Chapter 4

Chapter Four

Elliot

Sleepy grunts and backward wiggles first thing in the morning were uber-precious. Tinsley pushed her warm body deeper into mine. There wasn't much more room for her to snuggle in since she usually slept pretty plastered to my side. I tightened my hold on her and a happy sigh escaped her mouth.

Something was jabbing me in my ribs and I was pretty sure it was her pacifier shield. We fell asleep so quickly last night, I didn't even dress her in pajamas, so I had nothing to clip her pacifier onto. I moved slowly, trying to dislodge it without waking my Little one.

"Nu, Dada," she grumped.

"I'm sorry, baby," I soothed.

It only took a few seconds for her breathing to even out. I laid there—with the blasted pacifier still stabbing me in the side—for another hour before she stirred again.

Rolling over, she wrapped one arm around my midsection, and threw one leg over mine. I rubbed her back and enjoyed feeling the goosebumps rise on her skin.

"Morning, Dada."

"Good morning, baby. Did you sleep good?"

"Good," she answered. Stretching, she lifted her arms above her head and I was given a wonderful view of her pert little tits.

"Well, now it's an even better morning." I pressed a kiss between her breasts. My dick pressed against her thigh, but I wouldn't take her again. She would be too sore.

"Do you feel like going for some breakfast, babygirl? Or would you rather I order in?"

She tapped her chin as she thought. "Go to there."

"Sounds good, little one. What kinda breakfast food were we thinking?"

"Wapples. Definitely wapples."

Chuckling, I slid from the bed. "I bet Helen has some pretty good ‘wapples' somewhere."

I got us both showered and dressed in record time. I felt like I deserved an award. People underestimated how hard it was to dress a wiggly Little girl.

I held her hand as we walked down Main Street. The small town was even more charming in the mornings. The birds sang so beautifully and the sun peeked from between the trees just right. It really did feel almost magical.

"Today?" Tinsley asked as she skipped along beside me. She'd skipped yesterday too. I hoped that meant she was feeling carefree and relaxed.

"What about today, baby?"

"Doing today?"

"Oh. Silly Daddy. Today we are going to the waterpark, having a picnic, and maybe doing some shopping if you feel up to it."

"Fun," she said, nodding her head so hard her small pink bow wobbled.

"I think it will be a fun day too."

"Picnic is fun," she added.

I squeezed her hand before bringing it to my mouth and kissing her fingers. "I thought you might like that."

"Maybe see the duckies again."

"Oh, yeah. Maybe they'll be back today."

I guided her through the restaurant door and into a booth. "Dada, same side?" she asked, patting the bench seat beside her.

I slid into the booth beside her and she pressed into me. Placing my arm on the back of the seat, I flipped open a menu.

"Oh, they have chocolate chip waffles," I pointed out, tapping the menu.

"Ohh." She nodded, excitingly. "Coffee too."

I laughed. She hated coffee. "How about juice?"

"Hmmm, apple?"

I scanned the menu. "Yes, they have apple. Is that what you would like?"

"Yas-huh, Dada."

I couldn't resist the urge to kiss the top of her curls.

"What having?" she asked me insistently.

"I think I'm going to have a ham and cheese omelet."

"Boring."

"Oh, an omelet is boring?"

"Yas-huh."

"What do you think I should have?" I prepared for a silly Little girl answer.

"Wapples."

"I should have waffles too?"

"Yas-huh."

I smiled down at her. "What if there are only enough ingredients to make one waffle? Then we both couldn't have one. How sad would that be?" I teased.

"So sad," she agreed.

"Maybe to play it safe, I'll just pick an omelet."

"Howdy, folks. My name is Kelsey. What can I get started for you?" Our waitress appeared, cutting our banter session short.

"Hi, Kelsey. My name is Tinsley. We are going to have an easy order. Two coffees with cream and sugar on the side and two chocolate-chip waffles, please," Tinsley said before I could even open my mouth.

"Well, that is an easy order! Alright, I'll get that right in for you."

I waited until the waitress was out of earshot before turning to look at the sassy Little girl sitting beside me. She gave me a grin fit for the Cheshire Cat.

"What was that about, baby?" I wasn't really mad. Definitely amused, though.

"Dada needs fun." A confident head nod accompanied her words.

"I need some fun? I have a bouncy Babygirl to keep me fun," I teased, tickling her neck.

Giggles filled the private booth. "Tinsley loves you."

"I love Tinsley."

Kelsey came back and set all of our plates on the table. I thanked her when I saw the whip-cream smiley faces. She set an apple juice on the table with a wink. "I heard the conversation and thought maybe I'd bring a juice, just in case."

I looked over to see Tinsley pouring copious amounts of sugar and milk in her coffee. "Thank you, I think we'll need it." I chuckled, looking back at Tinsley.

Satisfied, she took a sip before promptly spitting it back in the cup. She turned to me, her horror and disgust evident in her sour expression. Biting the inside of my cheek to contain my laughter, I slid her the glass of juice.

After taking several gulps, she looked at me sheepishly. "Gross."

"Yeah, it probably is gross to Little girls. That's why it is for grown-ups."

"Maybe Tinsley will like it when she's three," she answered with a shrug.

"Oh, yeah. Because three-year-old Little ones are so big," I agreed dryly.

"So big," she agreed, not registering my sarcasm.

Tinsley

I held Daddy's hand tightly as we walked through the entrance of the water park.

"Are you doing okay, babygirl?"

"Little scared," I admitted. I was a walking conundrum. I craved all the adventures, but was terrified of anything new. We've had a fun morning. After breakfast we'd done some shopping at the small boutiques in the area, but I'd grown more and more nervous as more time rolled by. Daddy decided to bring me to the park a bit early, so I could stop worrying about it.

"It's okay to be scared, baby. New things are hard. What makes you brave is the fact you're willing to do these things while you're scared. Look how strong you're being! You're holding my hand, walking in like such a brave girl. I'm so proud of you!"

Daddy was the best hype man. "Proud?" I loved making Daddy proud.

He set our things down by the locker he'd rented and knelt to take off my sandals. "So proud."

"Uncle Tyler will be proud?"

"Oh yes, Uncle Tyler will be just as proud as Daddy. We'll have to take a video to show him."

I smiled and my heart flipped in my chest. I loved making Uncle Tyler proud too. Daddy stashed our stuff in the locker after applying another layer of sunblock to both our bodies.

"Where to first, baby?"

"Look around first?"

"That's a great idea."

He took my hand, and we walked around the park. It wasn't super big, so it wasn't as intimidating as I'd first thought. There was a massive tubing area, a huge water slide, and two smaller water slides. My heart pounded in my chest looking at the biggest slide and I knew if I didn't slide on it first, I would back out.

"Can we do that one, Daddy?"

Surprise flickered across his face, but he nodded. "Sure, baby. That looks fun."

We followed the arrows to the stairs and climbed them up to the entrance. Each step I took made my tummy flutter harder. "You're doing so good, baby," Daddy whispered behind me.

A lady in a shirt that labeled her as staff handed me a large yellow float. "Make sure to stay seated until you reach the bottom."

"Yes, ma'am."

Daddy held the back of the float and I put my bottom in the seat. "Ready?"

I nodded.

He stepped back and I lifted my feet. The water snatched the float and spit me into the tunnel. The fast force spun me through the tunnel. Various shades of blue, green, and red flew past me. I held onto the handles tightly, but laughed in glee. It was really fun. The colors were pretty and every once in a while, the float sailed way up on the side of the tube, making me think I might fall out. I saw the light at the bottom and just as quickly as it began, I was back out in the sunshine, pulling my float out of the water and waiting for Daddy to come down.

He came down in a big spray of water and I clapped at his landing. He winked at me and pulled his float out before meeting me on the walkway.

"You did so good, babygirl. I am so proud of you."

"That was so fun!" I beamed at him. I was proud of myself too.

"Do you want to do that slide again or try something different?"

"Again!"

"Well, lead the way, little one."

I yawned again and Daddy chuckled. "Tired, babygirl?"

Nodding, I snuggled against him a bit more. We'd had so much fun at the water park and now we were enjoying a picnic by the river. "Can you take another bite for me, baby?"

I bit into the peanut butter and jelly sandwich Daddy was holding for me. He laughed, but continued holding the snack. I took another bite.

"Juice?" I asked.

He kissed the side of my neck. "It would be easier to feed you if you were sitting beside me, baby." Daddy chuckled.

"Nu."

I was sitting between Daddy's knees with my back against his chest. I was too comfy to move.

"Nu?" Daddy teased, using his free hand to rub my belly.

"Nu."

He brought the juice box to my mouth and I sipped through the tiny straw.

"I think I've got a needy baby right now. Hmmm?"

I nodded. I was almost always a needy baby, but Daddy never minded.

"How about we feed the duckies and go back to the hotel? We can have a nice cozy afternoon and night in. We can have some Tinsley and Dada time."

I nodded again and Daddy helped me stand between his legs. After pulling some sliced grapes from the cooler, he took my hand and led me to the river.

"Just throw them in, baby."

I took a handful and tossed them toward the ducks. They swam and dived for the grapes. I liked the way their butts stuck up in the air when their heads went under water.

"Dada?"

"What, baby?"

"Why does a duck have feathers on his butt?"

"I don't know, baby, why?"

"To hide his butt quack."

Daddy snorted and tossed a grape at me. "That was awful, Tinsley."

I bit back a smile and nodded my agreement. It was a terrible joke.

"Why grapes?" I asked Daddy after a minute.

"Why did we give them grapes?"

I nodded.

"Grapes are better for their bellies."

Oh. Dada was so smart.

We finished feeding the pretty yellow babies and Daddy packed everything back up. "Are you ready for some snuggles?"

That sounded amazing. I nodded.

"Me too, little one. Let's go."
