Recipe Coleslaw
RECIPE: COLESLAW
C oleslaw is a fan-favorite potluck staple, and can be flavored in a variety of ways to keep it fresh and interesting.
Ingredients:
1/2 c mayonaise
1/4 c sour cream
1 t brown mustard (the condiment, not the spice)
1 T lemon juice
1 t spice - suggestions include the Gullah mix from Spices Inc, any brand of sazon, or a Creole seasoning. Celery-based is best!
1/2 t sugar
1/4 t salt
1 lb finely shredded cabbage and grated carrots
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except cabbage and carrots.
Toss dressing with cabbage and carrots.
Let it sit 30-60 minutes before serving for best results.
