Chapter 5
Five
Jacob
Jacob woke up the next morning, sunlight streaming in his window, and an aching erection in his shorts. He couldn't even remember how his night had ended – the last thing he knew he had been watching TV with Will, and the next minute here he was, awake in the morning, alone in his room with this beacon between his legs. A dream he'd had overnight slowly came back to him. He'd fallen asleep on someone, and in his dream had rolled over, embracing them, and gone on to kiss them, passionately and unyieldingly. He had been so turned on in the dream, it had caused him to wake up to this .
He looked down, slowly putting his hand into his shorts, gripping himself. He began to pull. Jesus, I haven't had morning wood like this in a long time , he thought to himself, tugging harder. His bed began to squeak a bit with each stroke, and he immediately worried that Will could hear it. Is he even awake? I wonder what he's doing , he thought as he continued stroking himself, trying his best to be quiet.
The bed continued to creak, starting to become louder and louder as he went on. The rest of the house was silent. Damn it , he thought, and stopped. He slowly got up and stood next to his bed, looking down at the obvious tent in the front of his shorts. Well, this needs to be dealt with , he thought.
He listened quietly, trying to figure out if Will was up. If he was already awake, he was most likely just in his room. Jacob figured that if he made a run for it, he could probably make it down the long hallway, past Will's door, and into the bathroom to hastily make himself come in the shower.
He heard no sounds coming from outside his door, so slowly, he opened it and stepped quietly into the hallway. He got to the bathroom door – success! – and reached out to open it. At the same instant his hand touched the doorknob, it began to twist from the inside and the door opened, Will on the other side.
"Oh, Jesus!" Jacob said, trying to quickly turn and rearrange his boner.
"Oh, shit, sorry Jacob! Hey! G'morning," Will said, still seeming sleepy. "You must have gotten a good nights rest, huh? Fell asleep at, like, 10pm!" Will playfully hit Jacob on the shoulder.
"Uh, yeah, I definitely feel well-rested," Jacob said trying not to make eye contact and to keep Will from seeing below his waist. His dick throbbed in his shorts.
"Sorry man, I gotta use the bathroom," he said, pushing past Will to get through the door.
"Okay, okay" came Will's reply as Jacob shut the door behind him.
" Fuck ," Jacob quietly whispered to himself, his back against the bathroom door. Why had his dick not gone down from the surprise of seeing Will there? Usually when he was shocked by someone or something, it was an immediate boner-killer. But seeing Will just seemed to have made it grow even more.
He let out a deep sigh and ambled over to the shower, turning it on full-blast. He slowly got in and immediately began to touch himself, bending over slightly with one arm resting on the shower wall. He was dripping precum. His cock ached. For some reason, the thought of Will gripping his arm during yesterday's movie popped into his mind. Get the fuck out of my head! Jacob thought, but didn't stop from stroking his cock harder and harder.
He felt the tension rise within him and knew it would crest like a wave. Adrenaline surged through his legs to his impossibly stiff cock, and he tried to suppress a moan as he felt the wave crash over him and his muscles tensed up in the falling water.
" Ahhhhh ," he said quietly as he came, hard and fast, over and over into the shower. He watched it drip down and rinse away with the hot water, feeling relieved. Finally, his mind was clear.
He was annoyed that his cock had been so hard and Will had kept floating into his head. I really must be lonely or something , he thought. He liked Will, even more after hanging out with him yesterday. But having another man in his thoughts as he came ? That was a first for Jacob. He was uncomfortable about it, but tried to put it out of his head. He figured it was just because Will was the only person he'd seen for the past couple of days.
He sighed deeply, and slowly straightened his back, showering.
After washing himself and trying to push away any more… odd thoughts about Will, he got dressed and went back out into the kitchen. He found Will hanging out at the kitchen table, scrolling on his phone and drinking a coffee. Will still had bedhead, his hair going in a few different directions, and Jacob had to admit to himself that it was kind of cute. He noticed that Will was still in his boxers, and made a mental not to look down below his waist again. It's not as if he needed any more awkward feelings to drift into his head.
"I'm gonna make some eggs and bacon – want some?" he asked.
"Sure! That sounds great. I could get used to having somebody else make breakfast," Will said.
Jacob laughed a little.
"Well don't get too used to it. Aren't you flying home soon? Arizona, you said?" Jacob asked.
"Yeah. Shit , I still need to get my ticket home! Thanks for reminding me. I can do that later today," Will said.
Jacob cracked the eggs into a bowl, whisking them together with a fork. Will stood up from the table and came over to stand next to Jacob, watching as he worked.
"Damn, you've got a good technique with that whisk. Do you cook a lot?" Will asked. His eyes were open, curious, and Jacob couldn't help but notice the beautiful blue-grey color once again.
"I do actually, yeah. I love cooking. Didn't get too much time to do it throughout school, but I hope I can more once I start my job," Jacob said. It made him nervous to even think about the fact that in three short weeks he'd be working a new, corporate 9-5 job in a brand new city. He went to the fridge and pulled out the bacon, carefully placing each piece in the pan and watching it sizzle.
"I can't cook to save my life," Will said. He had hoisted himself onto the kitchen counter, sitting with his coffee mug in his hand watching Jacob cook. "My ex actually said he'd be surprised if I could cook a bowl of instant ramen noodles."
"Huh. Your ex sounds like a jerk," Jacob said.
"…Yeah, he definitely was. If you could even call someone you only dated for four weeks an ‘ex,'" Will said looking down at the floor.
Jacob noticed a huge shift in Will as he talked about this guy. Will always seemed so upbeat and energetic, but one mention of this mysterious ex and he was deflated.
"Sounds familiar," Jacob said sympathetically, trying to change the subject. "My last girlfriend Carrie dumped me after about two months."
"Jeez, why would anybody wanna dump you ?" Will said, immediately biting his bottom lip and following it up with a "sorry, sorry - I just meant to say that I don't get that. You're headed for a great job, you're athletic, you know how to cook… I'd think you were a catch if I were this girl."
"I guess she didn't," Jacob said. Truthfully, he was still a little hurt by the breakup. "I mean it makes sense that we'd break up, since I'm moving to San Diego. I also did kind of… phone it in to the relationship near the end, but it was just because I could feel it fizzling out. But I don't know. I think I'm just unlucky in love," Jacob said.
"That makes two of us," Will said, taking his phone and snapping a photo of the eggs and bacon.
Jacob felt weird opening up to Will about Carrie. He had always avoided the topic with his friends, but Will really was so easy to talk to. Jacob somehow knew that he wouldn't judge him. He realized that he'd been talking about himself, but hadn't asked Will anything.
"So, you do art and stuff," Jacob said, knowing he sounded like an idiot. Art and stuff? he thought, aware of his lack of conversational skills.
Will laughed. "Yep! Lots of art and stuff. Portraits mainly, but I've also done a little sculpture. Mostly figures," he said.
Jacob glanced over at Will perched on the counter near him. His eyes were alight again, his lips curved into a smile. The sadness of the conversation about his ex was long gone. Success! Jacob thought. He was genuinely glad to see Will happy.
"Figures, cool! …That means people, right? I gotta admit I know nothing about art," Jacob said, grinning.
"That's fine, it's endearing. But yes, figures, the human form. When I'm drawing or painting I usually work from nudes, actually," Will said.
"Gotcha. ‘Draw me like your French girls' type stuff," Jacob said.
"Well, yes, but I tend to prefer French guys instead of girls," Will grinned, "the male form is a lot more beautiful than most people give it credit for."
Damn it , Jacob thought, as Will began to make him internally squirm again. It was bad enough that he'd had that weird dream, but here Will was talking about nude male bodies before breakfast!
"Cool," he managed to say, pretending to be completely involved in making the scrambled eggs.
Will smiled, hopping off the kitchen counter. "I'll show you some of my drawings sometime," he said, heading over to the kitchen table and sitting down again, crossing his legs. Jacob immediately felt uncomfortable again.
Jacob liked Will, a lot. The problem was just wondering how much he liked Will, and how quickly he was becoming fond of him. He'd never felt anything like it before. Jacob felt like he wanted to go take another shower again – this time a cold one.
