Chapter 13

Chapter Thirteen

brISTOL

S ebastian drives me all over the town to try and get all the proper documentation I need to exist legally in the world today. Evidently, we have to contact the vital records department for Wisconsin for my birth certificate. Then from there I can begin applying for the other documentation I need like social security cards and state I.D. Once we get the process going, it shouldn't take too long. Sebastian seems to be convinced that we can get it all done within this week, so I'm trusting him on that because none of this is my forte.

The sun begins to set as we drive out of town.

"What's the first thing you're going to do when your money hits?" He asks, his hand resting on the inside of my thigh.

"Buy you a bed and repay you for everything you've done for me plus interest."

He scoffs and smirks at me. "Ha, that covers a couple hundred dollars. What about the rest of it?"

"We'll figure it out as we go," I reply, squeezing his hand. This is how life is. Bristol and Sebastian .

This doesn't feel real. It's wild to me that a mere few months ago, I was no one. Being beaten and raped and praying for life to either change or end. Now, I've got just shy of a million dollars coming to me, the most amazing man, and a found family in the club. Night terrors, a battered and bruised soul, and a fucked up mind to go with it, but it gets a little better with each day that I spend with Sebastian.

"Where to, my lady?" He asks.

" Hmm , well it's a Saturday night and I haven't lived a whole lot of adult life out in the real world, so what do normal couples do on a Saturday night?"

"I've got just the thing," he grins, switching lanes and turning around to head toward the beach.

We breeze down the highway and when we turn on Beach Boulevard, he rolls the windows down. The smell of saltwater hits me and makes me smile. It makes me think of the first night Sebastian and I came to the beach. The tide was out and we were so playful. Much like the playfulness that is written across his face now as he turns into the parking lot of what I can only assume is a small amusement park.

There's a small Ferris wheel in the center, carnival games on a row off to the left-hand side, and a few other smaller rides in one area, then a go-cart racetrack on the right.

Sebastian kills the truck and smiles at me.

He gets out and walks around the truck to meet me. I slip my hand in his, this sensation becoming like my emotional support item that I want with me at all times.

"I figured this would be just adult enough."

"It's perfect," I say, staring up at him.

We walk through the side entrance, and it feels like we just snuck our way in even though Sebastian swears its free .

The Ferris wheel catches my attention more than anything else. I've always wanted to ride one but was too scared when I was younger.

"Can we ride the Ferris Wheel first?" I ask, looking up at him.

He smiles down at me, amusement lurking in his eyes. "Yes, baby. We can do whatever you want."

We walk around to the ticket booth and Sebastian purchases two wristbands and fastens mine to my wrist. The feel of his fingers pressed into my wrist sends my mind racing with thoughts of him pinning me to the bed, the way his fingers were on that same spot when we were in bed. My body flushes beneath his touch and it doesn't go unnoticed.

"Behave, love, or we'll be catching a public indecency charge on the Ferris wheel."

I dart my tongue over my bottom lip and glance up at him over my lashes.

His laugh is infectious as he drags me toward the line for the Ferris wheel that has about fifteen people in it.

"I've always been too scared to ride the Ferris wheel," I admit while we slowly move through the line.

"What made you change your mind now?"

"You."

"Me?"

"Yeah. You make me feel safe and alive. Like I should do anything I want to because life is too short and I know I have you there with me to support me and cheer me on." I avert my eyes, looking off into the distance, feeling like maybe my admission was a little bit of an overshare. But in true Sebastian fashion, he tilts my face back to his and presses his lips so softly on mine in the sweetest kiss that has the world spinning around us.

"You really are something special, Bristol. "

My feeling of inadequacy is quickly replaced with sass and confidence.

"Eat your heart out, beach boy." I quip, winking at him.

He wraps his arms around my waist and I tilt my head back into his chest while we wait for our turn. My stomach clenches with nerves as we get closer and closer to the front of the line. The valiant warrior I felt like mere minutes ago is replaced with a quivering coward that wants to break and run for it. I stand stoic and maintain my composure, even though fear is grabbing ahold of me. I'm so nervous to get on this ride but as soon as I feel Sebastian's arms tighten around me, everything fades away and I remember I'm a badass who survived the shit that should have fucking killed me so getting on a fair ride shouldn't be an issue.

"Next!" The ride attendant shouts as the people climb out of the cabin.

Sebastian leads me to the open gate of the cabin and I climb in. The cold metal bites against the back of my legs when I sit down and the cabin sways with our weight. The attendant slams it shut and I jump at the sound. Sebastian doesn't try to hide the chuckle that bellows from his lips.

The Ferris wheel moves slowly as the next set of people climb into the cabin below us. We move a little at a time until the Ferris wheel is full and then we pick up speed, moving continuously. The cabin swings and sways and the gust of air rushing by me has me squealing with excitement. Sebastian watches me from across the cabin. He's sitting back, legs spread with an elbow resting on the ledge. He looks so relaxed as he stares at me with those deep green eyes.

"Still scared?" He asks.

I shake my head no.

"Good. "

He slides around until his body is pressed against mine. His hands frame my face as he presses his lips to mine. This time it isn't a soft and sensual kiss. His lips find mine hungrily and his tongue dances with mine. The taste of him sends electricity pulsing directly between my thighs. I squeeze them together, only to be met with Sebastian's hand forcing his way through them. I oblige, letting my legs fall open. My mouth parts and his kisses trail down my neck.

"Bash…" I pant. The warmth of his tongue on my collar bone makes me want to climb on top of him right here, right now.

" Shhh ," he presses a finger to my lips while he slips his other hand beneath my shorts. He slides a finger inside me and my breath hitches in my throat. He wraps his tattooed fingers around my dainty throat and I swear I'm going to explode in seconds. He kisses me hard, biting my lip and finger-fucking me until I'm coming all over his fingers.

He squeezes hard around my throat and I'm unable to scream with my orgasm in the best fucking way possible. His mouth consumes the soft sounds that escape my lips and just when I think I'm going to black out, he releases his grip on my throat. My whole body relaxes and as soon as he pulls his hand from my shorts I already miss his closeness.

Sebastian presses a cum-coated finger to my lips and I open my mouth as he slips it inside. I swirl my tongue around, sucking the me from him. I watch his eyes gloss over with arousal as I pull his finger straight to the back of my throat. I suck hard, and slowly pull his finger from my mouth.

The Ferris wheel comes to a slow stop, leaving our cabin dangling at the very top. I gasp as we rock back and forth and Sebastian's sinister grin tells me he's got more rocking in store.

"Flip over," he rasps, unbuckling his belt.

I do as I'm told. He grabs my hips and slides my shorts down my hips.

I'm gripping the edge of the Ferris wheel cabin as he slowly inches inside me. I bite down on my lip, feeling so full while he's pressed so deep inside. He rocks his hips and I bite my arm to keep from crying out. The cabins around us are full of people and I don't want to draw any attention to us.

Sebastian moves faster, pounding in and out. The cabin is rocking and I feel like we may fall out it rocks so hard. It feels so good, but I can't concentrate because I'm slightly terrified I'm going to fall about fifty feet to my death.

"Hey! Stop rocking up there!" The attendant shouts and I hear Sebastian's low growl as he empties himself inside me.

The cabin begins to slow down and the rocking ceases to a soft sway. I giggle and that pushes Sebastian out of me. He grins and buttons his pants while I pull my shorts back on. We're close to the bottom now with only one or two people in front of us.

"Perfect timing," I smile.

There's an old couple one cabin below us that step off onto the platform and the lady presses her glasses up on her face while giving us a sneer of disapproval. I cackle so unceremoniously that Sebastian jumps, making me laugh harder.

The attendant opens the gate and gives us both a frown as we step off. Sebastian ignores him and dips his hand into my back pocket. We walk through the crowd and the sounds and smells of the carnival float through the air. My stomach growls angrily as the scent of corn dogs and burgers fill my nostrils.

"I need one of those!" I point to the biggest corn dog I've ever seen in my life.

Sebastian makes an abrupt left and gets in line at the food trailer serving them.

"Did you go to carnivals… before?"

I nod. "A few. We used to have a county fair, but I haven't been since I was a little kid. I don't remember much and I'm certain I never rode any rides, especially none like that."

Sebastian's stare darkens at the mention of our Ferris wheel experience and it turns me on even more. I don't know why I cannot get enough of this man. I feel like a love-crazed teenager. No amount of him inside me will ever be enough. I always want more.

The old, overweight lady working the window shouts for the next person in line. Sebastian orders my corn dog and nachos with two lemonades. I smile as he wraps an arm around my waist to move us to the other window while we wait for our food. I can see everything through the glass windows of the trailer and watch as they dip the corn dog then drop it in the fryer while they pile cheese and chili on top of chips for Sebastian's nachos.

My mouth waters at the sight of these delicious treats I can't wait to put in my mouth. The same woman who took our order delivers it with an emotionless face. It makes me feel sorry for her that she doesn't know how truly beautiful her life is, even working in a food trailer at a carnival. Some people forget to see the beauty in their mundane life because they've never known a life of captivity, agony, and a loneliness that words cannot even begin to describe.

"One corn dog special order for the prettiest girl in the world," Sebastian says, presenting the corn dog like it's a golden trophy. I take it happily and grab a few packets of mustard from the flimsy folding table that sits just outside the trailer with condiments and napkins.

"Thank you," I sigh, squeezing a dollop of mustard on top of the corn dog before taking a bite. It's by far the most delicious corn dog I've ever eaten.

" Mmm !" I moan, savoring the bite while we walk down the aisle of carnival games.

Sebastian gives me a side-eye but doesn't say anything.

"Mister! A pretty prize for a pretty girl!" One of the carnies shouts, trying to entice Sebastian to play some game throwing darts at balloons. It seems a fairly simple concept, throw the dart, hit the balloon, reveal a prize. Doesn't seem like there's anything really in it for the owner of the game.

Sebastian shakes his head. "No thanks, man."

We keep walking only to be continuously hounded by every attendant of every single game and with each person's asking I feel like Sebastian is getting more agitated, but he only continues to say, "no thank you," politely while we eat our nachos and corn dog.

"So where did you grow up?" I ask, shoving the last bite of corn dog in my mouth.

"A little shit-hole town in rural Kentucky."

"Do you have family there?" I ask, realizing I've never asked a whole lot of personal questions in our time together. He mostly just protects me, takes care of me, and focuses on me all the time.

He shakes his head no. "I grew up in the system. None of my foster families ever felt like family. They mostly had me there for a paycheck. Don't get me wrong, it could have been much worse. The ones I ended up at were always decent. I didn't go through some of the shit that most foster kids go through, so I'm grateful, but the only family I really have is the club."

"I'm sorry, Bash. I may have been taken from my family, but they were my family. We did everything together growing up. I think I miss my little brother the most. We were really close."

Tears prick the back of my eyes and I blink them away as fast as I can, trying to stop them from falling. Sebastian pretends not to notice and tosses our trash into a nearby trash can, giving me a few seconds to get my shit together so I don't end up a blubbering mess in the midst of all these people. I wipe my eyes and run my hands over my face quickly, trying to go unnoticed.

"I've always wanted to do that DNA thing to see if I do have any relatives out there but never did," he says, slipping his hand back inside mine.

"I think you should. Maybe that'll be one of the first things I do when I get my money," I say, smiling at him.

"I'll get around to it eventually. Come on, let's get out of here. I hear there's a party going on at the clubhouse tonight," he says with a mischievous grin.

We climb into the truck and Sebastian takes us cruising down beach boulevard with the windows down. My hair is blowing all around the cab of the truck and I laugh while trying to get it out of my mouth. The smell of the salt air has become such a comfort that it makes me feel like this is where I was always meant to be.

I know everything happens for a reason, but I'm certain I never would have discovered this place and these people had it not been for the tragedy that I went through for all those years. I'm exactly where I'm meant to be. I'm home.
