8. Bodey

CHAPTER 8

Bodey

A nger has me seeing red, my vision focusing on Paulie's face as he tries to weasel his way out of karma.

"Terese and Louis Scarpella!" Paulie screeches at the top of his lungs.

I am a man of my word, but still, there's a price to pay. Three quick jabs of my blade into the side of his gut, piercing his liver and intestines, leave him bleeding profusely as I get off him.

"You said you'd let him live!" Debbie shouts and dashes to his side.

"He is living, and I suggest you call him an ambulance if you want to keep him alive. Let's go, Summer." I turn to her, waiting to see the fear, the rejection, but all I see is lust and desire in her eyes.

Fuck, she's perfect. My kind of perfect.

I hold my hand out to her that she takes, stepping over Paulie's bleeding body as her mother cries over her husband. There's a pile of five bikers slumped beside their hogs as we walk to my car, and I open the door for Summer to slide into the passenger seat.

My soldiers approach me, my eyes looking at the men unconscious by the motorcycles.

"Are they?" I ask.

"No, sir. The five others around the back are, but they're being handled. Is there anything else you need?"

"No. Thank you all. I'll be sure my father knows how helpful you were," I tell them as I circle to get behind the driver's seat.

"Who are you?" Summer asks.

"Bortolo Dante Calisi-Scarpella." I tell her as we hit the road, heading north, away from Atlantic City. "The kid I helped protect in prison, the nephew of Don Louis Scarpella, is actually my cousin. I was never supposed to get out of prison. Paulie twisted you into pointing me out to the District Attorney all those years ago because I started working for my own father, unknowingly."

"How did you find out?"

"When Nicky Orso made parole, he had his uncle, my real father, pull some strings to get me out. When he brought me to the home of Louis and Terese Scarpella, my mother recognized me almost immediately. I had no idea who they were, and after several blood tests, we talked. Paulie was supposed to kidnap me for some rival boss. I was three or four, but unfortunately, my father got to the rival boss before I did. Paulie couldn't get his money, so he kept me, and I paid for it every day since."

"You should have killed him," she mumbles and looks out of the window.

"He's going to die. I only wanted to return the favor of giving him very similar scars to the ones he gave me."

Summer reaches over, touching my hand on the gearshift between us. "I hate that you had to go through that. I hate that I had anything to do with Paulie."

"I was ready to make you pay for what I felt you deserved, but after some thought, I decided to free you from those maniacs instead. I had no intention of keeping you with me, Summer, and the choice is still yours."

"You belong to me, remember? I get to keep the son of Louis Scarpella in my clutches." She smirks as her hand moves off mine and onto my cock. "In my mouth?"

She unzips my pants, pulling my growing erection out of my pants. Before I can resist, she wraps her mouth around the tip, letting her tongue swirl and flick the head. I don't want to crash, so I pull over to the shoulder of this back road off the main highway.

Summer's head slides up and down. Her mouth gets wetter with every pass of her mouth along my shaft. My pulse races, and my hips move into a grinding motion for her to suck me off from the passenger seat.

I use the controls on the side of the seat to recline and move back to give her room. My hand reaches over to slide into the back of her jeans while she continues to work her magical mouth over me. I slip my hand between her ass, grabbing her pussy and slipping my finger inside of it from behind. The sound of her desire is like music to my ears. Her whimpers of the orgasm escaping her body vibrate against me and threaten to have me come down her throat.

I pull her face away and my hand out of her jeans. "Take those off now."

She doesn't hesitate to do what I say as she wriggles out of her pants and slides over the middle console to inch herself onto me. I push deep inside of her heat. Her blonde strands fall to one side as my fingers slide between them, bringing her face close to me, locking our connection with a kiss. We move together, with her creaming all over me until I'm ready to release every drop inside of her.

Our tongues taste one another, swirling in unison as Summer rides me over the cliff of pleasure and bliss. My cock throbs inside of her, and she stifles my moans of release with her tongue and kiss.

"In my heart," Summer whispers and smiles. "Bortolo Dante Calisi-Scarpella belongs to me, and I belong to him. You'll have to add an S to those initials, Bodey. Oh shit, Bo … Dee. Paulie's such a scumbag. You should have killed him."

I run my fingers over the small quarter-sized bandaid that's covering my knife's work. She sucks in a breath through clenched teeth as I tell her with a laugh, "You said that already. Besides, seeing the fear in his eyes, holding his life in my hands, suddenly, he didn't seem worthy of my blade's instant death. He only shortened my name, not creative enough to truly change it. As it turns out, Bodey is what my mother's called me since birth."

"I can't believe he stole you from your family."

I cup her beautiful face in my hands. "But he got me to you as a new one. Marry me, Summer."

"You're insane." She scoffs and moves off me, back to the passenger seat.

"I'm determined not to let another minute pass where I don't do what I want or go after what I want. I deserve the world, and I want you with me as I explore the new one ahead of me. There are a ton of perks to being the found son of a billionaire mob boss. Come home with me, Summer."

"What about my mother?"

"She has those duffle bags of money. If she's smart, she'll leave them with Paulie and call you."

"And if she's not?"

"If your mother's not smart enough to give up a morsel of money I tossed at her abusive husband's feet for a lifetime with her daughter and a future beyond her imagination, she doesn't deserve to be in it with us. Marry me."

Summer reaches across to stroke the side of my face before reaching into my pocket to pull out the knife I stabbed Paulie with. "Will you let me put matching initials on you?"

"Anywhere you want, just not with that. We need to get rid of that knife, too. No sense in keeping evidence of a crime."

She smiles. "Drive, Bodey. Take me home, to your home. I'll marry you. I'll explore the world with you. I'll even destroy evidence for you."

I do as she tells me, driving north toward a private airport where we'll board a jet and take off into a new life together.
