Caleb

L ying in bed with my best friend and Madison snuggled down between us, the soft golden rays of the morning sun filtering into the room feels right. I thought for sure I would feel anger or jealousy, but I don't. Each time she woke up in the middle of the night and reached for both of us, it seemed to be the most natural thing in the world.

I look down at her sleeping face. She's clearly exhausted after everything the three of us have been doing these last few hours. I glance at Owen, wondering if he's asleep, only to find him watching Madison. "I want to keep her." He brushes a lock of hair out of her face.

"So do I, but we have to convince her she belongs with us." I want to spend the rest of my life with Madison and Owen.

Sharing a woman isn't something I ever thought I would want, but after only a few hours with Madison, I want to see where this will lead. Owen and I have always done everything together, and I often wondered what our lives would be like once we settled down and married. But no matter how many women we dated, none of them felt right. It seems Madison might be the missing piece.

"And just how are we supposed to do that, we're only here for three weeks. It's not like we can kidnap her like that guy did to her friend last night."

"True, but we'll figure something out. Now, as much as I hate to leave her, we need to go back to our hotel and get ready for our meeting this morning."

Reluctantly, we get out of bed and dress quickly before kissing Madison.

"Should we leave a note or something?" Owen asks, "So she knows we didn't run out on her."

"No, I think the element of surprise will work better for us. Now, let's go before we climb back into bed with her and spend the day making love instead of making plans for our future."

It's the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but we leave Madison sleeping in her bed while we sneak away. The only thing stopping me from staying is knowing we have to get our future settled before we can make our feelings known for Madison. I only hope she feels the same way about us as we feel about her.
