16. Izzy

It was time. I took a picture of my signed NDA and my finalized form, uploading it to my profile and sending a copy to Yara, too.

I folded the form to bring with me and left the rest in the folder hidden underneath my mattress. I dressed in my favorite Mumu and feigned illness to Oliver and Maddox.

"Just leave me be!" I yelled at them both standing guard at our adjoining room's door. I knew they were both worried from earlier, but we could get into that later.

I already had enough anxiety about this without their mother hen energy mucking up the place.

"You sure you don't need anything?" Oliver's tone was saturated with worry, and I immediately felt guilty for lying to him. To them both. But they would never let me do this.

"I'll be fine, just let me rest please."

They both offered up uneasy smiles before exiting my room and closing the door behind them.

I sent out a blank text to Yara. It was her signal.

A few minutes later, I heard them exiting their room. I wasn't sure how she convinced the overprotective men away from me, but I didn't waste any more time.

I threw a robe over my sleepwear, grabbed the form with my request, both hotel keys, stepped into my slippers, and exited my room. I felt like I was a teenager sneaking out as I glanced both ways before making my way down the hall. While the room was on the same floor, it was two hallways away.

When I made it, I breathed a sigh of relief as the door slunk shut behind me. The room was identical to the one I was staying in, except this one had clearly not been used yet.

Walking fully into the space, I emptied the pockets of my robe on the bedside table and eyed the bottle of wine there. I plucked the card that was placed at the bottom, reading it.

Cheers to satisfying your desires.

I could get behind that. Thankfully it was a twist top and I made quick work of opening it. I swiftly filled and threw back a glass before shedding my robe and getting comfortable in the bed.

Nervous energy was coursing through me, but the alcohol was doing its job.

Sleep play was something I had read about and always wanted to try, but this was all very new.

What if I just thought I would like it? What if I ended up hating every moment?

Even though I wanted this, I was still so anxious. I reached over and plucked the wine from the bedside table, taking a swig straight from the bottle this time. I set it down after several large gulps.

It was time.

I adjusted my Mumu and closed my eyes. I did my best to calm my breathing and fall asleep, because I knew when I woke up, it would be to a man inside of me.
