She was just supposed to be a ranch hand.

Not the object of my obsession.

I’ve lived long enough to know better. Been married. Raised a son.

Love’s in the past. Or at least it should be.

But Claire is making me question everything.

She’s got me wanting things I shouldn’t want.

The way she looks at me, the way she teases…I know she feels it, too.

But I can’t go there. It’s wrong. It’s dangerous.
