A fter a thorough search of the house, we luckily find nothing to indicate there is a bomb inside. Mose and Tyson have also cleared the perimeter around the property before we gather in the kitchen. Rueben and Diva are the last to enter the house.
“Where’s Olivia?” Ansel asks when Rueben closes the door.
Rueben looks around the kitchen. “I thought she was with you guys.”
Ansel grits his teeth. “How the fuck was she supposed to be with us when I left her with you?”
Rueben shrugs. “I told her to stay put before I went to look for Jason’s friends. I’ve had enough of them.”
Ansel runs his hand through his hair. “You are telling me you left our woman alone in the fucking blizzard while she was wearing basically nothing, knowing that she is sick?”
Tyson leaves the kitchen.
“She is not our woman,” Rueben says.
If Rueben and Tyson don’t want Olivia as our bonded, that’s fine. Ansel and I want her. I still don’t know what Mose thinks about it, but he seemed to enjoy being with her. Ansel and I have already started the bonding process and it won’t be long now until our demons anchor themselves to her. My demon likes her very much and I am slowly falling in love with her. I have lost too much in life to give up on Olivia. She is the one for me. Rueben and Tyson can fuck off if they don’t agree with Olivia being our wife. Ansel and I are more than enough to take care of her. Maybe Mose will agree to stay with us.
I shift my weight ono my good leg. I should start thinking about making my hobby with horses into a profitable business. There are plenty of horse owners who need help and I need their money to spoil Olivia. And if she can only have children via IVF, then I have to start saving up money.
“What about Miss Teapot?” I ask.
“The Diseased Cunt has her,” Rueben lets me know.
Olivia will keep my cat safe. Our cat, I quickly correct myself.
Ansel slams his palms on the table. “Her name is Olivia!”
“So what?” Rueben snorts. “Her pussy is still nasty as fuck. I still don’t get how you stuck your dick inside her. Aren’t you afraid it will get infected and fall off or something like that?”
Ansel’s eyes flash a strange shade of red.
“We can argue after we find her,” Mose chimes in.
Tyson returns with a wool blanket in his hands. “What are you all still doing here? Can’t you see it’s a damn blizzard outside and the bitch might freeze to death?”
We leave the house and look for Olivia everywhere but there’s no trace of her. We find Miss Teapot’s basket where I left it. Thinking that the two of them took refuge in the barn, we go there. It is the logical option since it is warm inside.
For a few seconds, I feel relieved thinking we found them, but except for the horses, Diva, and the goat, there is no one else in the barn.
I start to feel uneasy, but I refuse to think that something has happened to Olivia. She is my dream woman. Sweet, submissive, beautiful, smart, and most importantly, she needs me. I am into women who are dependent on their men. Not because I want to control Olivia but because I want her to need me as much as I need her. Women are smart and strong enough to not really need a man in their lives, especially if said men are a pain in the ass like my brother was. This is why I’ve always wanted a woman like Olivia, a woman who won’t wake up one morning and realize she deserves something better.
I want Olivia to need me, to crave me, to be on the verge of a panic attack if she is left alone in the house. To be emotionally dependent on my blood-brothers and me. It might be fucked up, but I have seen a lot of women leave their husbands or cheat on them. That won’t happen to me. I will keep her pregnant and barefoot and whatever it takes for her to never think about leaving us. To never think she can find better men. I will kill any prick that dares touch her. I might be all for women’s rights, but when it comes to my woman, I want her to want to breathe only for my blood-brothers and me. There is no way in hell I will ever hurt Olivia, but not finding her is driving me crazy. What if something actually has happened to her?
After we leave the barn, we decide to go to the shed in the hopes we will find Olivia there. To our shock, Jason is also missing.
“Fuck!” Tyson yells as he picks up a piece of rope from the floor. “That bitch cut the rope, set Jason free, and left with him.”
Pain shoots through my heart. Olivia didn’t leave us. Her brother made her a pornai and let men abuse and rape her. Why would she want to go back to that life when she can stay with us and let us take care of her? It makes no sense. Tyson and Rueben might have treated her like shit but I tried my best to take care of her. In the beginning, it wasn’t because I liked her, but because my demon felt something for her. He rarely shows any interest in women, but any time I am around Olivia, I have this warm feeling inside my chest.
Ansel takes out his phone. “There’s only one way to know what really happened: let’s check the video cameras.”
Ansel unlocks the phone’s screen and quickly goes to the app for the video cameras and looks for the footage of the shed. The rest of us gather around him and watch how Jason—his chest and arms tied to the back of the chair with rope—rocks the chair back and forth until he slips a hand in the back pocket of his pants. From there, he takes out a knife and starts cutting the rope.
“And you blamed Olivia for nothing,” Mose says to Tyson.
Shrugging, Tyson comments, “Just because she didn’t help Jason escape doesn’t mean she didn’t willingly leave with him. Maybe she misses being fucked by countless men daily.”
Ansel fists his free hand.
Why can’t Tyson admit he was wrong about Olivia?
“We should have checked if Jason had any weapons on him,” Rueben mutters.
It doesn’t take long for Jason to set himself free and leave the shed.
Ansel goes through the other footage until he gets to the one from the barn and we see how Olivia enters together with Miss Teapot. After putting Miss Teapot on the floor, Olivia goes to pet Diva, and a few minutes later, Jason enters. Moments later, he turns around, kicks my cat out in the cold and leaves.
“I am going to fucking kill him when I get my hands on him!” I snarl.
There aren’t cameras on the outside of the barn, but when Olivia goes after Jason, it is clear she left with him.
“We need to find them!” Tyson snarls.
To my shock, everyone agrees with Tyson. Even Rueben.
“I will send a message to Cirro and Isak and ask them to help us find Jason and Olivia,” I say as I pull out my phone from my front pocket.
Isak and his blood-brothers—Steven, Gavin, and Mads—moved to Veross City about a year ago and we quickly became friends.
After we talk to our friends, we return to the house to get ready to look for Olivia. We don’t know where Jason lives and we can’t risk him disappearing with Olivia. If that happens, it can take weeks, months even, to find her. What if he takes her back to the Celestial Heaven? It’s practically impossible for Lords to find that place.
After we grab our gear, we gather in the kitchen to talk about some last-minute details when Tyson’s phone rings.
“Unknown number,” Tyson says, but still answers. “Who is this?”
The distorted voice of a woman replies. “I can be an enemy or an ally. It all depends on you.” Tyson frowns. “Don’t look so confused, I am the one that put your phone on speaker. And yes, I hacked the camera inside the kitchen as well.”
I take out my phone to try to turn off the camera but I can’t unblock the screen.
The woman keeps talking. “Since men easily get distracted, I made sure you pay attention only to me until we finish talking.”
“What do you want?” Ansel asks.
“To decide if I return Olivia to you or if I make sure you never find her again,” the woman says. “Listen up, fuckers, if you don’t want the bonds with Olivia to break, you will do exactly as I say.”
Tyson growls. “What bonds?”
