16. Brock
Chapter sixteen
Brock
I didn't think having someone else in my space would feel this right. Watching him move around my house made me never want to let him leave again. I wanted him permanently installed at my table, in my living room, and in the bedroom. The thought that I could truly be happy here if I could wake up to Eddy wrapped around me every morning kept circling through my brain. Seeing him working there at my table every day only made me want it more.
Leaning against the casing separating the dining room from the kitchen, I watched him work. Things seemed to be going nicely, even though they were also taking longer than expected because most of the equipment he needed had to be ordered online, and it took longer to ship. He couldn't get most of this from Amazon, and we sure didn't have anywhere local to shop for what he needed. Not even in the next town over. We might be able to find it in Sacramento, but I didn't want to make the drive, and selfishly, I was okay with it taking longer. Him being here longer.
He made me want to have fun. Want to play. And we did. We played cards at the kitchen island or in the living room. We played Mario Kart, which happened to be the only game I was any good at on my consul, but then he also started teaching me the game he'd developed. I had actually heard of it but never tried it.
It was called Splash Zone, but the only splashing was at the very beginning of the game. Some amazing animation showed a squadron of people being dropped into the ocean. Some took vehicles, and some had scuba gear, but they all went under the water. Down, down, down. The divers headed one way and the vehicles the other. The action stayed with the divers.
"This is the best part," Eddy whispered right before sea monsters rose from the bottom, attacking the squad. But they weren't simply giant octopuses or anything, more like some kind of Kracken thing and seahorses with sharp teeth. And they were being guided by gilled humanoid creatures. The human squad panicked but fought back, retreating into a sunken ship, and that's where the gameplay started. The idea was to get the squad through the ship and to the escape vehicle on the other side of the trench. And you had to fight the sea creatures to do it.
"There's a lot of adventure stuff to find in the trench, depending on what the player chooses to do," Eddy explained as he made his character dive deeper into a hidden room and toward a treasure chest. "Kind of like a choose your adventure game. Remember those books?"
"Yeah. I loved those when I was a kid." Pops had bought a slew of them for me, and I'd enjoyed the hell out of them. "I used to take them under the house with a flashlight and read for hours."
Eddy smiled, making his face light up, hazel eyes gleaming. "I can see that." He played a little more, showing me some of the gems hidden around the room. "The difference with this game though, is the first-person shooter aspects and the sea creatures you have to fight. Like. This." One of the creatures leapt, or rather swam fast, through a porthole. Eddy's game character fought as he jiggled the controller around. "The new game will still have that first-person shooter aspect, but the rest will be a mash-up of all kinds of things."
The game was creative and showed me how brilliant he truly was, and I had no doubt his new game would be as good or better.
Eddy closed the laptop he was working on and glanced over at me with that same sweet smile. "Everything should be here tomorrow."
"Good." I wasn't ready to lose him though, and I frowned.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing. Hey. Let's go check on Jackie at Books and Beans."
"And Buns." He wiggled his eyebrows. That had been a thing with us. He liked the play on words. Even though the Buns in the shop's name referred to sticky buns that went with the coffee, he liked to joke that it meant my buns. If he was standing near me when he said it, he grabbed my ass. I chuckled at his antics, loving his playful side that brought out the best in me.
"Yeah, well…" I shrugged. "You can have my buns when we get back."
"Gonna hold you to that mister." Eddy grabbed my hand and kissed my knuckles.
"Romantic now?" I asked.
Then he licked between my fingers. "Mmm…tasty."
I laughed and grabbed him, lifting him off his feet so I could hear him squeal. "Come on. Grab a helmet."
Twenty minutes later, we ducked into the bookstore.
"What's up?" Jackie looked up from his laptop that he'd set up at the front desk to work on his stuff while manning the store.
"Came by to see how you're doing." I knocked on the desk.
Jackie flipped his hand in the air. "Eh…Was busy earlier, but it's almost closing time, and most people are gone."
"Sure. Why don't you go ahead and take off then? We'll lock up."
"Alright. Hey, did you hear there's going to be some kind of auction for the fire truck?"
"Nope, but they've been raising funds forever for that." I shrugged.
"What's that?" Eddy asked.
"We need a new fire truck, I guess," Jackie answered as he packed up his work stuff. "Anyway. I'll let you know if I hear anything else."
"Sure. Thanks."
Jackie waved. "Nice seeing you again, Eddy." Then he winked.
Eddy blushed. "Right. Thanks."
Jackie went out the front door. And I turned to look at Eddy. He was looking around the store. "I made some changes."
"Looks good. And it really smells like cinnamon buns in here."
I took a glance around, and Jackie had been right. Everyone had left the store. I figured I should take advantage of that. "I'll show you some buns. Come on." I grabbed Eddy's hand and pulled him to the back of the store. He must have known what I had in mind as he followed easily and snorted a laugh on the way.
I shoved him into my office and kicked the door shut. I grabbed his waist and pulled him in for a long, dirty kiss, demanding everything from him with my tongue and the press of my body.
Eddy's response, pushing into me and working his hands under my shirt to get to bare skin, warmed my gut. And made everything feel urgent. I didn't want to waste time here. Frantic for him, I unbuttoned his pants, shoving them down, and manhandled him to sit on the back of my desk. Then I dropped to my knees.
His cock was lovely. The little divot in the front made his head an arrow pointing straight up. I licked the spot and watched as pre-cum leaked from the top. It curved in a bit toward his abs, so I pulled it away from his body and lowered my mouth over the head. I licked and teased him until he bucked his hips and moaned. "P-Please, Brock."
"Yes…" I hissed as I bobbed my head down over that delicious cock, already salty from the fluid seeping out his tip. This man made me crazy. I wanted him irrationally, and knowing how crazy I felt only fueled my passion and desire. Now determined to make him come and fast, I doubled my efforts, fisting the base of his cock, letting my drool drip over his dick and onto his balls. The slurping sound filled the little office.
"Oh, fuck. Oh…" Eddy shifted and punched his hips up, trying to get more of his dick in my mouth.
I hummed around his cock, wanting him to enjoy it, to fuck my mouth. I was so turned on my cock was rock-fucking-hard and pressing almost painfully against my jeans.
"Brock, shit." He hunched over me. "I think someone came in the front door. Did we lock it?"
I hadn't, but I wasn't stopping. I hummed again and sucked harder, bobbing faster.
"Fuck…oh fuck…" Eddy started babbling. "C-Coming. Brock, I'm coming."
And his dick pulsed under my tingling lips, squirting his seed in my mouth. I swallowed fast and took even more. When I finally pulled off him, he wore an evil smile. "What?"
"I didn't hear anyone. I lied."
"Fucker." But I laughed a bit. It had upped the urgency for sure. But then I did hear the front bell.
"Shit." I wiped my mouth on the bottom of Eddy's shirt, and he pushed me away. "Get dressed."
I slipped out the door and headed back to the front of the store, hoping I didn't look like what we'd been doing with my hair disheveled from his fingers in them and lips swollen and red. I went anyway. "Can I help you?" I asked as I approached the front desk where Jackie had been camped out earlier.
A teenager stood near the door, looking around, and he jumped a bit when I called out. "Oh, hi." He stuck out his hand, but not to shake. He held out a piece of paper. "Can you like put this up? In your window or something? Like, it's for a fundraiser thing."
"What fundraiser thing?" I took it from him, wondering if it was the auction thing Jackie had mentioned. I looked down, figuring it out myself, before he had a chance to explain. The town was indeed holding an auction to raise money for a new fire truck. A bachelor auction. Images of hot firemen rolled through my head, and they were personal since I knew them all. And maybe the new local vet. He was hot. Or Percy from the bakery. Maybe those two should get together.
"Uh…they. They need more bachelors too?" Was he asking me to volunteer? No way.
I shook my head. "Good luck with that. But I'll put it in the window."
"Uh, okay…like, thanks, you know?"
"Sure, man." I held the flyer up, letting him know I had it, and then he left with a wave.
My hand was still in the air when Eddy finally joined me in the front of the store. "What's that? Who was here?"
"That fundraiser thing Jackie was talking about." I showed him the flyer, and he laughed.
"Oh shit. They still do this kind of thing? Ha. Jackie should sign up to be a bachelor."
"Yeah, right." I couldn't imagine anyone bidding on him, but what did I know? "And in the fall, they have another one. That's annual. It includes a bakewalk."
"What the heck is that?"
"You've heard of a cakewalk, right?" He shook his head. "Yeah, well, basically people donate cakes, but in this case, any baked goods, and then you pay to get in the competition for a chance at winning." I made a face thinking about the pie my Pops won the year I left for college. It had been terrible, and I thought Evelyn had donated the gross pastry.
"You don't look like you enjoy it."
"Sometimes what you win isn't…I don't know, good."
Eddy laughed again, and the sound rang through my heart. I couldn't keep the smile off my face. "Maybe we should grab some of the good baked treats left at the counter and take a walk?"
"Sure. And you can tell me more about this fun -raiser stuff."
I laughed at his pun and grabbed his hand, lacing our fingers together. "Come on." I tugged on his hand, we picked up a couple of cinnamon rolls and poured to-go cups of coffee.
It didn't take long to close the store, and then we walked down the main street with our treats. I told him how the town had been trying to raise money for the fire trucks for a while. And he had some good ideas of things I could do at the shop to help. I also pointed out all the shoppes and talked about who owned what. I waved at Haven as we passed the garage.
"I love the names." Eddy finished his cinnamon roll, licked his fingers then wiped his hands on his jeans.
"Names?"
"Of the stores… Twisted Chassis, Shear Bliss." He thumbed over his shoulder. "Don't Go Bakin' My Heart."
"Hmm…that's where I get the baked goods."
"Yeah, well, the names are great. So's yours."
"Really?" I didn't know what to think. "I kind of thought it was, I don't know, cheesy, or something."
"It is. That's why I love it."
I nudged his shoulder. "Whatever. Let's go back. I want to show you some other things."
We went back down the street and got my bike so I could drive out of town and up to places I liked to ride and hike. The countryside was gorgeous this time of year. New wildflowers blooming like the delicate purple of bitterroot, the wild buckwheat that spread yellow across the field, the white of Congdon's onion, and so many others that I didn't know in soft reds and striking blues.
I stopped at the overlook so he could get a good look at the flowers stretching away from the road. "So pretty!" Eddy seemed taken by the fields, even as the sun was dipping down, casting long shadows.
"You should see them mid-day if you like them now."
"Yeah. We'll have to come back. Maybe on a lunch break or something."
"Sure." Based on that, I already started planning to take him out for a picnic.
After our stop, we drove home. Eddy pulled his helmet off with a sigh. "That was a nice break, but I need to get back to this." He started back in on his computer building, and since I needed to take care of him, I started dinner.
When the simple meal of mac and cheese with hot dogs was ready, I called for him to join me in the kitchen. We ate with nice conversation, and afterward, Eddy pulled out some medicine bottles and took a few pills. I wanted to ask about it, but I trusted him. He seemed calmer and more stable than the first time he'd been here. And now I was falling for him hard. Every day that went by gave me more things to like about Eddy. Including holding his hand. Taking care of him. Making dinner and watching him eat. Maybe I was getting a bit stalkery . Was that even a word? Did I care?
No. Because Eddy was amazing. And when we were in bed, he was perfect. We fit like we'd been fucking our entire lives, which was stupid and mushy, but still…we meshed. The dynamics worked. He let me boss him around and manhandle him when I wanted. But I could also be gentle, and Eddy easily moved into a tender mode that made him achingly sweet. I wanted that in my life always.
"I'm making great progress. The computer should be done in a few minutes. Only a few tweaks left. Then I have to build a trap." He wiped cheesy goodness off his chin with a paper towel. I'd wanted to lick it off his face, but maybe we could save that for later.
First, I was curious. "Trap? What kind of trap?"
"A software security trap that will trigger and capture the IP address of whoever the fuck is trying to sabotage me." His brows dipped low over his eyes, and I wanted to rub my thumb over the wrinkles marring his forehead. This was what I thought of as his fierce look. His expression was angry, determined, and brave. I kind of loved him for it. If someone tried to attack me the same way, I don't know if I would be as strong as him.
"You're resilient." The words blurted out of my mouth without much thought and were tinged with a resonance of awe.
Eddy stared at me for a second, fork hanging in the air between his plate and his mouth. Then he snorted. "Shut the fuck up."
I felt the blush crawling up my throat and into my cheeks. "I mean it."
"I finished dinner…" he whispered, picking up his plate. Heat was growing rapidly between us.
"Put it down. We'll get it later." I could feel the zing of tension in the air.
Then he grinned wickedly. "Race you."
Without another word, we were running up the stairs, elbowing each other. Eddy yanked his shirt off and threw it in my face to gain the lead. I growled, right on his heels. I was bigger than him, but that fucker was fast. And I loved it. The challenge, the fun, everything.
By the time I burst through the bedroom door, I was panting, my cock hard as a rock, and my shirt off. I ripped open the fly of my jeans and stalked toward the bed where Eddy sat desperately trying to get his pants off. I grabbed the bottom of his pant legs and yanked, sending him backward. "Shit. You okay?"
"Yes. Fucking hurry." He scrambled back on the bed, naked and appetizing.
Taking off the rest of my clothes was another race and every move kept time with my thundering heart. I couldn't get to him fast enough. I lunged, landing on the bed beside him. I pulled him close to me, writhing against him. Skin on skin. I mouthed over his throat and moaned.
Eddy hissed. "Need you."
"You're gonna get me." I flipped him to his stomach. "Don't worry." I couldn't keep my eyes from feasting on all that naked skin of his back and the bubble of his ass. I squeezed it and then slid my hands up and down. Simply feeling him.
"What are you doing—?"
I smacked his ass, stopping his complaining and making him moan again. Then I squeezed it and spread his cheeks. His hole was begging me to tease it. Leaning in, I licked around the edge until Eddy squirmed and begged. He moaned around his words. "More…more…"
That could be accommodated. I flattened my tongue and lathed over his hole. I'd never been huge on rimming, but Eddy was irresistible. After another round of more, I speared into him. In and out, I fucked him with my tongue. I had to grab his hips to hold him still and keep him from bucking and grinding.
Then, my little programmer surprised the hell out of me. "Holy bootyjob, Butt-man…"
I laughed so hard I had to stop what I was doing. I flipped him over to his back, and when I finally caught my breath, I leaned over and said, "Yes, Robin. It's getting too hot to handle here. But the butt-cave is the only safe place for you right now."
"No… I think the Robin Cave is the best place for you and your…butteringram? Butt-rammer?"
I chuckled. "Yes. I'll ram your butt with it first. Then we'll track down the criminal keeping us here."
"Just tell me Alfred won't be interrupting."
"Not a chance." I spread his legs and took a good look at his cock, standing straight and tall, trying to pull away from his stomach. I rubbed my hand down it longingly before leaning to the side to grab the lube. Thankfully, there weren't any more cheesy exchanges while I prepped him. Nothing but gasps and groans from him. By the time my cock was hard and eager, leaking pre-cum like a sink with a worn-out seal, Eddy grabbed my hand and shoved me away.
"No more. No. Fuck me. Now."
I put the condom on, then moved around until I had my dick lined up to that sexy hole, then pressed forward and breached it. Eddy gasped. "You okay?"
"Yeah, yeah. Keep." He swallowed hard. " Keepgoing ," he hissed, running the words together.
I didn't. I pulled out and added more lube. Eddy protested the whole three seconds it took, but there was no way I was hurting him. The second try worked better. My cock eased in, and I slowly shifted my hips forward until I could go no farther.
Eddy made a gurgling noise, so I waited until he started panting. Then, ever so slowly, I pulled out. My hips and thighs shook, and my groin tingled, all demanding I slam into him, but I ignored those instincts. I moved as slowly as humanly possible until Eddy grabbed the skin at my sides and dug his nails in. "Fucking fuck me fucker." He was opening up so much, and his dirty-mouthed comments in bed showed it, and I kind of loved it. A lot.
With his demands, I picked up the pace, and soon I was giving him exactly what he asked for—a good hard fucking. I quickly had him chanting yes, yes, yes, with a few fucks thrown in for good measure. Until he wrapped his legs around me, high on my waist, and yelled out, "Brock! Now!"
I leaned up and grabbed his cock that had been trapped between us, stroking it as fast as I could, but not as fast as I thrust my hips, but it didn't matter. He came hard, shooting between us as he made animalistic noises. He was so fucking hot and sexy. He had me chasing my orgasm, wanting to come on over with him. Thankfully, it didn't take much more than looking at his fucked-out face with his eyes rolled back and his tongue poking out of the side of his mouth. Knowing I put that expression on his always intelligent but sometimes frantic face had me grunting. My balls pulled up tight, and I came with deep-throated moans of my own.
