Chapter 24

Joel

"A date. Really?" We were supposed to go on two-person dates but we hadn't been following that rule to the letter. "Are you sure?"

Me and Daddy usually had little time together not big date time.

Hmm.

Had he thought me getting all clean meant he had to take me out to eat?

"Like going to McDonald's? When I was little…younger little, not me little…they had Playplaces in them and I got to climb. No one climbs anymore." That was sad.

Daddy blinked. "I think they got rid of those because they were dirty. Like filled with the plague dirty."

So?

"A little plague never killed anyone. We need healthy immune systems, so they have to be tested." It'd be fine.

I just wanted Playplaces again.

"No." Daddy shook his head being stubborn. "But how about if I find us a good place to climb or play? There has to be somewhere."

"Yes, please. Then we can have a date there too." Oh yeah. "You want a grown-up date?"

Tate was over on the couch not being very Master but he was having fun and giggling. "This is even better than I pictured."

He was kind of weird when he was happy.

"Have you been drinking?" We hadn't done that enough lately. "I want one too."

Oops.

Daddy sighed.

"I didn't do it." Whatever it was. "Tate did it."

He was also nearly falling off the couch, so he probably had done it.

"No. He's ridiculous but sober." Daddy glared at Tate like he'd been naughty. Maybe Tate had done something and I just hadn't realized it?

I was such a good guesser.

Oh, maybe Daddy was just realizing that Tate wasn't as sober as he thought?

"We're not going to let him distract us, though." Daddy seemed to be talking to me but he was still frowning at Tate. "He's just in a good mood."

If that was what Daddy wanted to call it then I wasn't going to argue with him.

"Yes, Daddy." It didn't have to make sense to me for it to be right. "I'll be not that good, though."

I had a feeling being in that good of a mood might get me in trouble…and judging by the way Tate was laughing harder, I was right.

"For fuck's sake." Standing straighter, Daddy stopped saying naughty words. "Yes, I would like to take my boyfriend…one who is Olive Garden special…out on a date. A big date where we talk about grown-up stuff and hang out as boyfriends."

Aww.

"Thank you, Daddy." A voice in the back of my head that sounded a lot like my mother said to stop there and not ask why. "Why?"

She wasn't always right…just mostly right.

Daddy blinked like the circle thing on a computer that was stuck, but he didn't stay broken for long. "Because your mother is right and we need to have a strong base on every side of our relationship. It's a triangle, you know."

I knew letting her talk to him would be a bad idea.

I'd just thought it would be a bad idea for him.

"Yes. I forgot the triangle part. Boyfriend. Roommate. BDSM partner." I should've remembered that part better. I'd been too focused on the other ones. "I like the Venn Diagram ones better but I remember."

I was going to have to go back and look at my notes to see what else I'd forgotten.

"So we're going to have a date while the troublemaker on the couch finishes studying." Daddy smirked when Tate sighed that time. "How does Olive Garden and then a walk or going to the movies sound?"

Like a grown-up date.

"Weird." Oops. Daddy was glaring at me now. "Not bad weird. You're just. We don't."

Hmm.

"Yes, a date is a good idea." He couldn't just be Daddy. He was a boyfriend person too and I needed to respect that. "I like hanging out with you."

Daddy couldn't seem to decide if he wanted to sigh or smile, so I thought that meant we were moving in the right direction. "I know that. And I understand why this is weird."

"Not bad weird." But even I knew it shouldn't be weird at all, so I gave him a big smile. "I'm ready for our date, Dean."

"Great." Taking a deep breath, Daddy nodded toward the back of the apartment. "Let me get my stuff."

Mumbling something about Tate being a dick when he was right, Daddy quickly walked to his room, shaking his head.

Tate managed to stop giggling and had stayed on the couch, so he was leaning back and smiling as I bounced over to give him a kiss. "Do a good job studying."

"I will." Tate laughed when I only gave him a peck and tried to pull away. "Hey, not fair. I need a real kiss."

Daddy was right…Tate was a troublemaker.

"It's Daddy's date night." Shoot. Dean. "It's Dean's date night, so he should probably get the best kisses."

Tate cocked his head and then shrugged. "Not agreeing with that logic. I need kisses."

He was so silly.

"Fine. But if Daddy pouts, you have to give him a blow job to make him happy." For some reason that made Tate laugh as he kissed me that time, keeping his arms around me so I was trapped.

But I liked being trapped and I liked having his tongue play with mine, so I was end-of-date ready by the time he pulled away and I hadn't even left the house.

Tugging on the front of my pants to get my erection in a better position, I glared at him. "I'm not supposed to be hard at the start of the date. That's rude."

"It is?" Daddy finally came out of the bedroom but he was frowning. "You always make me hard, so I'm not sure that logic works for us. Or is it a rule?"

"I don't know." Shrugging, I frowned too. "I think I read it in a book?"

"Your parents didn't have that rule?" Daddy's question was a good one, but I shook my head. "Then we don't need to worry about it. You can be hard with us anytime you want."

"That's good." And more convenient.

"But just because you're hard does not mean we're going to do anything about it now." Tate seemed to think that was reasonable but we were going to have to agree to disagree. "You go have fun on your grown-up date, and when you get home, we'll figure out how we're going to orgasm."

Alright.

"I understand." Mostly. "But you're fine?"

Looking down at his baggy pants, I couldn't tell if he was hard or not. Tate chuckled and nodded, so I thought he probably wasn't too hard yet. "Yes. I'm fine and even if I was erect, having a hard dick won't kill me."

There was no trying to reason with him.

"That's right because taking care of our partners doesn't always mean that we have to take care of their erections." I could repeat the ridiculous rule but that didn't mean I had to believe it. "But yes, we'll have fun orgasm time later."

When he wasn't being so stubborn.

Taking care of our partners was important and I wasn't going to be the selfish one even if I was naturally greedy because of being an only child. The internet and my mother had said that could be a problem and I wasn't going to be the problem.

That was Tate's job.

He got to drive Daddy crazy and I was the cute one.

"Yes, we will." Pointing toward the door, Tate tried to look serious and glare. "Now I want my boyfriends to go have fun on their date."

Hmm.

"I think that was our Dom telling us to go have a boyfriend date." Turning to Daddy, I tried to sort through it. "Does that mean this is a sub date or is it still a grown-up boyfriend date?"

Daddy looked just as confused as I felt. "Both. He ordered his subs to have a boyfriend date."

I wasn't sure I liked the logic, but I wanted Olive Garden and attention, so I decided to debate the fine print later. "Okay."

Daddy shook his head as Tate started to snicker. "Let's go before I kill your Master."

"I think he's broken, so we're not allowed to kill him for that." I shrugged when Daddy sighed. "You can only kill him if he'd being deliberately naughty."

The giggling really just hadn't stopped for long enough to be anything else but a physical problem. "Hopefully he'll be fixed by the time we get back so he can have an orgasm too."

Daddy had been reaching for my hand but stopped before he touched me. "You're right. If he's broken, we shouldn't be doing anything stressful with him."

"Yep." We had to be careful if he wasn't feeling right. "No strenuous activity when someone isn't well."

"I like that logic." Daddy nodded, probably to himself, but he finished taking my hand. "Let's have our date and you're going to tell me about your day."

That seemed like a good plan, so as we drove, I told him about all the weird people I met and how one of the chatty guys downstairs had asked about my tail and how I'd seen word guy when I'd been heading to class earlier.

"You really don't have to answer anyone's questions if you don't want to." Daddy was looking very Daddy and even sighed as we headed up to the front of the restaurant. "I don't care if the neighbors can hear too much of our private life. You don't have to talk about tails with anyone you're not comfortable with."

"That's what I thought but I wasn't sure if there was some kind of social norm around BDSM stuff that I'd missed." People were just kind of weird, though, so it might've been that.

They were so weird they even glared at you when they were the ones eavesdropping as they came out of a restaurant.

So I just smiled as the old couple frowned at me. "Excuse you."

They huffed and kept going but Daddy pinched his lips together instead of laughing. "I think we'll save that conversation for when we sit down."

"People are very nosy." Some people just didn't have manners. "Oh, does that mean Marshall is working?"

Yes, he was.

Daddy was a wonderful date and asked for us to be seated in his section so we could have real conversations and not just boring grown-up ones. He was even very confident and didn't blush when the hostess gave us a curious look and sighed.

Only Daddy did that without looking rude, but she didn't seem to know that. When we finally sat down and she walked away, I frowned at Daddy. "She was…"

"I'm going with nosy too." Daddy was still bouncing between Dommy and Daddy. "She was making it very obvious what she was thinking."

"She's new." Marshall walked up behind Daddy and shrugged. "The manager has talked to her several times."

My boyfriend Dean wasn't very good with confrontations, but my Daddy didn't seem to have that problem. "We weren't rude and hadn't said anything inappropriate around her. There was no need for the sigh and the weird looks."

He was sexy when he was grumpy…well, when he was grumpy at other people.

I was a good boy and he never had to get grumpy at me, though.

"Half the staff is in the lifestyle and the franchise owner is too. It's a big open secret, so she knew what she was getting into when she applied." Marshall shrugged. "I'll let the manager know there was a problem, though."

"Thank you." Sitting straighter, Daddy looked like he was trying to push his frustration away. "But we're not going to let that ruin our date."

"We're having a grown-up one to make sure we're strengthening that part of our relationship. It's very important, you know." And it was important that Daddy let me know that I was special. "Thank you for being our server so we don't have to be boring on our date."

Marshall grinned. "I love littles. You're welcome and let me know if there's anything I can do to make your date even better."

"Thank you." Daddy answered before I could tell Marshall that chocolate milk would make me feel even more special. "We're good for now, but later, I'd love to get that information you were offering before? We're ready to meet some of the more established members of the local community."

Oh.

"Sure, no problem." Marshall gave us both proud of you smiles. "They're great and the meetups are fun."

Daddy nodded as he reached out with his foot under the table and rubbed his leg against mine. "We're actually looking to find someone to teach us how to safely explore some new…skills."

Really?

Date night just kept getting better and better.
