Chapter 8
D
D lifted his precious angel Yara’s phone up and snapped a picture of the hotel she was just carried inside of before shutting it back off.
Wouldn’t want to be tracked further than this.
His blood was on fire, attempting to melt him from the inside out. It was time to teach her another fucking lesson. She was going too far.
He taught Yara better in their time together. She should have known not to come out here, to follow this silly dream of hers.
To change her name. To try to disappear from him.
For a while, he left her be, but then her face landed on the front page of a magazine.
It made it easy to find her. To track her down. To secure a job and start up a life here.
Except she wasn’t getting the message. Wasn’t reading the letters. Ignored his warnings.
Well, it seemed she just needed a reminder of what happened when she didn’t listen to him.
He flexed his fists, slipped her phone back into his pocket, and walked away.
He would be kind and return it to Yara. Just not yet.
