Chapter 10
Zale
The sea breeze was soft and warm, with eddies every once in a while strong enough to lift the blanket. I placed the picnic basket on the wind side edge to keep the blanket in place. Kendry placed the stack of towels and the extra blanket on the other corner.
With everything in place, including the beach toys, I brought out the sunscreen.
"You did think of everything." Kendry's eyes were wide with wonder.
I couldn't get enough of watching his sweet reactions to everything, the sea, the sand, the toys… and me.
Kendry pulled off his shirt and shoes, then started undoing his shorts. I couldn't help but watch. He was enticing, unzipping his little short-shorts and shimmying them down his lean-muscled, hairless legs. Even more enticing was what was beneath. Stretchy, hot pink trunks that barely covered his slim ass.
Since I now knew he wasn't actually ace, I allowed my gaze to linger. I always thought he was lovely to look at, but now I allowed myself to respond.
I gulped back my desire and handed him the sunscreen. He took it in his hand and looked at it, then at me. "Can you put some on my back?"
He was going to allow me to touch him. I bit hard at the inside of my lip to control my grin. "Sure."
I squirted some on his shoulders and he let out a peep. "That's cold."
"It was in the cooler." I placed my palms on his skin and began to rub.
He was warm and smooth, and my hands slowly slipped over his silken skin. It was all I could do to control my arousal in public.
I squirted more lotion and moved my hands lower to his waist and the small of his back. He was mesmerizing, standing so still, his body pliant and young, ripples of muscle giving beneath my strokes.
"Do you want me to do the backs of your legs?"
I heard his breaths. One long breath in. One out.
"Yes, please."
I knelt behind him, a bit overwhelmed at the closeup of his soft, slim thighs. I would now have to touch them. With sunscreen lotion on my hands.
I got a little dizzy as I upended the bottle into one palm. Could I have bought the spray version? Certainly. Getting to touch Kendry in this way had been premeditated on my part when I'd browsed the sunscreen selections at the store.
Now I faced two sweet globes caught in stretchy hot pink trunks that pressed tightly against his skin. The edges pressed against his firmness. There were light hairs on the back of his thighs, glinting in the sunlight.
All I could hear now were the waves fizzing and sighing along the shore.
I reached out. My hand looked big against his leg. When I pressed down, all I sensed was warmth shimmering through my hand and up my arm. I stroked down, leaving a white smear on him, my entire body absorbing that warmth, that touch.
Kendry's leg quivered. He bent his knee as if to regain his balance.
I repeated the procedure on his other thigh. By then the cauldron inside me had overflowed to my balls and cock. Good thing I was wearing loose trunks that went halfway down my own thighs.
I finished far too quickly. Kendry turned, looking down at me through soft, lowered lids. "Thank you. I got the rest." He held out his hand.
As I undressed, folding my clothes and placing them under the cooler so they wouldn't blow away if the breeze picked up, I couldn't help but watch him spread the lotion over his chest and arms, then the fronts of his legs.
I'd calmed somewhat by the time he was finished. I held out my own hand for the sunscreen, though I didn't burn. My skin got darker and darker but never red. Still, it was smart to use some. Sunscreen helped prevent skin cancer.
Kendry held it against his chest as he spoke. "I'll do your back."
My breath hitched. "Okay."
"You have to kneel." His voice came out firm. "You're too tall."
I knelt, my back to him. "I've been told I'm tall, but never too tall."
"I didn't mean it that way. I like that you're tall. But I just have to reach you, that's all."
I chuckled. This trip was already turning out way better than I'd planned.
Small hands, both together, landed on my upper back. He must've set the bottle on the blanket.
Arousal threatened to flare again. I battled to keep myself at a low simmer.
Those little hands. Fingers pressing, leaving tingles everywhere. The gentle way he rubbed sunscreen into my skin. I wanted to turn right then and enfold him in my arms, take, possess… kiss those full pink lips.
"Okay, stand up," he commanded.
I stood and turned. As much as I wanted him to go further, I would not be able to control myself. "I don't need it on my legs."
He took a small step back, shading his eyes as he looked up. "You're so tall the sun can't reach there, right?"
I took a friendly swipe at him as he shrieked, giggled and then started running for the water.
If that wasn't an invitation to chase him, I didn't know what was. He was fast. I ran down the sparkling sand behind him as he sprinted into the shallow waves. He quickly got deeper and tripped, as so many excited swimmers did, and landed on his chest. Water splashed around him as he swam into the next oncoming wave.
I didn't slam forward into the surf until further in, my long legs holding me up, but as the waves came around me, I let myself go. I was falling toward him. Falling for him. Everything upside down and right-side up at the same time.
When I caught up to Kendry, a small wave pushed us into each other. I put one arm around his shoulders. He shrieked with laughter, losing his balance and floating into me.
He jumped back and dived into the next wave, coming up sputtering.
I swam to him and lifted him up by the elbow. "Are you all right?"
"This is so fun!"
Water swirled around us. I let go of him, but he turned suddenly and put his arms around my neck, the tide pushing our bodies together. His legs wrapped around my waist. Now I was holding him like it was the most natural thing in the world.
I barely had time to linger in the luxurious feel of his body against mine when a large wave crashed into us, tossing us both aside.
We stood up in chest deep water—waist deep for me—grinning at each other. Another wave gathered just beyond, swelling until it was higher than I was tall. Just before it crashed, Kendry said, "Chase me!" and dived into the aqua swell.
I dived after him. We beat the crash of the wave and came up beyond its crest, treading water. I flipped my hair out of my face. Water drops landed on my lips, tasting of salt.
"That was awesome!" Kendry yelled.
I lunged at him. He squealed but didn't swim away, letting me catch him.
This time we came together slowly, his legs lifting around me again under the water. My hands gripped his waist, holding him in place. His chest touched mine, bare skin against bare skin. I wanted to curl around him, take him with me into the unknown and never look back.
Kendry locked his ankles at the small of my back and leaned away, head and shoulders touching the roiling surface of the tide.
His uncontained laughter filled me up. I joined in, swinging him around as another large wave came over us, around us. I took him under with me. He clung like he never wanted to let go.
We popped up, Kendry still laughing, half-choking now.
I pulled him to me and patted his back. "Are you drowning?"
"It's wonderful!"
We stayed in the water playing together, touching and hugging, until our fingertips wrinkled.
My stomach growled. I heard his echo mine.
"Let's go in and have a snack," I suggested.
"Okay. Then can we play with the toys?"
"Sure. Sandcastles and beach balls. Whatever you want."
Sand rose up around our wet feet, dotting our ankles and calves. We sat on the blanket, our feet over the edge, and snacked on the fruit plate I'd brought.
"Ready for a sandwich yet?" I asked.
"Sure. Then we can make our castle while our food digests and go back in?"
"Sounds like a plan. We can take the raft."
"Yeah!"
I brought out fresh chicken salad sandwiches on thick wheat bread. We each devoured two. For a small guy, Kendry ate a lot. We had both worked up quite an appetite.
We sunned for a while. Then I opened the net bag of molds, shovels and buckets. It was a large bag. I had gotten the big one because I wanted to play in the sand, too.
Kendry sat up, wiping at his eyes. "I want the red bucket."
I handed it over with a yellow shovel.
He jumped up and ran to the damp part of the shore but still well away from the encroaching wavelets. He began digging into the sand with his little shovel.
I walked toward him with the big bag of toys, then poured them all out until they surrounded him.
"Oh, wow!" He picked them up one by one.
With two molds in his hand, he ran to the water and filled them with very wet sand. He brought it back and turned them over, lifting them gently and creating a part of our castle wall.
"Good start."
I took a bucket down to the water's edge and filled it up. I did that four or five times making a pile of wet sand for Kendry to mold. He set to work as if he knew exactly what he was doing, digging for drier sand on some molds, wetter for others.
I brought a bucket of water up in case we needed it to wet the area.
Kendry's knees were pale brown with sand. I could feel it between my toes.
Kendry was very bossy while building. He instructed me where to put my own molds, and how to smooth everything out and make sure it was strong enough not to crumble. I loved every moment.
My damp trunks slapped wetly against my thighs. Kendry was dressed much skimpier, but it was also wise. Nothing got in his way. He was graceful and streamlined as he went about his construction. I kept glancing at his ass when he turned, and watching his thighs tense as he knelt up and down. His flat stomach creased as he bent to tweak this or that tower. His shoulders were firm and wide for his stature. He was a strong little guy, lean muscles bunching all over.
I was so attracted to him, I could barely think. I had never had a lover as small as he was. I'd gone for the big muscle guys. But I heated up at the thought of Kendry in my bed, Kendry reaching up for me, demanding things from me with big-eyed, imploring gazes as his arms and legs wrapped around me.
Why had I never noticed pretty littles like him before at the clubs? I had been narrow in my thinking. I'd told him I'd given everything a try in my life, but really, that was a lie. I had my perceived tastes, and my youthful wild nature mainly looked to get off several times a night if I could manage it. I had watched just about everything I could, including daddies punishing their boys. But I'd always bypassed the littles playrooms in every club I went to. It had seemed too quiet, too sedate. Boring.
In my immaturity, what did I know?
When I focused away from my long-winded thoughts, Kendry was gazing at me. "You went far away," he said.
"Sorry. I'm right here and having the time of my life."
"Good." He tilted his head. "Me, too."
When we both sat back and stared at our creation, we oohed and ahhed in unison.
"It looks great." I winked at Kendry.
"It really does," he replied.
Our castle had three levels if you counted the towers we'd balanced on the second level rooftop. We had walls that went around the structure leaving room for landscaping and outbuildings, which we'd meticulously added. We had both participated in digging the moat, then made a flat square from part of a mold as a little bridge. I got more water in a bucket and slowly poured it into the moat.
"We're good together," I said.
"We are," Kendry agreed.
There were multiple levels to our words now. At least, I hoped so. We were good together. Kendry and I. We fit.
