Chapter Eighteen

Creed

“You two don’t have anything better to do?” Tatum asked, glancing between Murphy and me.

Murphy shook his head. “You know you guys aren’t going to be left alone.”

Tatum put her hands on her hips. “So both of you need to be here?”

I glanced at Murphy and shrugged. “I’m not going anywhere.” It had been a week since Jada and I had hooked up, and I sure as hell wasn’t going to be away from her unless I needed to be.

We were all at a standstill until Candace showed her ugly mug. I figured I might as well spend my time with Jada until that happened.

“I don’t got shit to do either,” Murphy sighed.

Tatum threw her hands in the air. “Well, then let’s go get coffee. Jada and I have to do inventory this afternoon, and I always need a good caffeine jolt to get me through.”

Murphy and Tatum exchanged a glance and then walked out the door, their footsteps echoing through the quiet shop. The bell above the door dinged as they left, and I turned my attention back to the shop.

“Creed,” Jada called. “Can you come help me?”

I pushed off the counter and headed toward Jada’s office.

“I’m in the historical section,” she called.

I veered off to the left and found Jada in the last row of floor-to-ceiling bookshelves. She was putting a few books on the shelves, and I moved behind her, looping my arms around her waist and pulling her back to my front. “What are you up to, gorgeous?” I whispered.

She hummed under her breath and turned her head to press a kiss to my lips. “Is someone here?”

I shook my head and slipped my hand under her shirt. “Tatum and Murphy went to go get coffee.”

“Yeah?” she whispered, pressing her ass into my dick and tossing her head to the side, exposing her neck to me.

“You missed me, gorgeous?” I asked. I press a trail of kisses to her neck, and a moan escaped her lips.

She nodded, her breathing quickening.

“How long do you think we have until they’re back?” I asked.

“Ten minutes?” Jada guessed.

“And if anyone comes in, the bell will ring, right?” I whispered against her skin.

“Yes,” she sighed.

That was the only thing I needed to hear. “Drop your pants, bend over, and hold onto the bookshelf in front of you,” I ordered.

Jada’s breath hitched, but she did what I asked. She undid her pants and let them fall to her ankles before bending over, gripping the edge of the bookshelf.

I dropped my pants to my ankles and stroked my cock while I watched her bend over in front of me. “We gotta be quick, gorgeous.” I smoothed my hand over her supple ass and stepped toward her.

She looked at me over her shoulder, her eyes dark with need. “Fuck me, Creed,” she ordered.

I positioned myself behind her, sliding my cock against her wetness before thrusting inside her. The sensation was electrifying, and I gripped her hips, setting a fast, hard pace.

Jada’s moans filled the small space between the bookshelves, her fingers clutching the edges of the shelf. I leaned over her, my lips finding the curve of her neck, nipping and sucking at her sensitive skin.

“God, you feel so good,” I groaned, my hands sliding up her shirt to cup her breasts, teasing her nipples.

She pushed back against me, meeting my thrusts with equal fervor. “Creed,” she gasped, her voice laced with urgency.

The risk of being caught added to the thrill, making each movement, each thrust, even more intense. The sound of our bodies coming together was almost drowned out by her moans and my grunts of pleasure.

I felt her walls tighten around me, and I knew she was close. I reached down between her legs, finding her clit, and rubbed in quick, tight circles.

“Come for me, Jada,” I whispered in her ear, my voice rough with desire.

Her body tensed, and she cried out, her orgasm washing over her in powerful waves. The sensation pushed me over the edge, and I followed her, my own release shuddering through me.

We stayed there for a moment, both of us breathing heavily, lost in the aftermath. I slowly pulled out of her, pressing a kiss to her back before helping her straighten up and fix her clothes.

“That was...” Jada started, still catching her breath.

“Amazing,” I finished for her, a satisfied smile spreading across my face.

She nodded, her cheeks flushed. “I don’t think I’ll ever find the historical section boring again.”

We adjusted our clothes and stepped out from behind the bookshelves, both of us trying to regain some semblance of normalcy. The bell above the door dinged again, and I glanced over to see Tatum and Murphy walking back in, each carrying a cup of coffee.

“Everything okay?” Tatum asked, eyeing us suspiciously.

“Just fine,” I replied, wrapping an arm around Jada’s waist and pulling her close. “We were just getting a little... inventory done.”

Tatum raised an eyebrow but didn’t press further. Murphy just shook his head and laughed, clearly amused by the situation.

“Do you think they know?” Jada whispered.

Oh, they knew what we had just done, but I didn’t care.

It didn’t matter where we were; if I had the chance to have Jada, I was going to take it.
