Drelix

Crystal tastes like starlight. Pure, unadulterated starlight. As I drive my fangs into her, sending my healing venom deep into her veins, I'm unable to stop my cock from emerging. The desire to mate her while I bite her is almost overwhelming.

She sighs as I drill the venom into her bloodstream, and then there is the most incredible scent I've ever smelt in my entire life. Her body shakes, and her eyes close as I keep tight hold of her and will my cock to behave.

Her sweet cunt is the only place I wish to spill my seed, not on the floor of my flyer.

"Drelix." My name on her lips removes any self-control I have. With no further warning, I fountain my release with a low, dark moan of both pleasure and regret.

With my fangs still buried deep within her, I take a glance at her leg. Already the unpleasant mottling indicative of the damage done by the disruptor is fading. My venom is taking effect.

Crystal sighs in my arms, her eyes half-lidded, and the scent of her pleasure is intoxicating. I release her, lapping my venom over the bite to ensure she is completely healed.

"What was that, Drelix?" she asks dreamily, as if we are already mated.

"It is, I believe, fate," I reply.

As much as I hate it, as much as I don't want it because I have a revenge to exact, how else can I explain my rut, my venom, and the pool of seed beneath me?

"Fate?" She breathes deeply, filling her lungs. "What is fate?"

"Fate means you've take my bite, little morsel. Fate means you belong to me. You are mine."

Crystal's eyes fly open.

"I-that wasn't—you mean we're married?" She gasps. "Because you bit me?"

I've heard of human marr-iage from my fellow warriors' human mates. It is a way humans believe they are bound to each other, a bit like our dance ceremony shows the galaxy and the ancestors that mates belong to each other.

I need Crystal's help, but as her troublesome behavior has already cost me, I decide to have a little fun. After all, she's going to be mine, eventually. Especially after her reaction to my venom. Especially after my reaction to her.

Fate can be nevved. I rut for this little morsel, and I will make her mine.

"You are bound to me, forever," I intone in my best Haisarkarnii priest voice. "You have taken my venom and I have spilled my seed."

"Oh god!" Her eyes widen considerably and her face pales. "But you said you were only going to heal me."

"You are healed, and you have taken my venom. It is mixed with your blood and marks you out as my mate."

"Mate?" Crystal gasps. "No, no, no," she chants. "I am not your mate. I'm not anyone's mate."

"It is fully recognized by the galaxy council," I say, gathering her up in my arms and placing her gently on the pilot's chair, doing my level best to ignore the further puffs of her perfume as I do so. "We are legally bound to one another. The marks on your neck prove it."

Crystal opens and closes her mouth a few times. My little piece of trouble is lost for words. I lean into her, sucking down her scent like a Sarkarnii starved.

"But do not be dismayed. There are plenty of good things about being mated to a Sarkarnii. We always mate in our shifted form, I will kill anyone who looks at you, and I will always ensure you are pleasured to oblivion," I rasp.

"Pleasured to oblivion?" Crystal repeats, her voice hoarse.

"Pleasured. To oblivion." I capture her lips, lapping at the sweetness I find there.

I have so much to do, the rut should not be happening, but if it is, should I not take delight where I can? And as Crystal melts under me, her mouth responding, her lips as hungry as mine, I know this is a mere distraction.

A good distraction. One I don't deserve, but one I will take anyway.

"Drelix," Crystal says as I release her. "You have two tongues!"

"Imagine what they will feel like when we consummate our bond," I murmur, so very desperate for more of her.

"Oh! No!" Crystal slams herself back in the pilot's chair. "Not happening. Nope." She very nearly topples out in an effort to get away from me.

This time, her scent is not sweet. It is sour with a bitter fear. Fear of me.

I back off instantly. It's all very well to have fun if everyone is having fun, but not if it upsets her. After all, I rut for Crystal, and I want her to be happy and well.

"My apologies, little morsel. I will not ask you again."

"You won't?" She heaves out a sigh of relief, and I can't say I'm not disappointed at her reaction.

"No, you will beg me instead."
