18. Luke
Unable to sleep knowing Ally would be in his home the next night, Luke wandered through the house to make sure everything was set up how he wanted. He set a basket in the living room stocked with diapers, wipes, and powder for the times she needed a change while watching a movie or playing.
He wandered down the hall to the room closest to his. Opening the door, he flipped on the light. He scanned the unfinished nursery and smiled. When he had moved to the small town, he planned on having a nursery. He figured the nursery could be a playroom for Littles who he might meet online and have casual encounters with, but so far, he hadn't even gone online looking for a play partner.
From the first day he'd met Ally, he hadn't thought about any other women or the possibility of wanting to meet any other woman. He knew he didn't just want a casual relationship with Ally, but he also knew that whatever relationship he had with her, it needed to be real. He hoped she would embrace being a baby girl and come to love it over time. He knew being a Little was difficult for some. It was even embarrassing at times, but he had also heard other Littles say it was freeing and enjoyable more than embarrassing.
For whatever reason, he loved the embarrassing parts. He loved that his Little had to share every piece of her with him, no matter how intimate. The look in a Littles eye when she used her diaper fully was something he could never get enough of. The adorable shyness that washed over them was just so pure and innocent. Most of all, he loved when a Little entrusted their entire care to him and let him protect and take care of her in all possible ways.
He pictured Ally with that innocent look on her face and his cock hardened. Shaking his head, he knew he needed to get some work done in the nursery before he slept. He wanted it to be perfect for his Little girl when she came.
Realizing he had just thought of Ally as his Little girl, Luke blinked back the wetness in his eyes. He already thought of her as his and felt possessive over her. He had no idea when he had started thinking that way about her, but he did, and there was no going back now.
Melissa had hurt him so badly. She had tricked him into believing she was something she wasn't just to get something in return. When he didn't cave to her wants, she stomped on his heart like it meant nothing. But Ally didn't know that he was wealthy. He had a nice big home, but it was cozy, not some extravagant mansion.
Ally had no idea he had enough money to buy the entire town if he wanted. Luke had to remind himself that there wasn't an ulterior motive with her. She was genuine in every way. Unlike Melissa, who had seemed so controlled, and now that he thought about it, fake, even from the beginning. Luke had been too blind and excited to find a potential Little to notice the blaring red flag. Ally was the complete opposite of Melissa, in all the best ways.
Fumbling around with the stuffed animals in the oversized crib, Luke smiled, trying to arrange them the same way on the mattress that she had hers arranged when he saw them. He had sensed her Little side the first night he went to her house. He just hoped she would decide she wanted to be his Little and his baby girl, too. He didn't think he would be able to let go of Ally once he had her. The connection he felt with her was already stronger than any connection he and Melissa had at any point in their relationship.
His mood sank instantly at the thought of Melissa. She had begun emailing him, giving him sob story after sob story. She told him she couldn't live without him and apologized for how she treated him before. She offered to be his Little girl again, which pissed him the fuck off. She wasn't a Little. Not even close. She was a complete fraud. His Ally was the real deal. Sweet and kind with a sassy streak. But she was the most genuine person he'd ever met.
He ignored her emails and texts, but every time he got one from her, his mind went to a place so dark, it scared even him for thinking the thoughts that he had. She would never be a part of his life again. The last time he had talked to Kane, he found out that his investigation of Mike had turned into an investigation of her as well. It didn't really surprise him. Melissa was bad news and probably a con artist of some sort. Kane would figure out whatever was going on. The man didn't miss much.
The next day, work dragged on. It was snowing again, and the weatherman's forecast called for non-stop snow for the next several days. Luke was relieved that Ally would be home with him and not by herself during a snowstorm. He didn't want her driving in that kind of weather, even with her new tires.
He loved this time of year as it got closer to Christmas. Luke reminded himself he still needed to get a tree. He would take his Little girl to hunt for a Christmas tree and make it a fun day for her. It made him sad when he saw her undecorated home. She seemed to love the lights and storefronts that were heavily decorated for the season. He noticed every time they drove past them that she always watched in awe as he drove down Main Street.
He wondered what she did during the holidays. He knew she was an only child, and her parents were gone, but he didn't know if she had any other family to spend Christmas with. The thought of her spending Christmas alone made his heart ache. He would make sure she never felt alone again.
Pulling up to her house, Luke jogged to the door and knocked. Before he finished knocking, the door opened and Ally looked up at him, her big green eyes sparkling. His breath caught in his throat as he looked down at the beautiful woman in front of him. She was as perfect as anything he had ever seen before.
"Hi, baby girl."
Ally smiled shyly. "Hi."
She opened the door further to let him inside. Her bags sat on the floor, and it made him feel good that it looked as though she packed enough to stay for a while. If he had it his way, she would never leave.
"Is this it, baby? Do you need anything else?" he asked as he picked up the bags to carry to the car.
Ally looked around and thought.
"Should I bring my pacifier?" she asked, her cheeks blushing as she asked.
Luke's cock twitched at the knowledge that she had her own pacifier. She was more of a Little than he realized, and it pleased him immensely.
"Daddy has lots of pacifiers, bottles, and everything you could ever need as a Little, but why don't you go grab your pacifier, too, so it doesn't get lonely here without you."
Ally smiled and padded down the hall to her bedroom. Luke took her bags to the car and when he came back into the house, Ally was grabbing her purse and shutting off lights.
"Pacifier?" he asked, holding out his hand for her to hand it to him.
She looked up at him, her face turning red with embarrassment as she reached into her purse and pulled out a plain, light pink, adult-sized pacifier. He was pleased to see that she had bought one that was sized for her. It meant she had shopped online for it, and not just picked up a pacifier from the baby section of a store. He wondered what else she shopped for online.
Luke pocketed the pacifier and held out his hand for Ally. "Come on, baby girl, let's go home before the snow gets too bad."
Ally hesitated briefly before taking his hand and following him out to the car. When she climbed into the seat of the car, Luke buckled her in before she had the chance to do it herself and kissed her forehead.
