13. Allison

"Areyou sure this is what you want?" I asked, gazing into Allison's beautiful eyes.

"I love you, and I need to have hot, sweaty sex with you. Every fiber of my being yearns for your touch, for you to be deep inside me," I confessed.

"You have all of me, sweetheart," he assured me.

His scent enveloped me as his hands traced down my body. Thoughts fled, replaced by the pounding of my blood in my ears. I met Ghost halfway, rising onto my tiptoes as his warm lips met mine. He kissed me fervently, igniting a hunger within me that mirrored his own.

His tongue delved into my mouth. Unreserved fire and passion met him head-on. His fingers tangled in my hair, and he pressed his mouth to mine. My body melted against him. Hunger surged inside us. When we landed on the bed, he was careful not to crush my body under his. He held himself over me.

"No, I want to feel your skin touching mine," I murmured. The touch of his hands, so warm on my skin, sent shivers straight to my core and made me ache, and a soft gasp escaped my lips. He gathered me into his arms and turned on his side, as our bodies came together.

Ghost kissed my neck and gazed into my eyes. "We are going to take our time, sweetheart, so lay back, and let's savor each other."

His hand trailed over my hip, eliciting a gasp of pleasure as he pressed against me. I ran my hands over his chest, feeling the tension in his muscles.

His hand slipped between my thighs, and I cried out on a half sob of pleasure as he touched delicate, aching flesh as his fingers entered me.

All I could feel was his touch. All I knew was the heat and the need that moved through my body. I was speechless, nearly mindless. When he entered me, I thought I would perish lying under him as he made passionate love to me. I surrendered to his passionate lovemaking, crying out his name.

"I have lovedyou all my life. Now we'll spend forever together," I whispered to Allison, kissing her until we were both breathless. We made love until exhaustion claimed us, and then we slept.

I woke to Allison nestled against me. Pulling her soft body close, we made love again and again. I couldn't get enough of her. "Next time, we'll take our time making love," I promised. "I lose my hold on control when I'm with you."

"Next time? I'm reeling from the first time," she teased, snuggling close before drifting off to sleep. Watching her, I marveled at her beauty, inside and out. I loved this woman my entire adult life, and I would love her until my last breath. I got up and showered before climbing back into bed.

Opening my eyes, I found Allison watching me. "Hey, sweetheart."

"I'm sorry for the six years of misery I put us through. I was foolish, and I thought I couldn't fix it. But I never stopped loving you, even when I pretended not to," she confessed.

"All that matters is that we're together. I will never stop loving you. We've always belonged together. We'll have children and grandchildren and spend our time telling them stories.

"I love you too," she said, wiping her eyes on the sheet.

Someone knocked on the door. "I hate to disturb you two, but Raider is here. Ghost, you and Raider are leaving for California in an hour."

"Damn, I forgot about that," I said, kissing Allison again before climbing out of bed. She got up and walked to the bathroom. I watched her every move as she got in the shower. I stripped my pants off and followed her.

"I wish you didn't have to leave," Allison said as we dressed.

"I wish I didn't have to leave, either. We never go in ones. It's always safer in pairs," I explained.

"I know everything about Delta Force Team. I used to interrogate your team members endlessly. But every time you left on a mission, I was terrified. When you were shot, and Gabe found you, I thought I would lose you. I used to come into your hospital room and check on you all the time while you were sleeping," Allison confessed.

"I was awake most of those times you visited. I didn't want you to leave," I admitted.

"Did you know I kissed you?"

"I knew," I replied.

"We're not hiding anymore. I'll kiss you whenever I want, no matter who's around," she declared.

"Absolutely, sweetheart. Let's go tell everyone that you remember everything."

"Sorry for being late," I apologized as I entered the kitchen. Pouring coffee for Allison and me, I announced, "Allison regained her memory back, and we're still together."

Ignoring Spartan's chuckle, I checked our schedule. I walked over and looked at our schedule for the next month. I looked at Spartan. "Rebel and Reaper leave tomorrow for Italy, so you'll be here to guard Benni and Amy, that won't work, so Viper can go with Reaper, and Rebel can stay here with you."

"I know our saying is we always stay in twos, but I can keep an eye on Benni and Amy on my own," Spartan declared.

"I'm sure you can, but we are not going to change what we have. I'll call Viper before I leave. I need to get my things together," Allison picked up her cup and followed me back into the bedroom. I pulled her in for a long kiss goodbye.

"I'll miss you," she murmured, hugging me.

"Next time I come home, we"ll have a month together for our honeymoon," I promised.

"That sounds perfect, I can't wait," she smiled.
