Okay, so I have a sweet spot for bookish types. And Anteraz is an intense, eight feet tall fantasy of muscles, confidence and brains. Obsessed with venomous monsters of all kinds, he uses them to heal his tribesmen from serious injuries.

And he keeps saving my life from the lethal wildlife in the jungle.

Still, his interest in me feels dangerous. Hes grumpy and gruff, and the bulge in his loincloth feels like a constant threat. Probably because his tribe hates women and keeps trying to kill me, convinced I’m some kind of witch.
