’t hit him,” Lake said, but he sounded incredibly far away. Much further than the short distance of the couch.
Had he moved, or was Nix losing it?
His vision darkened for the millionth time, and he figured that was his answer.
Yejun kept speaking, but he could no longer process any of the words. It all just sounded like a jumbled mess, as though Nix was listening underwater. He felt the Demons cock battering his insides, hitting against his prostate over and over, the movements timed perfectly, his rhythm never faltering. If he was coming undone like Nix, he didn’t show it, instead giving the impression that he could do this all day.
Was it even still daytime?
Nix didn’t get an answer. Instead, he was allowed to come again, squirting between his and Yejun’s bodies. But not much.
“That was pathetic,” he thought he heard Yejun say. “You can’t be dry already. Let’s keep trying.”
“No…” He shook his head. Or, maybe he didn’t.
That darkness crept up from all angles, and Nix almost desperately welcomed it with open arms.
