Chapter 5

Raven

" L ink, could you please stop staring at the nurse like you're about to cut off his head," I hiss, slapping him on the arm as he stares down the male nurse behind the counter.

"What makes you think I'm not going to?" he asks, not tearing his attention away from the nurse.

"He's just making it worse by holding eye contact," Hunter chuckles.

"I think it's because he's frozen in fear," Taylor teases. "Can't make himself. His fight and flight instincts aren't kicking in."

"Maybe we can help with that," Travis suggests. "We've been feeling a little restless lately. Haven't spilled any blood."

"You guys are the worst," Quinton sighs, leaning back in his seat before pulling me up on his lap.

That gets Link's attention. His eyes snap over to where Q's arm is wrapped around my now swelling belly. A low growl rumbles from his chest.

Yup, Link is back to his old self, that's for sure. Still being a dickhead about anyone else touching me. He went from not laying a finger on me for weeks to not letting me out of his sight. And I mean at all. I don't even remember what it's like to pee without him standing there.

I draw the line at him being in the room with me while I shit. Because no matter how long I'll be with these men, we will never cross that line as long as I can help it.

Doesn't stop him from sitting outside the bathroom door, though. What does he think, someone's going to come through the bathroom window on the second floor and snatch me up?

I'm eighteen weeks along in my pregnancy, and apart from the first ultrasound at ten weeks, we haven't seen the baby. Link demanded we go and make sure everything was okay with Baby Bird. Hearing their little heartbeat was everything. I think it was something we all needed, that little bit of reassurance.

Today, we're finding out the gender of Baby Bird. Well, kind of. It's going to be written down on a piece of paper and given to Andy. She and our moms begged me to let them throw us a gender reveal. And while things like that wouldn't normally be something I'd be dying to do, I'm excited.

The big asshole glaring at my other boyfriend took away the pregnancy announcement. He owes me this. Even if his impatient ass wants to know right this moment because he hates the idea of not knowing things when he's able to.

This pregnancy has been good. A lot of it has to do with the guys making sure I'm well taken care of. And thankfully, that means in the bedroom now too. It's like now that they know they won't hurt us, we're back to normal.

Well, kind of. They still handle me with caution, but at this point, as long as I'm getting a good dicking, I really don't care. But, once Baby Bird is out of me, things better be how they were before.

"Us?" Link growls. "He's the one who thought he had the right to put his hands on what's mine."

"Ours," Q corrects. "And he was just doing his job."

That poor nurse. He came over all bright and bubbly, happy to bring me over to get weighed and my vitals checked. The moment he went to help me stand, Link pounced. Not literally, but he was right in that guy's face growling.

I embarrassingly had to ask for a female nurse because it's just easier that way.

"He can do his job with someone else."

"You're such a caveman," I sigh, cuddling into Q's arms.

"You." Link turns to Hunter. "I know you said you weren't interested in college, but I think you should go to nursing school."

"What the fuck?" Hunter looks at his brother like he's grown three heads. "Why the fuck would I do that for?"

"Because, we plan on doing this a bunch more times. If you're the nurse, I won't kill you for touching her," Link surmises as if it's the most logical thing ever. I'm doing everything in my power not to burst out laughing.

"Fuck that," Hunter scoffs. "I don't know how much gunpowder you've been sniffing, but that's literally the most insane thing you've ever said to me. No. I'm not fucking doing that. Just make sure there's female nurses."

"And you don't think a woman would want our girl? I see them watching her too."

"Okay, okay, that's enough, Link." I laugh. "You can't change the world around us to fit to your liking."

"Yes I can," he counters with a blank face.

"No. You can't." I glare at him.

"Raven West?" My name gets called out, and all the guys except Q jump to their feet.

"That's me," I say, letting Q help me stand.

"The tech and the doctor are female, right?" Link asks the nurse who's escorting us back to one of the exam rooms.

"Yes," she says. "That's why it was a little longer of a wait. We needed to make sure."

"Good." Link nods his head, and I shake mine. Crazy men, but what can you do?

The nurse brings us into a room. It's a tight fit with all of us, but there's no way any of my guys were missing this, and I don't think anyone has the balls to argue and tell us it's not allowed.

"Hello, I'm Doctor Cecilia Kane." I turn my attention to the door, and my hackles instantly rise. She's stunning. Tall and lean, long black sleek hair, and she doesn't look to be much older than thirty. She smiles, and I can tell it's genuine. "You must be the mama to be."

"I am," I say slowly.

"And I'd take it dad would be... all of you?"

"Yes. Is that an issue?" I don't know why I'm being snippy. I'm never this insecure. I know my men love me and would never have eyes for another.

But still. She's like a damn supermodel.

"Of course not. I think that would be pretty hypocritical of me seeing that my daughter has three fathers." She winks.

"Wait, really?" I ask.

"Is that because you don't know who the baby daddy is?" Hunter asks.

"Oh my god, Hunter. What the fuck?!" I gasp, swinging my gaze over to him.

He gives me a shit-eating grin. "Relax, Little Mouse. I know Cece and her boy toy. They went to school with Link."

"How do you even..." I shake my head. "Never mind, you all seem to know everything and everyone."

"Yup." He winks at me.

"Anyway." Cecilia laughs. "How are you feeling, Raven? Your weight and vitals look good. The blood test came back great and the same with your urine."

"Overall? Pretty good. I had morning sickness at first, but that's gone. I'm tired, but having a little one at home on top of being pregnant can do that." I laugh, already missing Andrew. He's with my mom, so I know he's in good hands.

"That it would," Cecilia laughs.

Cecilia measures my belly and does a quick exam. "Everything looks good. Do you have any questions before we head down the hall for the ultrasound?"

"Is it normal for her tits to be that big?" Taylor asks.

"Really?" I give him a blank look. "You too with the stupid questions."

"What?" He grins. "I know they grow with the hormones and everything, but babe, they are massive."

"Don't you think I know that," I sigh.

"I like them big." Hunter reaches over and cups them. "Makes for good pillows."

"Alright, I'm done with you all." I slide off the exam table. "Let's go see my baby," I tell Cecilia.

"Lets." She grins, amused with my guy's antics. Sometimes I swear they're all children.

Cecilia leads us down the hall to another small room. "Hop on up here, shirt up over the belly."

"Thank you." I take Quinton's hand as he helps me up onto the table.

"You're welcome." He leans in and kisses my lips softly, sending butterflies to my belly.

Cecilia gets everything set up, putting the jelly on and grabbing the wand. We all look up to the TV mounted on the wall.

It's all white and black for a moment, nothing but fuzz, and then we see Baby Bird. "I have to take some photos, so you might see a bunch of parts you don't quite know what they are." She laughs. "But then I'll show you the parts you want to see." She winks. "And no, not those parts."

Hunter just rolls his eyes.

"How you doing, little mama?" Travis asks, kissing my forehead.

"Good. Excited." My eyes flick up to the TV as the wand moves around my belly, pressing keys on the keyboard. She's right, I have no idea what I'm looking at.

"Alright," she says after a few minutes. "Ready to see baby?"

"Yes." I grin, biting my lower lip in anticipation.

She moves the wand around. "Here is one of baby's arms." We watch as the hand flexes like it's waving.

"Oh my god. Why is that so cute." My eyes well with tears.

"And here is..."

"Dude! It's a boy!" Hunter cheers, jumping to his feet.

"What? How the hell would you know?" Link asks.

"Do you see how big his thing is? Takes after his daddy." Hunter nudges Taylor's shoulder who looks seconds from strangling Hunter.

"That's not a penis." Cecilia laughs.

"What?" Hunter asks, sounding disappointed.

"No. It's the other arm," she corrects, trying so hard not to laugh.

"Man, I really shouldn't have had that edible before coming here," Hunter sighs, sitting heavily back in his chair.

"What the fuck?" I glare at him. "Why are you getting high before coming to something like this?"

"I didn't mean to," he pouts. "I was hiding more ducks in Link's office, and I found a baggie in his desk. It looked like the candy we get from the corner store, so I ate one. That's when T-Bone came into the office and told me they were his edibles that Link took away from him."

"Dear god," I sigh, closing my eyes before opening them again. "Are your guys like this?" I ask Cecilia.

"They have their moments." She grins. "Now, I'm not telling you what baby is. I was told by Mama to write it down, so I will check after you see sweet baby's face."

She brings the wand up and that's when we see our baby, really see them for the first time.

She presses a button on the computer, and I can hear the whooshing sound of the baby's heart.

I lose it, happy tears spilling down my face. "There's really a baby in there." I look up to find Link staring at the screen, his eyes a little wild, causing me to worry. "Link? Are you okay?"

He blinks a few times but doesn't look at me, he looks at Cecilia. "Is the baby healthy?"

"Yes," Cecilia confirms without hesitation.

"Is she at risk?"

"Apart from the things we recommend for every pregnant woman, no."

"So we won't hurt the baby when we have sex."

"As long as you avoid putting her in a position that causes the baby to be pushed on, no."

He turns and looks at me. "I'm perfect, Little Bird," he says, and I watch as a big weight lifts off his shoulder. He grabs my face and kisses me hard. "I fucking love you," he murmurs softly against my lips. "And Baby Bird."

I smile. "We love you too." Not going to lie, I'm happy that the doctor confirmed everything we've been telling him. Sex is back on the table, because the guys were done with Link's shit a while ago, but he still hasn't fucked me since the day he ate me out at the warehouse. However, he's been between my legs more than not. So, I'm not complaining. Although, my jaw is getting sore from sucking him off so much. Again, not complaining because he's right, I am a cock slut for them, and I'm not ashamed.

"I will never get tired of hearing the heartbeat," Travis says. "Hey, doc, can we get a recording of that?"

"For sure. I'll grab some photos for you too, and I'll put it on a drive."

She cleans up my belly, and the guys help me sit up. When she comes back with the disk, she gives it to Link.

As we're about to leave, I hold back. "I want to talk to the doctor real quick. I'll meet you out there in a second."

"Why?" Link looks from me to Cecilia and back. "Is everything okay?"

I roll my eyes. "It's girl stuff okay. Some things you don't need to know."

"I need to know everything," he replies stubbornly.

"Link." I glare at him.

"Fine. I'm waiting in the hallway," he growls before closing the door.

"Is everything okay?" Cecilia asks.

"Is it normal if I haven't felt the baby move?" I ask her, wringing my hands together nervously. I didn't want to ask this in front of the guys knowing how on edge they already are. "Like I know we saw baby, and everything looks to be okay. But shouldn't I be able to feel kicks?"

I haven't voiced my worries to the guys either. I've been trying so hard to be the strong one, to show them that everything is going to be okay, but if I worry about one thing, it will ruin everything.

"I saw in your medical history that you've had a miscarriage. I can understand your worry due to that. And while it is common for most mothers to feel their baby kick around this time, sometimes sooner, you're eighteen weeks. Just give it time, and it will happen. Sometimes women don't feel anything until twenty weeks."

"Okay." I let out a breath. "That makes me feel better."

"Breathe, mama." She smiles. "We've run all the tests, did everything we could. And all is good, great even. For right now, you don't have anything to worry about."

Little does she know, I have a very dangerous man out there with my name on his hit list.

Well, maybe not as far as death but he's coming for me, that much I know.

"Everything okay?" Taylor asks as I join them.

"Everything is perfect. Let's go home. I'm starving, so I want pizza for supper. And I'm thinking a movie because you assholes have been working too much lately, and I need cuddles with my men."

"Yes, ma'am." Hunter chuckles. "I'll rub your feet too."

I moan. "I'd suck your cock if you did."

He gives me a deep belly laugh. "So, double the pleasure for you, is what you're saying."

I give him a cheeky grin. "You can't deny the pregnant woman."

"Never." He winks.

On our way back home, we pick up Andrew. The pizza gets here not long after he's fast asleep, and the six of us sit on the couch, watching a cheesy horror movie—my favorite.

"They fucking deserve to die," Link huffs as he grabs a handful of popcorn. "If you're going to be dumb enough to walk right for the killer, then what the fuck else do you expect to happen? For him to stop and ask you out for coffee?" he scoffs, shaking his head.

I bite my lower lip, grinning. I'm sitting in Quinton's lap, top half of my legs on Link and feet on Hunter. My eyes flutter closed and I moan as he digs his thumb right in the perfect spot. "Oh fuck, yes! Hunter, right there."

The whole room goes quiet, the only sounds are the screams of the girls dying on the TV.

Opening my eyes, I find them all looking at me with hungry eyes. "What?" I laugh.

"Can't moan my fucking name like that, Little Mouse, and not expect me to bend you over the couch and fuck you right now."

My pussy clenches as my nipples tighten. Fuck, I want that. I want that so bad.

"Oh," I gasp, eyes widening as I feel something fluttering in my belly.

"What?" Link leans forward with a wild look. "Is everything okay? Is Baby Bird okay?"

A smile so damn wide fills my face when I feel it again. I feel nothing but pure joy in this moment. "Give me your hand."

He holds his hand out without hesitation, and I place it on my belly. "Raven, you're scaring me," Hunter says.

"Shhh. Just wait." I laugh, concentrating.

This next one is stronger, and I gasp excitedly. "What is that?" Link asks, concern written on his face.

"It's Baby Bird." I laugh. "Their first kicks."

"Holy shit," Link whispers in awe. And the smile that takes over his face, holy shit, it's beautiful. "That's it, little one. Get nice and strong," he says, rubbing my belly.

"Don't hog her," Hunter grumbles. "Move." He reaches over and shoves Link's hand away. "Oh shit!" Hunter chuckles. "That's a hard kick."

"Right?" I grin.

Quinton slides his hand over my belly and waits. I look up to see him smile just as Baby Bird kicks again. He looks down at me with nothing but love in his eyes. "You truly are amazing, you know that, right?"

"I know." I wink, making him chuckle.

"Alright, move over." Travis gets up and comes over. He scoops me up and brings me over to the coffee table and sits me down. He gets down on one side and Taylor gets down on the other. Both of them lean forward. "Hey, Baby Bird," Travis says to my belly. "Looks like you're growing up real fast. And we want that so bad. But remember, this is our woman, you know. So no hurting her."

I smile, tossing my head back with a laugh.

"Yeah. If we treat your mama like a queen, so do you," Taylor adds.

They both put their hands on my belly. "So, kick if you agree," Travis says.

A second later, Baby Bird kicks.

"That's my boy," Taylor laughs.

"Could be a girl," I counter.

"And god help her if she is." Travis grins. "No man has any chance."

"She could like girls," I point out.

"Same goes with the ladies," Taylor adds.

"You all are nuts." I laugh.

"But, you wouldn't have it any other way," Hunter says.

"No, no I wouldn't."
