It’s got to be two in the morning as Charlotte curls into me, her breath still heavy from her lastest orgasm.

We’d fallen asleep but I’d woken her again two hours later because marrying her today has not diminished my appetite, in fact, I’m bordering on insatiable.

I’m never getting enough of this woman.

She winds an arm over her shoulder, threading her fingers into my hair. Her shoulder has healed nicely over the last six weeks, no surgery required. “Everything was perfect today.”

It was. Almost.

Charlotte looked as beautiful as I’d ever imagined. I look over the side of the bed at the crumpled gown on the floor. I’d had fun fucking her from behind with the layers of skirts billowing around us.

Aspen was stunning with its natural beauty and the fresh scent of pine. Our new home is a few hours east of here. We’ll stay until Vegas has been managed and then we’ll move back and forth between whatever home I buy in Vegas and the ranch.

And for our wedding, the hotel had gone above and beyond with service, food, and décor.

The one black spot on the day…fucking Leo. Since Charlotte had healed so nicely, I’d been forgiving and invited him to attend our wedding, even allowing him to stand with the family at the altar.

But as usual, Leo was causing trouble. He’d been making eyes at Charlotte’s best friend all day.

Kim was a beauty. There was no denying it. Tall, willowy, and graceful, with bright red hair and light green eyes, she was striking. I could see why Leo was interested, but Charlotte’s best friend was off limits. A fact I’d explain very soon.

“What is perfect, is being back in bed with you. I hated last night.”

“Your brothers didn’t keep you company?”

“I see them all the time.” I slide my hand down her bare belly. “I don’t have much chance to miss them like you have Kim. Did the two of you have fun?”

Charlotte smiles over her shoulder. “It was wonderful to see her, but I missed you last night too.”

And then she gives me one of those kisses that I love, all soft and sweet.

“I’m sorry she has to fly out so early tomorrow. It’s not very restful.”

My fingers dip between Charlotte’s legs as I lick behind her ear, sucking on that spot where I can feel her thrumming pulse. “I hired her a car to make it easier.”

“Thank you, Mason. Kim and I only had each other when we didn’t have anyone else, and I really appreciate you taking care of her.”

I straighten up, my fingers stilling. “I’m worried about the way Leo was eyeing her.”

But Charlotte shakes her head. “Don’t. Kim doesn’t date, like ever.”

“You didn’t either. Until you did.” And then my fingers dive back in. Because I married the love of my life and I’m going to enjoy it.

But I make a mental note. Keep tabs on my brother. He’s still on my shit list and I won’t have any problem giving him a beating if he needs one.

And I’ll keep an eye on Kim too.

Because if she’s important to Charlotte, then she’s important to me.

But that can wait until morning. Right now, I’m going make love to my wife. Again…
