11. Troy

I'd been hangingdecorations all over my parents' place since I walked through the door.

Well, not before my mom was satisfied that I hadn't starved myself while at college, and my brother teased me about my size, saying I wouldn't have a problem scoring hookups now that I looked a lot more like him.

They say you can't pick your family, but despite the ribbing and the all-too-extra love I received, I would pick them every time.

"Look who's here," Mom said, coming into the living room.

"Toy! Toy!"

I put down the decoration faster than you could say excitable child and picked up my nephew. "Hey, Miles. Look at you so big."

He put his tiny hands on my face and pursed his lips for his version of a kiss.

"I missed you too, little dude."

"There's a round of coffee coming up for anyone who needs it," Mom said from the kitchen.

I tickled Miles's tummy. "Who do you think needs it more? Daddy or Papa?"

"Papa. Papa."

I laughed. "You're right. Your daddy runs on cupcakes, and your papa runs after your daddy."

"You're not wrong there, honey." Tom came in holding a cake box. It was too small to be the birthday cake, and knowing him, he was starting a new family tradition called the pre-celebration-cake cake.

"Hi, Tom."

"Hi, sweetheart. Do you mind keeping an eye on him? There's so much to do, and he's been a little fussy today. You know the whole It's my party and I'll cry if I want to?" He straightened Miles's blond hair. "He's got that part down."

"Leave him with me. I'll show him my LEGO collection. As soon as I can grab a coffee." And then I whispered, "Dad is taking this whole fitness thing way too seriously. He woke me up for a run at six this morning."

Tom smiled. "He says he wants to teach Miles to play football, and he'll need to be ready for when the time comes."

I laughed. "If only one of Miles's dads was a former pro-football player and coach."

"Toy!" And that was Miles talk for "pay attention to me."

I grabbed a drink from the kitchen and went upstairs to my old room. I still had a bunch of old LEGO sets, so I picked the ones with the bigger pieces and dropped them on my bed.

"How about we make a computer, Miles?"

"Moo." He picked a cow from the pieces and started mooing.

"That's it, buddy. And how about this one?" I picked up a dog, and he woofed.

We played the animal sound game for a little while until a message dinged on my phone.

MARCO

Hey. How's home? I don't want to intrude on your family time. Just wanted you to know Hassan figured out the leak.

TROY

Well done, Hassan! Who is it? Anyone we know?

MARCO

Someone we hired a while ago. He did a few jobs for us before we decided we no longer required his services. He's the one who cornered Veronika in the elevator.

TROY

Shit. That one? I remember him. He was good with computers, but there was something off about him. He reminded me too much of Nedry from Jurassic Park.

MARCO

Dude! Right? Anyway, how's home?

I snapped a selfie with Miles holding his favorite cow.

The reply was almost instant.

MARCO

Suits you. That thing you say you can't buy with money? You should chase it.

TROY

Trust me. I am.

I put the phone down and played with Miles a little longer until Wren came to get him to give him his lunch.

I'd fought the temptation to message Alexi. I didn't want to cut into his time with Charlie and Kris, and I'd have plenty of time to be with him later.

Thinking about the kisses I was planning to steal from him during the party put a smile on my face that I hadn't managed to shake off. My mom was getting suspicious I was either up to something or had finally met a guy.

She was right about both of them.

My parents' place wasn't huge, so when I heard cars in the driveway, I looked out the window and almost tripped over myself to get the door.

Charlie and Kris were holding wrapped presents and Alexi trailed behind them, holding a wrapped case with a handle.

He hadn't had it with him when I picked him up from college, so I assumed he'd had it delivered here.

"Where's my godson? I need cuddles," Charlie said as soon as I opened the door.

"Living room."

Kris followed him, rolling his eyes. "We're not getting a baby, Charlie."

When Alexi got closer, I grabbed his hand. When his parents were out of sight, I pushed him against the door and kissed him.

"Number one, baby. The hallway is done." I winked, and he flushed a deep pink.

"I hate you."

"You're going to have to learn to not blush every time I kiss you, Lexi."

He pushed me away, but his eyes were dark with lust, and the way he licked his lips told me he wanted more.

I planned on doing just that.

We went to the living room, where everyone was gathered.

"Everything okay, Alexi?" Kris asked.

Alexi went an even deeper red. "Yes, of course. I…um…almost dropped my gift on the floor."

"You should have seen him trying to stop it. It was like watching a baby seal holding a tray with drinks," I said. He muttered jackass under his breath, and I laughed.

More guests arrived over the next hour, and as I'd expected, with more kids in the house, the party was semi-controlled chaos.

I was surprised to see Sergei and Rory had made it from Lydovia too. They must have flown in late last night.

Rory had become close to Tom just before the wedding, and it was throughout the wedding events that he and Sergei got together.

Our family and close friends were a mash of ex-boyfriends, childhood friends-turned-lovers, biological family, best friends, and everything else in between.

That was why I'd stayed away from Alexi for so long. It almost felt wrong to have the feelings I had for him, but seeing the happy couples around us put everything into perspective.

Rory had been Charlie's ex, and Sergei was Kris's ex. None of that seemed to matter. The couples were as close as friends could be.

I noticed Alexi grab a few empty plates and carry them to the kitchen. My parents had hired an amateur children's theater company to entertain the kids so everyone was in the same place.

Perfect timing.

"Follow me," I whispered in Alexi's ear after he put the plates in the sink.

"Where?"

The laundry room was the furthest we could be from the living room, so there was no danger of anyone overhearing us.

As soon as we were inside, I closed and locked the door.

"What are we doing here, Troy?" Alexi said as the corners of his lips quirked into a light smile. He took a couple of steps back as I took two forward.

"I think you know."

He took two more steps backward. "I'm not sure I do."

The two steps I took to close our distance put his back against the wall with me towering over him.

"I'm keeping my promise." I kissed him, keeping him in place with one hand while the other reached for the button of his jeans.

"What are you?—"

"I'm going to need you to be real quiet, Lexi. Can you do that for me?"

He swallowed and nodded. His eyes were dark and his skin was flushed.

I dropped to my knees and lowered his jeans and underwear just enough to release his cock. He was already so hard and leaking.

When the taste of his precum hit my taste buds, I rolled my eyes in pleasure. I relaxed my jaw and took his cock to the back of my throat.

"Mmm." He moaned.

I knew I needed to be quick, not just because we could be found out but also because Alexi could be a little loud.

Tears flooded my eyes as I tried to suppress my gag reflex. I sucked and licked his cock until I could tell he was close.

He gripped my hair tight to keep me in place and fucked my mouth until he spilled down my throat. All I could do was hold on to the backs of his legs and let him take what he needed. I'd have a sore throat, but it was worth it.

When he let go, I released his softening dick and helped him do his jeans up before I stood again.

My dick was so hard that I was dangerously close to coming in my underwear, untouched.

He fused his mouth to mine, his tongue searching until he tasted himself on me.

I drank him in for a few precious moments longer than was wise.

"You look like you've been ravished within an inch of your life," he said, even though his flushed skin looked exactly like he'd just experienced the same.

"I'm going to leave now and head to my room to take care of this." I held his hand against my erection. "Wait a few seconds before you go out into the kitchen. And when you're there, maybe drink a glass of water to cool down that beautiful blush of yours."

I kissed him again and left.

My dick was out before the door to my room closed. I caught my cum in my hand a moment later.
