12. Corey

Chapter 12

Corey

Little Cheerleader:So I was going to send you a random Tiktok hoping that would spark a conversation and lead to you asking to hang out, but that could take ages and I really want to see you now.

Little Cheerleader: In a chill way.

Little Cheerleader: Because I am so chill, I’m basically low maintenance ice cream.

LittleCheerleader: Or a cake. Not an ice cram cake because they do need a lot of work. I’m like a regular cake that you can eat straight from the oven. However you could cover it in ice cream, whipped cream, and fruit if you want. My brother, Benny, told me a story about our brother Tyler having fruit sex. It wasn’t something I needed to know.

Little Cheerleader: I just read that back. You’re never going to want to see me again, are you?

Me: Are you at your place?

LittleCheerleader: Yes!

Me: On my way.

I am out the door and on my way in less than five minutes.

Thinking that sex with Luke should have been kept to the weekend was definitely short sighted of me. It’s been days since I had him in my bed, and I am desperate for more. It’s like when you have an itch in that little dip between your Achilles tendon and your ankle. The second you scratch it, you never want to stop. It feels so fucking good that when you do eventually stop, you’re still thinking about when you can next scratch it.

That is Luke. He is the human version of my ankle dip.

I probably shouldn’t tell him that.

Or maybe I should. He’s a little weirdo. It’s kind of sexy.

Pretty soon, I’m at the cheer house. I knock on the door. Fuck texting Luke that I’m here. I’m not going to run scared of these cheerleaders just because they don’t like me sleeping with the one they like to baby.

“Hey, Corey, I’m guessing you’re here to see Luke?” says the dark haired cheerleader, answering the door. I’m pretty sure he’s one of the straight ones I saw throwing Luke into the air at the football game the other week.

“Yeah,” I reply, walking into the house. It’s nothing like my frat or the football house. This place looks like a Pinterest board come to life. I wonder if Luke’s room will be the same. Actually, I don’t care. As long as he’s naked and hard, I’m not going to notice anything.

“Cool, I’ll show you where his room is,” he shuts the door and starts leading me up the stairs. “I’m Wyatt, by the way, and I know what you must be thinking.”

“I really doubt that.” I suppose he might suspect I’m thinking about a naked Luke, but not the specifics.

“You’re thinking, are we going to be dicks and try to chase you away from Luke.”

“Nope.” I’m not going to tell him that I had been thinking about that.

Wyatt nods his head in approval. “Confidence, I like that. We may have collectively realized we can all be way too protective of Luke. There is something about him that makes me go into mama bear mode. Somewhere over the years, I think we’ve forgotten that he is the same age as us, and he knows his own mind.”

“Why are you telling me this?” Because what else do I say to all of that?

“Just that no one is going to be negative about you and him hanging out. Or whatever it is you’re doing.” Wyatt stops outside a door with a wide smile. “This is Luke’s room. See you around, Corey.”

“Bye, and thanks…I think.”

I’m still not sure what to make of that conversation, but I guess shit isn’t going to be awkward, so that’s a plus.

I rap my knuckles against the door.

“If your name isn’t Corey, go away,” Luke shouts through the closed door.

“And if my name is Corey?”

There is a loud thump, a mumbled curse word, and then the door is opened by a breathless Luke.

Fucking Jesus, he is pretty.

“Hi, you were quick.”

“I had motivation.” I lean in and press a kiss to his temple, letting the scent of his soap wash over me. “You smell delicious.”

“I taste delicious, too,” he says, closing the door behind me.

Before I can make a remark about how much I want to taste him, I notice the size of his bedroom. It’s generous. A large closet would be more accurate.

“It’s tiny, I know, but I was offered food here included with the fee. Plus, I have my cafeteria food allowance, so I only need minimal help from Benny. It’s a win-win.”

I’m pretty sure houses like this aren’t meant to come with food included, but it wouldn’t surprise me that someone wanted to help Luke out.

“It’s cozy, and there’s room for me to taste you all I want.”

I take my shirt off and flex so my abs are looking their best. Luke’s eyes heat, and he tackles me onto his bed, attacking my lips when we land.

“Corey, is that you? Are you okay?” my mom’s muffled voice sounds.

Luke looks at me, confused. “Did your dick just start talking?”

“It’s my phone, dumbass.” Luke, very unhelpfully, just stays sprawled out over my body as I try and extract my phone from my tight jeans.

“I should have got you naked before I tackled you to the bed.” Luke starts kissing my neck, and I can barely remember my name.

“Corey Oliver Clarence Howe, what are you doing?” my mom’s voice sounds louder. I finally grab the phone out of my pocket, but I just hold it there like a lemon.

Luke looks like he wants to puke. “Your mom? I thought it was Siri or Alexa or…what is Google’s voice called? Why are they all women?”

“Fun fact: my name is actually Alexa,” my mom interjects.

“Your mum is an AI assistant?” He looks so serious. I don’t think he’s joking.

“You sound like one of your future kindergarten students.” I snort laugh.

“Thank you,” he says, smiling at me.

“That wasn’t – you’re welcome, little cheerleader.”

“Bernie, Corey’s on the phone, and I think he’s dating someone,” my mom yells, not even bothering to cover the phone.

“Mom, what’s up?”

“What’s up? You call me in the middle of having sex with an aspiring kindergarten cheerleading teacher, and you ask me what’s up?” She pauses for a moment, but I know better than to say anything. But Luke doesn’t.

“I’m not planning on teaching the kindergarteners cheerleading unless it’s on the curriculum. I’m going to be a regular teacher. Although hopefully not too regular. Not too out of the box either. Somewhere in the middle. Maybe I’ll just perch on the big box flaps.”

“Corey, I like your boyfriend,” Mom says, and I can hear the smile in her voice.

I roll my eyes. “We’re not boyfriends.”

I feel Luke stiffen for a split second.

Fuck. I mean, it’s true, but I don’t want to upset him.

“But he’s not just a hookup either.” Why did I say that? It was so not fucking needed. I groan, running a hand down my face.

“Hey Siri, we’ve flustered your son,” Luke snorts.

“Now playing a Pocketful of Sunshine by Natasha Beddingfield,” blasts through the phone line as my mom’s iPad starts playing the annoyingly catchy song.

This is so fucking chaotic.

“Mom, we’re gonna go. Love you and dad.”

“Love you, kid. Bye, little cheerleader. It was fun meeting you.” She ends the call before I can correct her. Little Cheerleader is my name for Luke.

“She seems really lovely,” Luke says, smiling down at me. He’s still half on me and half on the bed. Head propped up on his elbow.

There’s an almost wistful note to his voice, and I remember he mentioned his mom died when he was a baby. I can’t imagine not having my mom and dad in my life. I pull him in for a hug, and he comes willingly.

“She is lovely. I really lucked out with my parents. No siblings, though. You got me beat there.”

He sighs. “Yeah, I miss them. Benny wants to be a pole dance teacher, and I can see Tyler being a hockey coach one day.”

“A family of teachers. That’s cute.”

“Are your parents okay with you wanting to be a teacher?” I forgot I told him about that.

“Yeah, they would be okay with me doing anything as long as it’s legal. Maybe a few illegal things, too.”

He laughs against my side, and I bask in it.

I like this more than I should admit. Even to myself. Cuddles and sex. Talking about random bullshit or talking about things we feel deeply.

It’s as natural as breathing with Luke.

But it is also not something I want to think about right now.

“Is it about time I taste you?” Luke’s eyes immediately darken, and I feel the stirrings of his arousal on my hip. “I’m hungry, my little cheerleader.”

A blow job will take my mind off everything.
