6. Oliver

His Isobel

Oliver used every ounce of self-control he had not to rip down Isobel's leggings and fuck her here and now on the plane.

She moaned softly in her sleep, snuggling closer to his side.

His grip on his pants tightened.

He focused his attention on Maddox. "Why does she never listen to me? She always looks to you. It's frustrating."

Maddox chuckled softly. "Because you're an overbearing control freak that tracks her every second of the day and her subconscious is telling her what her brain doesn't. You're dangerous." Maddox's eyes turned soft as Isobel shifted again.

Oliver glanced down to make sure she was fast asleep before responding. "That's rich coming from you. You were the one that came up with the idea to get Harry away from her."

Maddox grunted, "It was too easy. I barely did anything at all. I got Milo to send him a text from Hallie's number, the rest was on him."

Isobel moved again letting out a raspy sigh.

Oliver stiffened. Everywhere. "This trip. We can't wait any longer. It's time."

"Agreed. You good?" Maddox nodded his head at Isobel.

"No," Oliver admitted.

"I didn't think so. Here I'll help."

Maddox lifted the arm rest between himself and Isobel and took her sleeping form; Oliver allowed it. Oliver may be a control freak, but Maddox's self-control far outweighed Oliver's. They both knew it.

Once she was resituated, Maddox lowered his voice and leaned towards Oliver. "There's a man that has been watching her, five seats back. He ran into her when she exited the restroom. There was something off."

She was always running into despicable men. Oliver had done his best over the years to rid her of them, but it was time he staked his claim. He surveyed the area discreetly and found the man Maddox was indicating.

"I am not exactly sure why, but he seems oddly familiar. I'll reach out to Milo about it." Oliver thought aloud.

Oliver spent the rest of the flight discreetly watching the man, ignoring the stiffness in his pants, and trying not to outwardly show his obsession with the sleeping woman.

He was once more grateful for Maddox's presence. Maddox kept Oliver from crossing a line with Isobel.

He just hoped she would be able to accept them both. Together.
