Chapter 6
Dalia
“ T his is quite a surprise, isn’t it?”
The memory of Lev seated at the desk in the mechanic's shop flashes through my mind. I had no idea who he was then though I believed he was definitely a man of importance. But the sight of him now, seated behind the desk in this massive office of the COO, leaves no doubt, making me feel things I didn’t know I could.
His hands are clasped together before him, and all I can think about is him bending me over the desk, hiking up my skirt, and swatting my rear with those hands. Great , I think to myself. I’m already soaked.
There’s a charged silence between us, the air thick with unspoken desire.
I manage a smile, trying to keep my cool. “Yeah, you could say that.”
His eyes darken slightly, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. “I didn’t expect to see you here, Dalia.”
“Neither did I,” I admit, shifting in my seat slightly. “Small world.”
He leans back in his chair, regarding me with an intensity that makes my heart race. “So, tell me what you know about our company and what you hope to achieve here.”
I take a deep breath, willing myself to focus. “Ivanov Holdings is a diversified holding company with interests in technology, healthcare, and retail. The biggest in the city, in fact. You’ve been expanding aggressively into renewable energy, which I find particularly exciting. As for what I hope to achieve, I’m looking to bring my skills and experience to the table, help streamline operations, and support your initiatives in any way I can.”
He nods, his gaze unwavering. “Impressive. And how do you handle stress, Dalia?”
I can’t help but let my mind wander back to our night together, the way he commanded my body and made me beg for more. I swallow hard, keeping my expression neutral.
“I thrive under pressure,” I reply, my voice steady. “I’ve learned to manage stress by staying organized and focused. And I’m always up for a challenge.”
A slow smile spreads across his face. “Good to hear. I have high expectations. I think you’ll find working here to be quite stimulating.”
The double entendre isn’t lost on me, and I feel a flush rise to my cheeks. “I’m looking forward to it, sir.”
Sir . Shit. I just had to say that word.
He arches an eyebrow but doesn’t expand on it.
“Excellent,” he says. “Let’s get started, then.”
He stands up, moving with a slow, deliberate grace. He makes his way around the desk and sits in the chair next to me, his eyes never leaving mine.
“Your duties will include managing my schedule, handling correspondence, preparing reports, and coordinating meetings,” he begins, his tone all business. “I expect nothing less than perfection. Mistakes are not tolerated.”
I swallow hard, the weight of his words sinking in. It’s clear that, while he’d shown kindness to me the other night, here in the office, he’s all business. Still, I can’t help but let my eyes drift down to the slight bulge in his pants when he looks away, well aware of the thickness that he’s packing.
“Understood.”
He nods, satisfied. “Good. I’ll give you a brief tour of the executive floor before my meeting with my brothers.”
I stand, smoothing down my skirt, and follow him out of the office. As we walk, he points out the various departments, introducing me to key personnel along the way. His demeanor is stern, and it’s clear he commands respect from everyone around him.
We pause in front of a large conference room, the door closed. “This is where we hold our executive meetings,” he explains. “I expect you to be prepared at all times, as meeting are sometimes last-minute. Understand?”
“Yes, sir.”
God, I need to stop saying that.
“Good.”
He continues showing me around the executive floor, his voice a steady stream of information. I try to focus, but my eyes keep stealing glances at his rear, the way it looks in those perfectly tailored slacks. The man is a walking distraction.
His voice drifts in and out as my mind wanders, fantasizing about him on top of me, taking me from behind like he did before. I imagine all the places we could have an office tryst—quick fucks in the supply closet, me on my back with my legs spread on the conference table as he pounds me after hours, him reaching up my skirt and fingering me in his office as I struggle to explain the day's itinerary.
“And this is the main break room,” he says, snapping me back to reality. “It’s stocked with snacks and coffee. You’ll find most of the team here during lunch. Though, you’re more than welcome to take lunch out-of-office, provided that you’re not a minute late getting back.”
I nod, trying to keep my thoughts professional. “Got it.”
As we continue to walk, he points out various offices, introducing me to a few more key people. Each time he turns away, I can’t help but admire his form, my mind running wild with images of our night together.
Finally, we stop outside another office. “This will be your workspace,” he says, opening the door to reveal a sleek modern office with a view almost as impressive as his own. “You’ll have everything you need here to assist me efficiently.”
“Thank you,” I say, stepping inside and taking it all in.
He watches me for a moment, his eyes dark with an intensity that makes my pulse quicken. “I expect you to be thorough and diligent. We have high standards here, Dalia.”
“Yes, si—”
This time, I manage to stop myself, thankfully.
He nods, satisfied. “Good. Now, I have a meeting with my brothers. You’ll come with me to take notes.”
I grab my notebook and follow him to one of the smaller conference rooms. Inside, two men in sharp suits are waiting for us. One looks to be in his late thirties, a bit older than Lev. The other is younger, maybe late twenties, tall and lanky, with the same black hair and gray eyes.
“Dalia Abbas, meet my brothers,” Lev says, gesturing to them. “This is Luk, our CEO,” he nods to the older man, “and Yuri, our CFO.”
Luk gives me a curt nod, his demeanor stern like Lev’s. “Nice to meet you, Ms. Abbas.”
“Pleasure,” I reply, feeling the weight of his intense gaze. “And please, call me Dalia.”
Yuri, on the other hand, has a wild glint in his eyes, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. “Welcome aboard, Dalia. I hope you’re ready for a challenge.”
“I am,” I say confidently.
“Good to hear.”
Lev takes a seat at the head of the table, and I settle in beside him, notebook and pen at the ready.
“Let’s get started,” Lev says, his tone commanding as always. “We have a lot to cover.”
As the meeting begins, I do my best to focus on taking notes, but it’s hard to ignore the dynamic between the brothers. Lev and Luk are both all business, their discussions efficient and to the point. Yuri, though brilliant with numbers, injects a bit of levity into the conversation with his quick wit and sharp observations.
“We need to finalize the budget for the new project,” Lev says, turning to Yuri. “Do you have the projections?”
Yuri nods, sliding a folder across the table. “I’ve crunched the numbers, and I think we’re looking at a solid return on investment within the first quarter.”
Luk reviews the documents, his expression serious. “This looks promising. We’ll need to ensure the execution is flawless.”
I scribble down their key points, doing my best to keep up with the rapid exchange of information. Despite the intensity of the meeting, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement. Being part of this high-powered team is exhilarating, and I’m determined to prove myself.
The meeting goes on, and once more, my thoughts drift to Lev and all the things I want him to do to me. I know it’s impossible now, with us working together, but I can’t help myself.
"Dalia, do you have the notes on the meeting schedule for next week?" Lev asks, his eyes piercing into mine. “They should’ve been emailed to you early this morning before your arrival.”
Without thinking, I respond, “Yes, sir.”
Lev allows himself a small smirk, and I can sense that he knows exactly what’s on my mind. The realization sends a jolt of arousal through me, and my pussy clenches at the thought of him thinking about me in that way.
I clear my throat, trying to recover. “I mean, yes, I have them right here. The schedule includes the marketing strategy session for our new tech division, among others.”
Lev’s smirk fades into a more serious expression as he nods. “Good. Make sure everything is in order. I want you to coordinate closely with the marketing team to ensure all preparations are flawless.”
“Of course,” I reply, scribbling it all down, my heart still racing.
The rest of the meeting continues smoothly, but I can’t shake the lingering tension between Lev and me. His knowing grin, his domineering presence—it all keeps my mind spinning with possibilities.
Every time he looks at me, I imagine his hands on my body, his low voice telling me exactly what to do.
This job, I realize, is going to be a hell of a lot harder than I bargained for. Working so closely with Lev, balancing professional duties with the simmering tension between us, is going to be a test of my self-control.
As the meeting wraps up, I gather my notes, taking a deep breath to steady myself. I’m determined to succeed here, but I can already tell it’s going to be an interesting ride.
I can’t wait to see where it takes me.
