Chapter 9
Chapter Nine
“Do I have to stand in the corner, Daddy?”
“Yes, little girl. Ten minutes without talking. The time keeps resetting every time you talk. You’re supposed to be…”
“Thinking about the bad things I did and how I could make better choices,” Melissa parroted back to him.
Rocky hid a smile. She’d risk resetting her time again to make sure he was still there watching her. He lifted and set his coffee cup back on the table to save her from starting the clock again.
Her exposed bottom wiggled at the sound then stilled once again. He’d wait until her arm healed completely before spanking her. That bottom would glow often. Melissa’s personality was sweet with a rebellious side.
He kept up the small sound signals at irregular times until the timer went off. Instantly, she stood and whirled to look at him.
“Can I come out of the corner?”
“Yes, Little girl. Come sit on Daddy’s lap.”
She dragged her feet, walking as slowly as possible to reach him. Rocky didn’t try to speed up her progress. She gave him more time to enjoy the view.
“Are you really going to shave me?”
“Yes.” Rocky suspected removing her adult intimate hair would be a big step to helping Melissa settle into her new life.
“What if it’s itchy?”
“Then we’ll try a laser or waxing.”
“Those might hurt,” she said, sticking her bottom lip out as she finally drew closer to him.
Rocky scooped her up to sit on his lap. “I’m very proud of you for finishing your time out. It’s hard for a Little girl to be brave when she earns consequences.”
“I don’t like consequences,” she groused.
“That’s why they’re consequences.”
He waited for her to respond. Instead, a few seconds later, she slumped against his chest, dropping her head to his shoulder. Rocky held her snug and swayed slowly to each side. Her breath gushed out in an audible sigh, and he felt her relax even more.
“That’s my good girl.”
“Some days I don’t feel like a good girl,” she whispered. “I don’t try to be bad, but something inside me says, I don’t have to do that .”
“I suspected that’s what’s happening. You’ve had to make so many decisions for so long it’s hard to let someone else help you.”
“What if you make the wrong decision?” she asked, leaning back to look at him.
“Being a Daddy doesn’t give you all the answers. It does give you a protective perspective. If I make a mistake, I’ll always err on the side of keeping you happy and healthy,” Rocky shared.
“And Little?” she asked.
“Yes.”
“If I’m shaved, are you going to make me wear diapers?”
“Sometimes, yes. Am I going to put you in diapers and announce that to the world? No. There are secrets that Daddies and Littles have.”
“Oh! Like being smooth?”
“Yes. I’ll know. You’ll know. And Dr. Richards will know.”
“He looks at everything,” she whispered and blushed.
Rocky loved the faint glow of pink on her cheeks. He’d set up a physical with the doctor next month and written it in red on the calendar. They’d already had many conversations about what that appointment would be like. Melissa knew Dr. Richards would check her from head to toe.
When the blood tests results came back, a courier had delivered a large cannister of supplements for her to take. Suppositories, of course. She hadn’t remembered him taking blood, but her Daddy did. She must have enjoyed that medicated pacifier too much.
“Can I have another pacifier when I go?” she asked.
“I’ll be sure to ask. I bet Dr. Richards would be glad to help you relax.”
“Okay.”
He didn’t probe any further. Melissa had decided she would go to Dr. Richards. However that decision came about, he wasn’t going to argue.
“Ready for your bath, Little girl?”
“Can I have bubbles?”
“You bet. I’ll even show you a very special room when you’re finished,” Rocky promised.
“That locked one?” she asked.
“You’ve tried to peek in there, hmmm?”
“I had to try. Is it a torture room?”
“No, sweetheart. It’s a nursery. Very Little girls get to play in there,” he explained. “Now that you feel better, you can have fun in there.”
“Can we hurry, Daddy? I want to see my nursery. It’s mine, right?” she asked.
“I added small touches over the last few days to make it completely yours. Let’s get you clean and shaved so we can check it out.”
She practically dragged him to the bathroom.
Rubbing a hand over the frilly layers on her panties, Melissa controlled her desire to twirl. After shaving her pussy, her Daddy had dressed her in the most adorable key-lime dress that had white lace. She hadn’t wanted to wear a diaper until she’d seen the panties that fit over them. A diaper cover, her Daddy called it.
Melissa didn’t care about the name. The ruffled lace that matched her dress perfectly made her feel so cute. The color was bright and cheerful. It was impossible to be unhappy in that dress.
“You look very cute, Lissy. I have a question for you. Would you like to go visit Zoey and show her your new dress?”
Automatically, she knew he wouldn’t negotiate any changes in what she wore. Besides, the fancy pants wouldn’t fit on her without the diaper underneath. And, while the dress was pretty, the impact came from the combination of the two. She hadn’t gotten to talk to Zoey much, but Melissa guessed the Little girl would be fun to spend time with.
“Like a playdate? With Zoey. Not to see Dr. Richards.” Melissa felt it was important to clarify.
“You will see Dr. Richards, but not as a patient. I will talk to him, and you will have fun with Zoey.”
She counted to five as she tried to see anything negative to his suggestion. Nodding, she said, “I’d like that, Daddy. Can I take Rwahr Rwahr?”
“Yes. Go grab him off our bed and we’ll go—unless you need to potty first?”
Melissa looked at him and shook her head wildly. She hadn’t used a diaper yet. That was not in her plans. “No, I’m good.”
“Then walk to get your stuffie and I’ll let Dr. Richards know we’re on our way.”
A few minutes later, he buckled her into the seat securely before rounding the hood and climbing in to join her. Rocky wrapped his hand around her thigh and squeezed. “Let’s go have some fun.”
He turned on some fun music and Melissa chair danced as much as her seatbelt would allow her. It didn’t take long to get to the big imposing gate. Her Daddy pushed the button and announced their names. The gates opened slowly, like magic.
She leaned forward to peer around the curve as they drove onto the beautiful grounds. The large white mansion came into view as they emerged from the turn. Immediately, a petite figure seated on the steps popped up to her feet and waved enthusiastically. Zoey.
As soon as Rocky opened his driver’s door, Zoey rushed down the steps to dance outside the passenger window. “Hi, Melissa. Hi!”
Zoey shook her head frantically when Melissa reached for the door latch. Remembering that her Daddy always insisted on opening her door, Melissa tried to be patient as he walked around the hood.
“Hi, Zoey. How nice of you to invite Lissy over to play.”
“I’m so excited I get to spend time with her first. The other Littles are going to be so jealous!” Zoey assured him as he opened the door.
When Melissa stood next to the car, Zoey rushed forward and screeched to a halt next to her.
“Hugs? No hugs?” Zoey asked. “Do you need your personal space?”
“Hugs,” Melissa told her with a definite nod. Instantly, she was engulfed in a bear hug that made her happy. It was impossible to resist Zoey’s enthusiasm and excitement to see her.
“That is the cutest outfit. I am so jealous!” Zoey told her without a hint of that emotion. “It is perfect with your brown hair and green eyes. The color makes your eyes even more striking.”
“It’s new. Daddy just got it for me.”
“He has excellent taste,” Zoey said with a grin.
“He does. Thank you for inviting me over,” Melissa said politely and added, “Can I bring Rwahr Rwahr inside?” as Rocky handed her the stuffie.
“Of course, Rwahr Rwahr is invited. Let’s go introduce him to my Daddy and then we can decide what we want to do,” Zoey suggested.
As if on cue, Dr. Richards walked out the big door and called his hellos. He shook hands with Rocky and held a palm out for Melissa. “Give me a gentle high- five if your arm is better.”
She grinned and followed his instructions. “It feels better every day.”
“I’m glad,” the doctor said with a kind smile. “Come in. Zoey thought you might like to play in her nursery, but there are swings out back and so many toys.”
Melissa looked at Zoey, who not subtly at all signaled she should choose the number-one choice by raising her index fingers on both hands and waving them over her head. “I think I’ll take nursery.”
“Yes!” Zoey took Melissa’s left hand, obviously remembering which arm was recovering.
“No skates,” Dr. Richards warned.
“Of course not, Daddy. We’ll wait until Melissa’s arm is completely healed before we zip around like the wind,” Zoey promised.
“No zipping,” Dr. Richards clarified.
“Promise,” Zoey said, crossing her fingers behind her back so only Melissa could see.
Melissa tried really hard to keep her face composed so she didn’t give away Zoey’s sneakiness.
“Be good, Lissy,” Rocky warned her. He knew her too well.
“Yes… yes, Daddy,” Melissa answered, using the name she always called him at home now.
Zoey tugged her hand gently and Melissa followed with her lion stuffie in her arms.
“Do you go by Lissy, or is that something only your Daddy calls you?” Zoey asked as they walked down the hall.
“You can call me Lissy. It’s great for people I trust.”
“Thank you for putting me in that group. It’s really hard when you’re newly Little to share yourself with others,” Zoey said, knowingly. “Do you like to color?”
“I love it.”
“Come sit down at the table. I’ll get the colors and the books. Crayons or colored pencils?”
“Crayons,” Melissa answered.
“Ah. A purist. I love it.”
A few minutes later, an assortment of different types of coloring books decorated the table, along with what Melissa guessed was every possible shade of crayons. Choosing was difficult.
“Was letting people know you were Little tough for you?” Melissa asked.
“Oh, yeah. But I lived here with Dr. Richards. I had come here to apply for a job,” Zoey explained. “It was just me and him. Well, with Jillian and Paul. They work for Dr. Richards. I was super embarrassed for a while. Now, they’re my family.”
“That’s nice. Did you get the job?” Melissa asked.
“I got an even better job than the one I thought I was applying for. I’m Dr. Richards’ Little girl. Mostly, I love him and try to help everyone feel as comfortable here as possible. I’ve gotten to know so many amazing people—like you.”
“I work for Tami. Do you know her?”
“I love Tami. What a fun job! You get to hang out with dogs. Oh! Is that how you got hurt?” Zoey asked, horrified.
“It wasn’t the dog’s fault. A kid hit him, and he reacted.”
“Poor dog. He had to be so scared,” Zoey said, with tears in her eyes.
Melissa had already decided Zoey was one of the sweetest people in town. Now she knew Zoey was even more special. Very few people thought of the dog first, like Melissa had. She’d ignored the pain and blood to reassure her canine friend.
“He was. He’s better now. The housekeeper isn’t allowed to bring her son to work anymore. She couldn’t keep the little boy in sight all the time and get her work done.”
“I’m glad,” Zoey said with an authentic smile. “Tell me everything about you.”
“Well…” Melissa tried to figure out what to share. To her surprise, words tumbled out of her mouth. She and Zoey discovered they had a lot in common.
By the time their Daddies came in to check on them, the two Littles were great friends. Rwahr Rwahr was surrounded by a dozen stuffies who had wanted to come meet him. Zoey had invited her to the regular gatherings they had at their house for all the Littles in Dr. Richards’ care. Melissa couldn’t wait to go.
“I’m afraid we have to go home, Lissy,” Rocky told her.
“Really?” she answered, dejected.
“You can come back and play soon,” Dr. Richards promised.
“I’d like that,” Melissa shared.
“Me, too! Next time, we’ll play outside,” Zoey suggested.
“That sounds like fun. Can I take my pictures?” Melissa asked, hating to abandon them.
“Of course. Your Daddy wants them for the refrigerator,” Zoey declared.
“I definitely do. Thank you, Zoey,” Rocky said with a smile.
