It had been over a week in hiding now and still no word from Nova. I'd texted her, sent Cindy to see her and nothing. If she was going to dump me for that asshole then the least she could do was help me out. I gave that bitch everything and Gio Mancini stole her. I'd more than paid off my debt and they were still fucking looking for me.

Because of her.

Because I decided to get a little payback and slip something in her drink. She didn't have to tell him.
