Chapter 36

The Lady And The Laird
W illiam took Dakota's hand. "It is nice to be alone finally."
"Aye, it is. I've been lookin' forward to havin' ye to meself."
"Well, ye have me all to yerself now."
"Aye, I do."
Dakota leaned in and kissed the man whom she now had alone. The last few days had been a whirlwind of people coming and going, and the Laird had been busy sorting everything out, but things were calm again.
That meant they could finally take some time for just the two of them. They walked hand in hand through the castle gardens, enjoying the colors of the blooming flowers.
Dakota took a deep breath. She always enjoyed coming out here and smelling the flowers the gardeners had planted. There were plots used to grow herbs and some root vegetables for the castle kitchens, and they had a rich, earthy smell.
"Och, I cannae wander around with ye in the gardens, nae matter how enjoyable it is," said William after they had walked in silence for a while.
"No?" asked Dakota, confused.
"All I can think about is runnin' me hands all over yer body. We have all the time in the world to be romantic, but I cannae think of bein' romantic with ye right now. All I can think about is yer soft skin and—"
"Shh!" giggled Dakota. "Someone is goin' to hear ye talk like this."
"I daenae care! I will tell the whole world if I have to."
"Well, ye daenae have to, me love! Ye can tell me and that will be good enough."
"The how about we go back to our room, and I will nae just tell ye, but show ye?"
Dakota felt her cheeks flush, and the racing of her heart was almost loud enough to hear. "Aye, I would like that."
She had been dreaming of touching him all over and being touched by his strong hands and soft lips. That was exciting enough to make her burst. If there were no people around, she might try to rip his clothes from his body .
The Laird took her hand and led her quickly back into the castle from the gardens. There was a sense of urgency in his movements, and she could only keep up because he had a tight hold of her—both her hand and her heart. He took her to the bedroom, the bedroom they now shared, and closed the door behind them.
Every time they had been together felt insignificant compared to what was to come—each of those moments had been leading up to this one.
The Laird stood with his back to the door, and he gazed at Dakota with a smile . He took her in, his eye straying from head to toe, and she felt desired by him. The feeling was very much reciprocated.
William moved forward quickly and took her head in his hands. He pressed his lips into hers hard, the passion rising between them. He moved his head back, taking her in once more, and he pressed forward again, but this time, his tongue probed between her lips and into her mouth.
Dakota let out a soft moan as his tongue licked at hers. She closed her lips a little and sucked on his supple tongue. She could feel her body aching for the Laird to touch her, to please, pleasure her.
"I cannae believe I get ye all to meself at long last," she moaned, coming apart from him. "I thought I had lost ye."
"We willnae be apart ever again."
William stepped forward again, but he did not kiss Dakota this time. He turned her around and very slowly untied the ribbons holding her dress. When they were all undone, he slipped the dress from her shoulders and let it fall to the floor. He kissed her shoulder through her linen chemise, sending a small shiver of pleasure running through her body.
Dakota felt ready to burst. She longed for his touch but worried that she would not be able to hold on for long. Just the thought of the Laird touching her, being inside her, kissing her was too much to bear, and the tingling had started in her warm garden.
The Laird reached down and took the hem of the chemise, lifting it over Dakota's head. There was an open window, and while no chill was entering the room, the breeze still rippled her skin, tossing up goose pimples.
That was remedied a moment later by the Laird. He engulfed her with his strong arms, wrapping one around her stomach and the other around her breasts. Dakota leaned her head back, resting it on William's shoulder, exposing her neck. He bent down and kissed the creamy skin, sending tingling bolts through her torso.
She took hold of both his arms and pressed them into her, feeling secure in his grasp.
William kissed her once more on the neck before he turned her around to face him again. He kissed her neck on the other side and then gently kissed her lips.
Dakota worked at his shirt, starting at the top and working her way own until she could pull it aside and reveal his glorious chest. She touched at the wounds that were mostly healed. He would have a scar on his stomach, but the others would not leave a mark. She kissed the scratch on his shoulder.
William took her head in his hands again and brought her back up. "I cannae last this long without kissin' ye again."
He pressed his lips to hers again, and she worked at his belt buckle this time. His trousers fell to the floor a moment later, followed by his underwear. William kicked them off and pulled his wife into him.
Dakota reveled in the warmth as her naked body pressed against his, and she almost exploded. It was far too much to deal with—the emotion of almost losing him and now having him back in her arms. She could not describe the pulsing wave of emotion deep in her stomach that threatened to overwhelm her.
She would let it—discover what it brought as it engulfed her. She finally had her husband to herself, and the pleasure he brought her was immeasurable. What would the pleasure be when they finally made love?
She ran her hands up and down his back, stopping to draw her fingers over the definition of his muscles. And, all the time, she was very aware of his weapon growing longer and thicker between them.
When it got too much, she burst out into laughter.
"What is so funny?" asked William.
"I daenae ken. It is nae that it is funny; I am just happy, William."
"Aye, me too."
"Aye, I can see that very clearly." Dakota looked down between William's thick thighs. "Make love to me, William."
William smiled. He took Dakota by the waist and led her backward to the bed. He lifted her and laid her down on the soft mattress. He moved forward, pushing her up the mattress until she was fully on it.
"I am yers," whispered Dakota. "How I have waited for this moment."
William smiled again. He placed a hand on her chest and gently pushed her down until she was laid before him. He lowered his head and tenderly kissed her breasts around the nipples, moving from one mound of creamy flesh to the other.
When he kissed her neck once more, Dakota let out a soft whimper. She wanted it to happen soon, but the waiting enhanced everything.
The Laird's lips moved down to her navel and then her sides. Each time he kissed her down there, her body jolted slightly. He kissed around her sacred garden and her inner thighs. The anticipation built until she could bear it no longer, and she could feel her body ready to accept him.
He did not tease her for too much longer. He brought his lips and tongue back up her body, and they kissed again. Their tongues moved together, only touching each other as they enjoyed and savored the pleasure.
Dakota reached out with both arms, running her fingers over the soft sheets. She opened up her body for William to take it.
William moved his hands to take hers and pinned her down to the bed, sliding his member into her without shifting or guiding it. Dakota writhed as he entered her and slid fully in until they were like one.
"Aye," whispered Dakota.
It was like touching the stars. She felt as if she had taken a bright star in each hand and held them tight. His manhood inside her was a large wave surging toward the shore. She did not know what heaven would be like, but if it was anything like this, she could not wait to get there.
Although, she would very much like to make love to William again and again first.
William smiled once more. It was nice to see him smile so much. He lifted his hips, taking himself half out of Dakota, and plunged back down again. He shifted his hands to give himself more leverage on the bed, and Dakota grabbed the sheets, holding them tight as the pleasure flowed through her.
Again, William shifted his hips up, taking himself partially out of her before he plunged down again to fill her with his large, quivering member. They did not lock lips this time, staring into each other's eyes instead.
The feeling was different for Dakota this time. It felt like all the pleasure and joy they would share in the future was spilling into her at once—it was overwhelming, but it was welcome. It was a feeling that she would never be able to describe, even if she had a thousand years to do so. She could feel what he did to her, but it was not something that she could put into words.
"Please daenae stop," moaned Dakota.
William plunged harder and faster this time. He grunted as he pushed his stomach into hers, and Dakota tightened her grasp on the sheets. He kissed her gently and pulled back a little again. Dakota looked up into pools of blue, and it felt like waterfalls were cascading down upon her.
The water was warm—it was engulfing her. The Laird had pleasured her many times, but this made all previous times wither. This was something new and special. As her climax approached, she knew it would take her body somewhere else, a place of sublime ecstasy.
She pulled on the sheets and pushed her core up to meet William.
"Aye," she whispered. "Aye, give me everything."
William thrust down again, and it brought a smile to Dakota's face. It was magnificent!
When William's stomach tensed against hers, she knew he was close too, and she finally let go of her tensed muscles.
"Aye," he gasped.
She moved her hands from the sheets to his back, then down to his rear.
The Laird grunted and closed his eyes as he plowed her, and Dakota smiled as she let go and the vibrations overtook her being.
"Aye!" she shouted.
William grunted like a wild animal.
"Aye, aye," gasped Dakota.
William quickened his thrusts, and a moment later, he erupted. Dakota had never experienced a better feeling than that one. She felt his member jerk and quiver inside her, and a stream of warmth filled her up.
And another, and another, and another.
Dakota lost control of her body, and she quivered like an arrow bending and snapping as it flew through the air, and it hit her between her thighs. Her core thrust into the air and into William as the emotion filled her eyes with tears.
Dakota gripped her husband and held him atop and inside her as the quivering and pulsing slowly quietened.
She was nearly breathless as she uttered, "Nay, daenae move, me love. I want to feel yer warmth for a while."
"I love ye," said William.
"I love ye too."
They lay in silence, William atop Dakota. She could feel his breathing start to slow, which helped calm her. She took slow breaths as the emotion ran through every fiber of her being. She was not scared of the world with this man by her side (or lying on top of her). She did not even need to hear that he loved her, as nice as it was—he displayed his love for her to see.
Dakota turned her head and kissed William. "Do ye want a lot of children? I ken we havenae talked about it."
"I dinnae ken before, but I ken now with certainty. So much held me back in the past, but I have found the right lass to start a family with—our own wee clan within our clan. Aye, I want a lot of children with ye, Dakota."
Dakota rubbed her husband's back. "I never thought much about a family before, let alone a large one, but I want that with ye."
"Aye," smiled William. "And a boy to start it all."
"A boy?" Dakota raised an eyebrow. "How can ye tell?"
"I daenae ken—I just feel it."
"Aye," smiled Dakota. "A boy will be nice. And he will be loved more than anyone in the world."
William placed his lips gently on Dakota's, and they smiled together as they kissed.
