Chapter 6
CHAPTER 6
Chase
What's been hiding underneath the entire time.
K yler and I go after the girls, wanting to make sure Ruby's okay. I'm fucking livid at what Cassie just did and want the girl to burn in hell. She's no longer invited to my party tonight. After that stunt, I don't want her in my house or anywhere near Ruby.
The girls come out of the locker room, Presley now wearing her gym clothes. I look toward Ruby, and she's dressed in what Presley wore to school. "Damn!" I swallow hard, my eyes traveling down her frame. I'm fucking shocked by what I'm seeing. "Did you know the recluse was rocking that body under all those baggy clothes she usually wears?"
Phew…my dick is actually getting hard for the girl. She has some major curves and a huge set of tits. My mind is fucking blown. She's been hiding one sexy-as-hell body under all those baggy clothes.
"You girls okay?" Kyler asks as we approach.
Up close, it's getting even harder not to stare. I just can't get over it. And I don't understand. A girl with her face and her body would have the guys lining up for a date, but our entire time in school together, she's dressed the part of the loser, acted as awkward as her weird outfits. Always keeping to herself. Never speaking to anyone. When all this time, Ruby could've been at the top of the food chain, sitting right alongside Cassie. Actually, I take that back. Ruby is a hundred times sexier and has a much better personality.
Shit. I'm so fucking shocked.
"Cassie's a bitch," Presley states. "And I'm going to castrate her social status."
Kyler shakes his head. "Don't worry, babe. She's done. I promise you."
He can say that again. That was the final straw. And now, I'm going to overthrow the queen and hand the crown over to the biggest loser in the school. We'll see how Cassie likes the way it feels to be the loser. A snotty attitude is one thing. Bullying? No fucking way.
"You okay, Ruby?" I ask, trying to get my tongue back into my mouth. "I'm sorry for what happened back there. For what it's worth, the only one who looked like a fool was Cassie." She didn't just look like a fool, she looked like an evil witch. I don't think anyone's ever seen that side of her before. Clearly, my warning about Ruby becoming the queen unlocked her anger, and she attacked. Little did she know, I was there to witness it. And I'm not going to stand for it.
"Oh…um… Thank you, Chase. That's nice of you to say."
Ruby's cheeks turn bright red, and it makes her look even prettier. There's something about her soft-spoken shyness that is suddenly calling to me. After what just happened to her, I'd expect her to be crumpled in tears or rushing home, but she's standing strong, and I find that to be super sexy.
"I'm disinviting her to my party tonight," I say, giving Kyler a look. "So, you and Presley don't have to worry about her being there."
"Thanks," the awkward girl says, and now red blotches are running up her neck. For some strange reason, my dick starts to pulse at the sight. "I need to go do something before class, so I'm going to run." And run is practically what she does as she takes off down the hall. I watch her retreat, shamefully checking out her backside, seeing that it's just as curvy as the rest of her. I still can't get over how incredible her body is. It's a damn shame she's been hiding it.
"I'm going to go tell Cassie the news." I turn to Kyler. "Make sure she knows not to show her face tonight."
Kyler tips his head, and then I go in hunt of the one who just made the biggest mistake.
She's coming out of the cafeteria with Mindy and Taya flanked at her sides. For now, I won't disinvite them to the party. I want them to go back and tell Cassie all about what she missed out on. I want Cassie feeling her jealous envy from every angle.
"Ladies," I say, stopping the three in their tracks. I pin my glare on the one in the middle, who I can't even stand the sight of anymore. "You're done, Cass. That shit you pulled was mean. Not sure what makes you think you're so special and that you can treat people like that, but now, you're going to pay. You're not welcome at my party tonight. Bullies aren't the type I care to associate with." I turn to the other two. "Better be careful with the company you keep, or you'll be joining her at the losers table."
I step around them, going right into the cafeteria to make sure everyone else knows exactly where Cassie stands in our book. By the end of day, word will be spread throughout the entire school, and the reigning queen will no longer be revered as she once was.
