POST EPILOGUE

NADIA

" O pen wide, baby." I lean in close to Sho's face, a trickle of blood falling over his cheek and the fucker has the audacity to lick his lips and smile at me.

"Normally," he coughs, "that's what I say."

His skin glistens that beautiful sheen you only get from victims who can withstand the pain, and if he didn't just betray me and my family, I would be tempted to kiss him for being such a good boy for this entire session.

"Not with me, baby." I grip his jaw with my hand, squeezing the sharp edges into my palm. If he bleeds, I bleed, and how delicious is that?

"I bet I could make you say ahhhh," he sings, flashing his bloody teeth at me.

I push his head to the side and lean back from in front of his face. The metal chains dig into his stained t-shirt. The muscles in his biceps protrude from how tight the cuffs around his wrists are, but despite there being no chains holding his legs open, he sits with his back straight, legs spread, eyes a dark hooded mess, and all I can keep thinking is, he would be perfect for me to use.

Sho's head lolls into his chest, but he doesn't wipe that cocky smile off his face. Instead, his tongue flicks the ball of his lip ring and he covers up the next cough with a chuckle. "I can see what you are thinking, Hime."

"Oh?" I purr, sliding my chest against his. The tip of my lips running across the shell of his ear. "What am I thinking?"

"You think you could top me." His lips curl to the left side of his mouth, and the glittering of his eyes as he side glances me has my core tightening.

"You look like a bottom right now," I whisper. "All helpless and tied up in my basement."

I run my stiletto nails sharply down his arms, moaning at the roll of satisfaction that drips from his lips. I can't help myself. I want to poke my tongue out and taste him, get this small piece of him.

"I am only here because I want to be, Hime. Trust me." His breath flutters over my shoulder, and before I know it one hand is free, wrapping my waist length hair around his fist and pulling me across his lap. The bloodied smile shines over me. He looks like something out of the heavens. "If I don't want to be tied up, I won't be."

Here is your next read, Xander and Mel's love story, an InstaLove Romance with a secret pregnancy…

For fuck's sake.

It takes a lot of willpower to keep the groan from escaping the tight clench of my lips. I had a lot more willpower to keep my eyes from shamelessly roaming over her curves.

The young woman in front of me is wearing a neon green bikini, cut so high it barely covers the lush curve of her ass. Her blonde hair in light waves covers her face as she giggles.

"I'm telling you, Gianna, one more minute and I would have drowned in his spit." She bends over to spread her towel on a pool chair, and I almost choke. This isn't even fair at this point. To look like her and tempt me in the enemy's den.

Who is she? Fuck. I shouldn't even be here, but I can't look away.

The younger girl sits next to her in a similar yellow ensemble and jokes, "Talk about a bad kisser. I hope my first kiss isn't all saliva and chin."

"I swear it doesn't even count as a first kiss." She leans back on her chair, and I can't help the words that escape my lips.

"Well, if you want a do-over, I promise I've never gotten any complaints." Her eyes shoot in my direction, looking like a deer in headlights.

She sits up, shakes her hair out of her face, and shoots me a confused look. "Um, excuse me. Who are you? "

How the hell does she not know who I am?

I walk closer, making sure not to look down at her breasts as I hold my hand out, a wry smile on my face. "You first."

She places her hand cautiously in mine, "I am Melissa Sedric." Holy shit, this only gets worse.

She's a Sedric. "I'm Xander. My father has a meeting with the head of the Sedric Family."

A look of alarm skirts across her face, and she pulls her hand away. So, she does know who I am. "You're Xander Amory."

"In the flesh."

Melissa moves closer to Gianna. I smile at how skittish she is. Smart girl.

Our families have been at each other's throats for as long as I can remember. No one knows how the conflict started, but everyone knows it must end one way or another.

"Xander," my name sounds amazing on her lips, "why are you here?"

She cranes her head to the door I'd used. A guard is standing right by it, and she looks surprised to see the guard still standing there.

Maybe she'd thought I'd snuck in. I'd have kept the hell away if I had known they were here.

"Well, you can only listen to two grown men argue for so long." I'd left for a moment of reprieve before I snapped at two of the deadliest men I knew.

The bickering was stupid. We need each other. I don't see the fucking need to deny that .

I keep my eyes firmly on hers, fighting the urge to roam my eyes over her softly glowing skin, the curve of her lips caught between her teeth, and the small scar right on her shoulder where it seems she'd had a fall.

Gianna leans over and looks me over. "Ego will do that to you. Tell me, Xander, do you have a big ego?"

Melissa's eyes bulge out of her head, and she looks at Gianna as if she has lost her mind. "Gianna!"

"When your sister finds out, I'll make sure she reports back." I wink at Melissa, and she shoots up, red blooming along her cheeks. Before she can retort, Daniel's voice breaks in, and she sits back down, a relieved smile parting her full lips.

"There you are; I was wondering where you'd disappeared to!"

Why couldn't he have waited just a second longer? I give her a strained smile and turn towards Daniel, her brother.

He jerks his head at his sisters and smiles softly at them. It's the first time I've seen him smile that way.

"Sorry Xander intruded on you two. I'll take him away now."

"Boo! He was just getting interesting." Gianna pouts as she leans back to sunbathe.

He rolls his eyes. "Trust me, he's boring." Daniel looks at me and nods towards the door. "Neither of our fathers might leave that study alive if we don't get in there soon."

I spare one more glance at Melissa, watching as she nervously nibbles on her pink, plush bottom lip before walking towards Daniel. I can tell she's still looking by the muffled giggles, and it gets louder when we skirt the front door and take a side door into the house .

"Let them kill each other. We'll take our rightful place as the heads and promise not to kill each other." I half-heartedly laugh, and Daniel scoffs.

"Interesting proposition, but you realize both families will be out for blood. There would never be any peace. Best friends, or not."

I suck my teeth. Daniel takes the stairs two at a time, his footsteps stomping over the marble back to the study.

I am itching to end this argument, so I walk ahead of him. So far, I have control over the legal part of the business at Amory Corp. Soon, I will enter the darker part of the corporation, and I want to show I am ready for it.

Daniel turns back to wink at me. "They asked that I bring you in. I'm sure it won't be long now."

I grunt and follow him back to the study, where my father is pacing the length of the large room, his fists bunched at his sides. He waves a hand towards Sedric who is sitting behind his desk, leaning back like he doesn't have a care in the world. "Daniel, did you know your father lacks the grit to run this empire?"

Daniel shrugs, an angry light in his eyes that doesn't reach his voice. "I'm certain you were just about to tell him that. And considering you're in the man's house, you might want to tone it down."

Father continues to snap at Sedric, and I know from his tone that there will be no resolution today. They're too angry to see the bigger picture, and I'm frustrated because that's all I can see.

The legal side of the Amory Corp. teaches you how to be level- headed, and the darker side teaches you how to be ruthless. My father spends too much time in the dark.

"Amory, I'll have your head above my fireplace!"

"Want to bet?!"

I roll my eyes. "If we cannot be civil, then we need to call it a day."

Sedric pauses, looking me over, and so does my father. "Your son is right."

My father sighs. "Tomorrow?"

"Sunday. Outside the church. Even the playing field," I suggest. Both men grunt in agreement. "Great. Bathroom, then we leave. No more shop talk while I'm gone."

Annoyed, I exit the study and go down the stairs, pass by the kitchen, and find the restroom. I use the bathroom, staring at a huge picture of a 1950s woman bent over a toilet bowl with her hand over her lips in a shocked expression.

Her soft blonde curls remind me of Melissa. If I did what I wanted to her, she would look like that, breathless, mouth agape, waiting to be filled.

Fuck. I shake my head clear of her because Daniel would never let me close enough even to try.

I wash my hands at the sink, wishing I was home with my brothers or out there at Amory working; it would be so much better than wasting a big part of my day dealing with this bullshit. I step out of the bathroom, let the door close behind me slowly, walk down the hallway, and almost run smack into her.

Her eyes widened, and she froze right in front of me. Her blonde hair is wet and matted to her head in loose waves .

She's wrapped in a large blue towel. It's short and barely covers her thighs. Without meaning to, my eyes roam over her frame wishing to unwrap her like the present she is.

She scrambles for the folds of the towel but it's already sliding down her sides, her bikini winking out and providing a stunning view of her breasts still snug, and almost slipping from her now wet bikini.

She gasps and I take a step forward, my cock already growing. She pulls the towel over her breasts and exhales a shaky stream of air. "Jeez, that was close."

Not close enough. Her green eyes are staring up at me, half a smile tipping her lips as a blush invades her cheeks. I'm itching to invade her space. The way her eyes rise to mine makes it look as though the sun is rising.

Soon, she starts giggling. My brows furrow and I tip my head back. "What's funny?"

"You should see your face. You look like you've seen a ghost. Come on, I don't look that bad!"

"No, you look that good."

Her laughter turns into a cough, but all I can focus on is the way she licks her lips and gasps. I lean forward so her face is right up against mine and our breathing rolls together in the air.

"Why did you have to be outside the bathroom, right now?"

She licks her lips and sparks flow over my warm skin. "We wanted some fruit," she whispers, as though scared to break the spell between us. I don't know what it is, but I have a death wish because I kiss her .

At first, she stiffens, but I firmly place my hand on her hip, pulling her into my body and she relaxes, opening her mouth for me. I take advantage of the small opening nipping on her bottom lip.

She shifts closer, her breast pushing against my chest. My hand lifts as though of its own accord to her hair, sinking gently into her hair. I anchor my fingers in her hair pulling slightly, and she fucking moans.

The growl growing in my throat pulls me out of the trance and I pull away from her, my forehead leaning against hers as I guide my hand down to cup her neck. She's panting as if she just ran a race.

"What was that?"

"A redo of your first kiss. That's how it should have been."

My fingers brush their way down her shoulders, slide over her collarbone, and lap for a moment around her neck before continuing on to her chest where I stop. She's barely breathing, her chest unmoving under my palm. But her eyes, they're even wider, even hotter, even brighter, and there's a light breaking out in them that burns like the sun, sending streaks of that spreading light right into my chest.

Her frozen stance suddenly brings laughter to my lips. I chuckle lightly, putting my head by her ears and whisper, "That's the kiss you deserved, Sole. Il mio piccolo sole."

Melissa

He kissed me.

Xander kissed me, and it definitely wasn't like Jacob. There was no chin, no excessive tongue.

It was everything I imagined my first kiss to be, but it was from Xander Amory, which means it can never ever happen again.

I walk mindlessly back to the pool, where Gianna is tanning. When I sit next to her, she pokes up with a frown. "Mel, where are the mangoes?"

I look down at my hands, the memory of them pulling Xander's hair, as I pulled him closer into me flashes across my mind.

"Hello? Earth to Melissa! Where are the mangoes?" Gianna's annoyed singing causes me to snap out of my daze and I look at her, blush creeping up my neck.

"Um…I must have forgotten, sorry." I lean back on my chair dismissing her, but she huffs.

"So you were gone for twenty minutes…wait, where is your towel?" Gianna leans over me with humor-filled accusations. "Oh you were naughty!"

"Was not!" I shoot up.

This will be the first secret I keep from Gianna. She doesn't know about Xander. Nobody can.

This is so wrong. It's wrong how he makes my stomach flip, wrong how easily we fit into each other, wrong how we finish each other's sentences. Everything about this is wrong.

Gianna tsks at me as she shakes her head, pointing her finger at me. "I know you like the back of my hand, Mel. I know you better than you know yourself. So spill, or I go to the security room and start looking at cameras."

I sink down, knowing this is not an empty threat, "Fine, but you can't tell anyone. This is a grave secret." I extend my pinky for Gianna to wrap hers around .

She smiles. "My favorite type of secret!" We both kiss our hands and she tucks her crossed legs underneath her. "Now spill!"

"I kissed Xander, well Xander kissed me." Gianna almost jumps out of her skin with a squeal, causing one of the guards to run over.

"Everything okay here?" The guard looks around suspiciously and Gianna rolls her eyes.

"Don't you know happiness when you hear it?" The guard looks at her confused and stays still until she flings her hands, pushing him forward, "Go away!"

Once the guard is gone, she turns back to me. "Tell me everything, matter of fact, reenact it!"

I cover my head in embarrassment, "G, this is so wrong. Father will kill me. Daniel will kill me."

"Well was it just a kiss, or something more?" Gianna wiggles her eyebrows at me hoping for something more, and even though my body comes alive thinking about him touching me again, I shake my head.

"Nothing more, just a kiss." For both of our sakes, it better be just a kiss…Read Claimed By The Mafia Prince FREE With Kindle Unlimited and available on Paperbark.
