Chapter 7
CHAPTER SEVEN
Two Weeks Later
“Good morning.” Silas’ gruff morning voice cascaded over me.
“Morning.” My voice was hoarse as I pulled myself from sleep.
We were both on our sides, facing each other. We’d moved so fast in our new relationship but it just felt so right. The way he smiled at me—whether he knew if I could see it or not—gave me an experience I’d never felt before. Someone who honestly seemed to appreciate me and wasn’t keeping me around for their own fulfillment. Someone who gave me attention without expecting anything in return.
Silas slipped his hand onto my waist, rubbing his thumb in circles. The movement sent tingles through my body. From the moment he’d found out just what his touch in this precise spot did to me, he’d been using it against me.
But I didn’t mind. Not one bit.
A small moan escaped my lips.
Silas brought his lips to my ear. “I love what my touch does to you.”
I wrapped my hand around his neck, directing his lips to meet mine.
It felt like second nature with Silas, yet every time felt like a new world wonder was discovered for me.
“Don’t ever stop.” I whispered before easing him on to his back so I could slide onto him.
“Fuck, yes, Elodie.” Silas groaned, gripping my bare hips as I leaned over to grab a condom.
I rolled it on, taking my time to slide my hand up and down a few times. Not that he needed anymore enticement. He was already hard for me.
For me.
The thought alone made me wet.
I lifted and lowered myself onto him, letting him fill me. My eyes rolled backwards as we both began moving in perfect tandem together. Silas thrust himself in and out of me and I had to hold on to my bed frame, crying out in ecstasy.
Silas brought me to orgasm after orgasm before he finally found his release as well.
I collapsed onto him, both of us breathless.
“I can’t get enough of you, El.” Silas admitted.
I nodded enthusiastically, unable to form words at the moment.
We laid there in each other’s embrace, enjoying the moment.
If someone had told me a month ago that I’d be wrapped up in someone’s arms, I would have laughed. Hell, if someone had told me I’d finally know what real orgasms felt like, I would have claimed that I already knew.
Little did I know, Silas was the only one who had ever made me truly experience how glorious an orgasm could truly be.
“El! Elodie! Are you still sleeping?” Silvie’s voice ripped us both from the moment.
“Fuck!” I screeched, jolting upright in the bed.
Silas groaned. “Dammit, Silvie.”
“What time is it?” I hissed, fumbling around for my phone.
12:13 P.M.
“Shit!”
“What?” Silas’ eyes were wide.
“I completely forgot that Silvie and I had plans today.”
“Shit.” He stumbled out of the bed and ran to close my bedroom door.
“El?” Silvie’s voice grew as she came closer to my room.
“Do you think she saw you?”
“No.”
“Good.”
“What are we going to do?”
We’d been keeping our relationship a secret from Silvie out of fear of what she would think. After all, I was her best friend, and he was her brother.
“Um,” I scanned the room. “Closet?”
“Naked?”
We both frantically searched my room for his clothes. Finally, he located his boxers, and I found his shirt. “I’m borrowing this.” I mumbled as I pulled his shirt over my head.
When I could see again, I saw the devilish grin spread across his face.
“What?”
“I like this. A lot.” Silas stepped towards me and slipped his hands onto my waist, diving down for a deep kiss.
I melted into him but only for a moment as Silvie’s knock jolted us back to reality.
“I’m gonna kill her.” Silas groaned.
“Go!” I hissed and watched as Silas’ bare ass scurried into my closet.
The second he closed the door, I yanked my bedroom door open before Silvie could get anymore impatient.
“Silvie!” I forced out, catching my breath.
“What’s going on? Did you forget about our plans?”
“Um, I’m so sorry, I overslept.” I scanned the room, trying to make sure that it wasn’t obvious that I hadn’t, in fact, been sleeping.
“Uh huh. Sure.”
“Um, if you want to wait out there, I’ll get ready.”
Silvie narrowed her eyes at me. “Okay.”
I could hear the suspicion in her voice.
“Okay.” I repeated.
She started to turn but stopped halfway. “By the way, have you seen my brother?”
“Silas? Uh, no. I haven’t. Why would I?”
“Because you’re wearing his shirt.”
“What? This? No, it’s mine.” I smoothed out the shirt, as if thinking that would somehow convince her.
“I bought that for him, El.”
My eyes went wide. “Um.”
Silvie suddenly broke out in laughter. “Silas, you can come out now.” She called out.
“Wha—What?” I stammered.
“You think I don’t know that you two have been sneaking around behind my back?”
“Um.” I still couldn’t form a solid reply.
“I’m not mad.” Silvie smiled wide. “In fact, I’m happy!”
“You—you are?”
“Yes! Now, Silas, come on out.”
We turned as we heard the closet door knob begin to turn.
“Wait! You do have some sort of clothes on right?”
Silas’ head popped through the doorway. “Yes.” He sheepishly stepped out, only wearing boxers.
“That’s not enough clothes!” Silvie held her hand out to block her view of her brother as she closed her eyes.
I finally located Silas’ jeans and grabbed them, throwing them at his face. He barely caught them and quickly shimmied into them.
“You can open your eyes now, Silvie.” Silas stepped to my side and wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me against him.
I leaned my head against his bare warm chest.
“Aw, you two are cute.” She waived her finger back and forth between us as she scrunched her nose.
“Are you sure that you’re okay with this?” Silas asked, wincing in case she changed her mind.
“Yes. I am. Now, just don’t flirt too much in front of me. I don’t need to see you two making out or anything.”
Silas and I laughed simultaneously.
“Don’t worry. We’ll try not to subject you to that.” Silas answered before wrapping his free hand under my chin and pulled me up to meet his lips halfway.
He planted a soft kiss on my lips but lingered for a moment—until we heard Silvie groan.
“Come on.”
I let out a light chuckle. “Thank you, Sil.” I kept my eyes on Silas’ though, seeing out of the corner of my eye that Silvie had clasped her hands together in front of her chin.
“I’m just glad to see you happy, El. It’s about time.”
“It is.” I answered, leaning my head against his chest again.
“Now, Silas. You even think about hurting her or treating her any less than the goddess that she is, I will break every bone in your body.” Silvie narrowed her eyes at Silas as she pointed at him.
“Trust me, I have every intention of doing everything I can to give El everything she could ever want.”
“Good. Now, I’m going to go and watch something on your TV as you two…get ready to go.”
Silvie didn’t wait for a response before leaving my room, closing the door behind her.
“That went better than I expected.” I looked up at Silas, letting myself get captured in his eyes.
“I agree.” He leaned in for another soft kiss. “And I meant every word, Elodie.”
“I know.”
“You deserve everything good in this world and I want to be the one who gives it to you.”
