22. Twenty Two

Twenty Two

Sunny

"I'm going to regret asking, but why is your face like that?" Amara pointed at me, a frown her only expression.

"Last night—"

"Nope!" Bow slapped a hand over my mouth. I licked it. "Yuck!" He yanked his hand back to wipe it on his shirt.

"Come on, I've gotta tell her about last night!"

"Sunny," Bow warned.

"Later." I winked at Amara.

We set up the store for another busy day. The necromancer was right. The store really filled a gap in the market. Not just with witches, though a ton of them came through the doors. All kinds of supernaturals and even some humans in the know visited.

I was so proud of Bow. He'd really made Umberwood his home. Now if we could only make sure the pack stayed under Griffin's leadership.

"It's good to see you so happy," Amara said in an undertone as I helped her stock a shelf with crystals. Even to my untrained senses, I could feel the power in them.

"Rainbow is a good man. The werewolf, too. I have to admit I had my concerns, like the rest of the coven, when you said you had two mates. I think you need two to handle you."

"You have no idea!" In a whisper, I added, "You should get two mates."

Amara chuckled. "Isn't one enough?"

"No. The things you can do with two…" I sighed dreamily. "They had me double impaled. Double staked on their dicks. Best sex I've ever had."

She choked on air, then dissolved into giggles.

"Sunny!" I turned to see Bow's horrified expression. "Do we need to make a rule about discussing our sex lives?"

Working in the store with Bow was special. He didn't really need me all day, though. I really appreciated him giving me a job, yet with the store so new and my lack of magical knowledge, I was better off dealing with the plants until I caught up to Amara.

After lunch, once things had died down, I went to the house Kayden had rented for me, to clear it out. Once everything was packed in my truck, I turned in the keys. There was still plenty of time before I had to pick up Bow and Amara, so I found myself at loose ends. Never a good thing normally, but my men were busy people. I decided to do what I could to lighten the load for them. That's what being an excellent mate was.

I headed back to the pack to put stuff together for our trip. Since Bow wasn't the greatest at cleaning up after himself or keeping on top of laundry, I did that for him. With a burst of extra speed, I packed up everything I thought he would want to take with him to Griffin's, or rather, our new home.

Griffin was waiting with space cleared for our clothes. His house was slightly bigger than Bow's, with a third bedroom.

"Thought we could continue to use this last bedroom as an office. I'll get another desk for you or Rain to work off. Any overspill of stuff can go in here. The clothes that don't fit in the master dressing room can go into the spare room."

"You've given this a lot of thought." I moved closer to him. The werewolf seemed more shut off compared to the night before.

"We could keep the spare room set up so if one night someone wants space…" He hesitated, standing in the narrow hallway.

I pounced. Pinning him against the wall, I kissed him deeply. He tried to push me away. He got a few steps into the living room before I was on him again. The tease wanted to play chase. "Rain—"

"Said it's okay if we have fun by ourselves. If you don't want to do anything without him—"

That's how I found myself bent over the back of the sectional, Griffin's dick in my ass. I loved having two mates.

Amara was determined to walk home or get an Uber when she caught the scent of Griffin all over me when I went to pick them up, ass still sore from his rough treatment. Rather than be jealous, Bow was happy I'd spent time alone with Griffin.

"I think you're going to be the glue between us. Sometimes Griffin will get annoyed with me, or he'll unintentionally hurt my feelings. You'll be the one that'll make us talk to each other."

The validation which came from his statement filled all the places where someone said I was too much. Somehow, Griffin and Rainbow saw me. More than that, they understood me.

"You should have some time alone with Griffin tonight. I get to see you all the time."

"What will you do?"

"I'll spend some time with Amara."

"Fantastic," she muttered, though I chose to believe she was secretly pleased.

When I returned to the house from Amara's late that night. Griffin and Rainbow were in bed together. I watched Griffin fill Bow, their movements together tender and slow.

They were a little shocked when I handed them a towel to clean up after.

"Great show. Ten out of ten. Would watch again," I said.

Rainbow just laughed.

Griffin drove us to the airport, our bags in the trunk and Jinx in his travel terrarium in the back seat alongside me.

Our wolf was in a strange mood. I knew part of it was wondering what state the pack would be in when he returned. They were playing pretend, letting Ray think Tor had ousted Griffin, and that the Were was running away with his tail between his legs. Ray seriously underestimated Griffin, if he believed that.

"Hey," Griffin broke the silence. "Do you want to maybe come teach a class at the gym after all this is done?" His eyes caught mine in the mirror.

"Uh, sure. I've never taught anything before." The idea of it was pretty cool.

"I'll help you. My one is a self-defense class. Put it on hold with the truce and after. Was waiting for things to quiet down."

I could tell it bothered Griffin to have to do that. No wonder he was always brooding. He was giving up a lot to keep the pack and Southridge happy, and none of it was working.

"Which gym?" Bow asked.

"The one you signed up with and never used," he joked. "Don't worry, I canceled your membership."

Bow spluttered. "What?"

"Baby, I own it, so you can work out there for free, once things settle down. I don't want you there until this thing with Ray is done."

"Will you train me?" Bow's flirting was horrible, but Griffin was smitten.

"Sure thing."

We fell into silence again, driving for another ten minutes with just the radio for company.

The sign for the airport was just up ahead. Griffin tensed up again.

We soon found somewhere to park and went to check in for our flight. I didn't mind flying. It was certainly better than being stuck in the truck for a day, navigating wintery roads. I was getting the impression Griffin was worried about it. He kept gripping things too tightly, making plastic and metal creak and squeak. He was grinding his teeth and looking a little manic. I caught a couple of airport staff giving him a wide berth and the side-eye.

Bow glamored the terrarium and Jinx to look like a little dog so we could keep him with us on the plane. Done with our tickets, he looked at Griffin for what to do next. We had nearly an hour to wait before our flight. The roads had been pretty bad, so it was just as well we left with plenty of time to spare.

"Hey, do you want to grab us some coffees while we wait? I need to chill Griffin out or he's going to break something and get us kicked off the flight." Me taking charge of the situation probably wasn't the best idea, but as long as we got on the flight and no one was arrested, I didn't care.

"Sure!"

I helped Bow with our carry-on bags to a table and left him with our orders.

"Come with me." I snagged Griffin's sleeve and towed him to the nearest bathroom.

We took the furthest away stall. I locked the door and rounded on him.

"Do you want me on my knees?" I asked as I unbuttoned the fly of his jeans. "Or would you rather fuck me against the door?"

"We can't—"

"Oh, correction, we can and we will." I stroked his hardening cock with a light grip. "Would you like me to stroke us both until we come all over me? Then you can rub it in, leave your scent all over me."

He gave a grunt as I twisted my hand around the head of his dick. "Last one."

"Perfect." I flipped my t-shirt over my head, exposing my stomach and chest. My pants and underwear hit the floor.

Griffin was pretty much the same height as me, making it easy for me to take both of us in hand and stroke us together. He was so hot and hard. Almost scalding compared to my cool skin. I loved the contrasts.

I held out my hand. "Spit."

He complied, making the glide over our cocks easier. With my spare hand, I played with his balls and kissed him, our tongues tangling.

"Bite me," he gasped as he broke away from the kiss. "Please, I'm close."

His skin was slightly salty under my tongue. I licked him before striking. A quick bite was a clean bite with less pain. His blood rushed into my mouth full of the unique flavor that was my werewolf mate. He was so rich with life, I barely needed anything.

With one last stroke, he came over my stomach. I came soon after, sealing his wound, so it vanished.

"Better?" I asked as I righted our clothes, leaving our come smeared on my skin. Griffin looked stunned.

"Much." He wrapped an arm around me and kissed my cheek. Our wolf was such a pretty pupper when he was all satisfied.

"Hey, your coffee is getting cold!" Bow called as we returned to the table. He leaned over to kiss me. "Well done, Sunny. He looks so much better."

"Want a turn? We've got time."

"Drink your coffee first."

I gulped the coffee down, desperate for a taste of my other mate. Bow laughed at me while Griffin smirked. Our witch wouldn't let me kneel on the tile floor in the same bathroom stall, so I used my vampire strength to lift him high enough that I could suck his cock.

The flight was quiet and short, with two very happy mates.

Westhaven wasn't on a map. After flying to the closest airport, we hired a car to drive to the coordinates that were sent to us when we boarded the plane.

All we knew was the drive would take us maybe an hour, and we were heading towards the coast.

"I'm looking forward to seeing the ocean. It's been a while. I wonder if I can collect any seaweed for the shop? Maybe they have types I've not seen before."

Always thinking of work! I smiled at the back of Bow's head. He was sitting up front with Griffin. I had Jinx next to me. He hadn't enjoyed the flight much. Poor thing. I took him out of the terrarium so I could hold him. His little spines bristled.

The sanctuary was only a few minutes away. As we grew closer, I felt the magic of their wards tingling over my skin.

"Can you…?" My head buzzed with it.

"Welcome," came a soft, masculine voice. I'd heard rumors that a god ran Westhaven.

"Yeah." Bow was staring out of the windows in wonder.

All around us, a busy city was forming. People were coming and going. There were stores open for business and cars on the streets.

"We've got to go to City Hall first," Bow reminded Griffin.

There were signs pointing the way, though we wouldn't have needed it, I could see the imposing building. It was higher than all the others, set on a hill overlooking the sea.

"Wow!" Bow looked nervous enough for all of us.

"It'll be fine. Don't forget, we were invited here," I reminded him as I massaged his tense shoulders. Jinx crawled over to his witch.

He reached up to pat my hand. "Thanks."

Griffin pulled into a spot outside the massive City Hall building and switched off the car. "The sooner we get this over, the sooner we can see your parents."

People poured from the open door.

"Welcome!" an imposing man called. "I'm Baldr. Yes, that one from mythology. I'm the mayor of Westhaven. Now, which of you is turning Aspen?"
