Epilogue

Audrey

The guys' vision for our family cabin outshone anything I could've imagined. A main area with a huge living room and kitchen for spending time together but each of us also had a private bedroom and bathroom. Of course, we spent most nights cuddled up in my Alaskan king bed. I didn't even know there was a bed bigger than the California king until they told me.

After our first night together, they had begun researching like madmen for a huge bed.

They were everything I'd ever craved in a mate, but with the bonus of three beautiful men, who shared me equally. At least, that's what we tried for.

At times, one or more of them would be busier than the others but once they had time off, we made up the difference.

On Fridays, I went into the clinic with whoever was working that day. My cat loved to sit atop the front counter and be generally sassy, a knocking over Edie's paperwork. She didn't mind and called me a silly one. She knew it was me but used a different tone from when I was human, which I found endearing and my cat loved. The boys had even set up a scratching post and other things to give my cat more activity at the clinic.

At our home, they'd built an outside climbing gym. All of us loved playing there. We went to the city once in a while and climbed at the public gym but now, my cat and I had a way to expend some of the extra energy I seemed to always have pumping through my system. If I'd been a larger cat or had shifter mates, I'd have spent more time in the open, but my size and inclination kept me close to home in cat form.

My basket near the cozy fireplace was my favorite place when home alone, but if any of the guys were there, it was all laps or nothing. But this evening I was in two-legged form, working on my latest channel upload when the front door opened. It was Idris. I could tell by the way he shut it. Hale did so quietly. Idris kicked it shut with his heel. Lachlan gave no shits and slammed it. Except in the mornings. He was careful, not wanting to wake me

"Long day?" I asked, leaving my bedroom office and walking out to the top of the stairs. Hale had taken off his boots outside, which meant they were filthy, and he was shedding his scrubs right by the door. Despite Idris and Lachlan being generally messier than Hale, they always brought their vet clothes straight to the washing machine.

Hale looked up at me with a smile. "Felt like it. Then again, I was eager to get home. Did you do it?" He asked.

"I did. Made me nervous but I think it will be okay. We live in an evolving world and I have to trust that people and humans aren't as bad as I've made them out to be. They need to know how to help animals and be an advocate in their own neighborhoods and cities."

"You included the part where you are a shifter," he said and started up the stairs. I'd discussed the notion with them before I made the video, and they agreed that it would be a good idea and certainly would help my cause.

"I did."

He smiled, and instantly my knees went weak. "You're going to have millions of views."

"That's the plan."

"I have a plan of my own," he purred, taking the steps entirely too slowly. For someone who was human, he sure did know how to prowl like a cat. I felt like prey in the best way possible.

"Do tell."

"I think we should go into town and have a big dinner and then come home and have a game night."

I laughed loud and hard, throwing my head back. "I thought you were thinking of sex."

"Oh? I thought that was a given. Like right now. Your bed or mine?" he asked, waggling his eyebrows.

"Mine."

Hale bounded up the stairs and caught me up in his arms while I giggled. Then the front door opened again. "Go away," he grumbled, as he began to kiss my neck.

"Told you, Idris. I knew he left early to get our wife all to himself."

Hale sighed. "Caught again, but you don't mind, do you?"

"Never."
