Epilogue
EPILOGUE
Three months later, spring had come to Blowing Rock, bringing with it warmer days and blooming flowers. The inn was bustling with guests, and I had started a small interior decorating business, catering to the people of Blowing Rock. It wasn’t the high-profile city life I’d once had, but it was more than enough.
Ethan and I were taking things slow, but we were happy. Mae had already declared me her “official” decorating partner for next Christmas, and Ethan, well, he’d finally admitted that a little glitter wasn’t the end of the world.
“Are you ready for the spring festival?” Ethan asked, wrapping his arm around my waist as we stood on the inn’s porch, watching Mae chase after her new puppy in the yard.
I smiled up at him, my heart full. “Ready as I’ll ever be. But I’m warning you now—there will be glitter.”
He groaned, but there was a smile on his lips. “I wouldn’t expect anything less.”
And as I looked out at Blowing Rock, at the town that had always been my home, I realized that this simple, imperfect life was where I was always meant to be. Here, I didn’t just belong; Ifit. Perfectly. Glitter and all.
