33. Epilogue Two
Five Years Later
I am Dmitriy Igorovich Leonov.
As the eldest son of the Pakhan, the great Lev (Lion), of the feared Borisov Bratva, at the young age of nineteen, I have already established a reputation for myself. My father, recognizing my potential, has entrusted me with a position in his elite group within the Bratva.
I draw inspiration from my dyadya (uncle), Ilya, who excels in the art of torture. Under his guidance, I have honed my skills and strive to surpass his expertise. With time, I will lead this Bratva alongside my younger brothers, Vasily and Maksim, once they are of age. Until then, I eagerly absorb every lesson my father and uncles offer.
The future of our family and the Bratva rests upon our shoulders, and I am determined to make my father proud. Despite not having to, he raised me as his own, and on that fateful day, God blessed me with family and purpose.
I will carry the weight of my heritage with pride and honor. The path that lies ahead is challenging, as the Bratva is a realm of peril and shadows. However, I have been trained for this life, equipped to navigate the treacherous waters of organized crime.
Each day, I learn to be ruthless yet strategic, to be cunning yet loyal. The code of the Bratva runs through my veins, and I will stop at nothing to protect its interests and maintain its power. The loyalty and respect of my comrades are of utmost importance, for without their support, I am nothing.
In this world, trust is a rare commodity, and betrayal lurks in every corner. I have seen the consequences of weakness and disloyalty, and I vow never to succumb to such weaknesses. My father's faith in me is a testament to my abilities, and I will prove myself worthy of his trust.
As I strive to surpass my uncle's expertise in the art of torture, I understand the necessity of cruelty in our line of work. Yet, I am not without compassion. I recognize that power must be wielded responsibly, and I will not allow myself to become a monster. The line between justice and brutality is thin, and I must tread carefully.
With time, I will rise through the ranks, leading the Borisov Bratva with the same fierce compassion my father has. My brothers, Vasily and Maksim, will join me, and together, we will ensure the legacy of our family endures.
I will make my father proud, and I will lead the Bratva with unyielding resolve. The future of our family and the Bratva rests upon our shoulders, and I am ready to embrace the challenges that lie ahead.
