Chapter 5
CHAPTER FIVE
S ilas woke up with his legs tangled with not only Bran’s, but Jamie’s too. Oh, they had formed a full-on pile of bodies and limbs while they were sleeping. He loved it. Of course, it would make slipping out of bed to go to the bathroom a bit of a problem, but he’d do his best not to wake either of them.
He leaned back slightly and slid his top leg free.
Bran’s eyes cracked open, and he got a smile, and a mouthed, “Love you.”
He mouthed it back and slid out his other leg. Go him, he didn’t seem to have woken their new boy. He hightailed it to the bathroom, doing his business and giving his teeth a quick brush.
They were going to have so much fun. He was buzzing with energy.
He headed back into the bedroom, eager to be with his lovers again.
Bran’s eyes were opened, petting Jamie gently. They were so pretty together, and it reinforced his gut instinct that this was right, Jamie was their boy.
Bran winked at him, blew him a kiss. Oh, his lover looked so happy. Just another tick in the yes column. He blew a kiss right back.
He glanced at the time. Just after 2 in the afternoon. They’d slept the rest of the morning away. Not a bad way to spend it in his opinion. But he’d bet their boy would be hungry. As if on cue, his own belly rumbled and he snorted at himself.
“Going to order sandwiches,” he whispered. “Something decadent and delicious.”
Bran nodded and licked his lips, eyes twinkling. Sexy fucker. The temptation to climb back into bed with them was huge, but he made himself go over to his pants and fish his phone out of the front pocket.
“I want something spicy, love,” Bran growled.
“I know.” He knew. He didn’t know what Jamie liked, though he did know he liked guacamole tacos best, so he ordered a southwestern sandwich, which included avocado on it, as well as a taco sandwich—that was a thing?—which included guacamole. He asked for extra guac. A steak sandwich, hold the cheese, extra onions for himself and a nitro chicken for Bran, extra hot sauce. He looked at the order for a moment, and added a buffalo chicken sandwich, a meatball sandwich, and a shrimp poboy. That way there would be plenty and they could chow down any leftovers for a late supper. They could even cut all the sandwiches in half and share so everyone got a good variety, if they all liked what was available. Then he added a dozen mini-doughnuts with powdered sugar to the order for something sweet. They had plenty of drinks already, so he didn’t bother ordering any. A press of the order button, confirm his address, and the pay now option, and lunch was ordered.
“All ordered?” Bran began to play with Jamie’s pretty pink nipples, their boy moaning in his sleep.
“All ordered and paid for. They’ll ring the bell and leave it at the door.” He climbed into bed. “He needs nipple rings, doesn’t he?”
“Mmm… that would be gorgeous.” He admired the ink that covered Jamie’s torso. It was beautiful—whorls of flowers in dozens of different colors. “He obviously likes body mods.”
“Yeah, it’s beautiful, isn’t it? Such a shame he always keeps them hidden.” Silas traced some of the flowers, the back of his hand touching Bran’s warm chest, making him hum.
Jamie’s eyes fluttered, his boy trying to wake up.
“You think he’ll panic when he wakes up?” Silas asked, snuggling up against Jamie’s back, giving him warmth and, hopefully, comfort. It was a lovely cocoon between him and Bran.
“No, maybe embarrassment. He knows he’s safe in his soul.”
“He is. We won’t harm him. And he knows that instinctively.” Silas reached past Jamie to stroke Bran’s cheek, then slid his hand along Jamie’s side to settle it on their boy’s hip.
“Mmm… I should get up and get something accomplished…” Jamie murmured.
God, that was so cute.
“Or you could just lie with us until lunch comes,” Silas suggested, kissing Jamie behind his ear.
“’m not lazy…” Jamie snuggled so well.
“Nobody said you were.” Bran kissed Jamie’s head next to his eye. “This is indulgence, not laziness.”
“Yeah…” Jamie leaned hard. “I can’t believe this.”
No, he guessed most people didn’t do this kind of thing. “We’re not normal,” he suggested, petting Jamie’s hip.
Bran laughed. “How about we go for unique?”
“Fascinating,” he chuckled softly.
“Better.” Bran nodded and pinched Jamie’s right nipple.
Jamie gasped and arched. “Oh!”
“Mmm. Why hello there, boy.” Bran’s head dipped as he shared a kiss with Jamie.
Silas groaned—so very pretty.
Jamie opened up to Bran, body undulating.
And so very sexy—their boy was such a sensual being. It was intoxicating.
Silas was convinced that they were going snatch him up and keep him. How could Jamie not want them as much as they wanted him?
Keeping half an ear open for their food as he didn’t want it sitting on the stoop too long, he spread kisses across Jamie’s back, making note of which patch of skin elicited bigger responses. He would revisit all of Jamie’s sweet spots.
This daisy made Jamie shiver, and scraping his teeth over this rose made him moan. He adored that there was a map with signposts, making it so easy to remember what turned Jamie on the most.
“You’ll have to tell us about the tattoos,” he murmured against Jamie’s lower back.
“They’re a secret. I never show them off.”
He traced the daisy that had made Jamie shiver. “You’re not showing them off now, and we’re good at keeping secrets.” Exceptionally good, if he did say so himself. Well, with others—nothing was secret between him and Bran.
Jamie nodded, moaning softly, nuzzling into his jaw.
He hummed and nuzzled back. Such a sweet boy. “Your secrets are safe with us. I swear.”
“I’m not who you think I am…” Jamie whispered.
Silas frowned, not sure what Jamie was talking about. “Who do we think you are?”
Jamie sighed, sliding away from them, wrapping himself in a sheet. “I used to go by James Starr.”
Oh no, that wouldn’t do. Bran obviously had the same idea, moving to Jamie as he did. Bran stroking Jamie’s cheek as he stroked Jamie’s back. It was only then that the name hit him. “The child actor? In that movie with the dog and the uncle, right? I can’t remember the name of it.”
“It was George and Hank. The movie. And yes. That’s me. I did a six-year stint on Growing Up, plus another four movies.”
Bran nodded. “I see it now. You’re not acting anymore, eh? I understand a lot of child actors leave the business when they grow up.”
“I’ve changed my last name. I don’t show my tattoos. No one knows. No one. I don’t want to have to leave town again.”
“We won’t tell anyone, Jamie,” Bran assured him.
“And that’s not why we’re into you. We didn’t know who you used to be.” Silas rubbed Jamie’s back some more. They wanted who Jamie was now, today, here with them.
“No one can. It’s too dangerous.”
“Stalkers?” Bran asked.
Jamie offered them the barest nod.
Both he and Bran wrapped Jamie in their arms, holding him tight.
“I’m so sorry you’ve been through that, boy. It’s not right.” No wonder his boy needed them, he was hiding, for good reason, and needed a pair of daddies to take care of him.
“You’re safe with us.” Bran leaned back to look Jamie in the eyes. “We don’t want you because of your fame. We want you for you. And we want to protect you from the world.”
Jamie began to cry, silent tears streaking his face.
Silas looked at Bran, stricken. Bran shook his head and mouthed, “I’ve got this.” He held Jamie close and patted his back, murmuring. “It’s okay, Jamie. Let it all out. Let it out.”
“I—I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.” Jamie sniffled and sobbed.
“You haven’t done anything wrong,” he told Jamie, putting his hand on Jamie’s shoulder, letting him know they both were here for him. “When you do, you can apologize.”
“That’s right. You’re safe, and you can relax, baby boy. You can breathe.” Bran kept rocking and holding on.
The doorbell rang, letting them know their food had arrived. Silas ignored it. It could sit on the stoop all night long if that was how long Jamie needed their attention.
Eventually the tears stopped, though, and Silas slipped out to grab their food.
Whoa.
He’d been hungry. His mouth was watering as he brought the bag upstairs to the bedroom.
“Late lunch!” He held up the bags.
Bran smiled. “Yay. I’m starving. We’ll just eat here. Jamie needs a little cuddle time.”
“We all need some cuddle time together, eh?” He slipped back out of his robe and climbed into bed with his lovers. “I ordered sandwiches. I was thinking you’d like the taco one with guacamole? And there’s a chicken with avocados.”
“Th-thanks. I’m sorry for being a psycho. I try not to be.”
“You’ve been holding that in for a long time.” Bran pushed a strand of hair behind Jamie’s ear. “And we want you to know that we’re a safe place for you to bring your truth.”
Silas nodded. “And we will defend you. This is a sanctuary.” Even if Jamie wasn’t their forever boy, that would be true. But he was. And eventually, Jamie would see it too. “Now, munch away. No one can cope with an empty belly.”
Jamie grinned at him, nodded. “Thanks.”
He gave everyone the two sandwiches he’d ordered with them in mind. “You wanna share?”
“I’m open to that.” Bran looked at what he’d ordered for his silver-haired lover. “Oh, these are good choices, thanks, babe.”
“Of course.”
“I’m happy to share,” Jamie offered. “I’m easy.”
Of course he was.
“They’re conveniently already cut in half, too,” Bran noted.
“They are?” He looked at his. “Oh! I got the twelve-inch ones instead of the six-inch ones. Ooops.” Good thing they were all hungry. And of course, his plan of leftovers for when they got hungry later in the evening still worked. “They’ll be great for later. We’ll all share.”
“I’ll have to go home soon, do some writing, clean my clothes for work.”
“Oh.” He didn’t know why he felt so disappointed, he’d known Jamie wouldn’t be staying forever. Not yet, anyway.
“Why don’t you go get your clothing and your writing and come back here,” Bran suggested. “We’ll throw your work clothes in the washer, and you can get set up for the writing. That way we all get to spend a night together.”
His lover was so smart.
“We can even drive you over. That way you don’t have to walk with your laptop,” he offered.
“You don’t mind?” Oh, perfect.
“Wouldn’t have offered if we did. We can do it after we’ve eaten.” And before they got distracted by all this lovely nakedness and decided to go for more orgasms before they got Jamie back here for the evening and night.
Then they’d learn what Jamie’s schedule was and help him get back to work.
For now, they’d eat their very late lunch.
