10. Brock
Chapter ten
Brock
E ddy spent the rest of the day on his laptop set up at my kitchen table, shushing me when I tried to interrupt. But he needed food. I couldn't let him starve to death. So, finally, after nine that night, I ordered pizza. He didn't notice when I did or when it came, so I grabbed a slice and stuck it under his nose.
His head came up and his stomach growled. "Mmm… Yeah, maybe a quick break." He rubbed his eyes with one hand and reached for the pizza with the other.
I didn't let him have it but led him to the kitchen island. "Yeah. You totally need a break."
He ate half a slice before looking up at me and mumbling with a full mouth. "Sorry. Busy."
"I know. Not that I know what you're doing, but maybe you can get a good night's sleep before going back at it?"
He nodded and smiled sheepishly before taking another bite of pizza. "Fuck. You're gonna make me fat feeding me like this." He held up what was left of the crust before shoving that in his mouth too.
"Nah. There's not an ounce of fat on you. Unlike me." I patted my little belly.
"Uh-uh." He swallowed. "That's not fat. It's fluff. And I like it."
"You do, huh?" I teased. "Maybe you want to see more of it? Upstairs?"
He had picked up another piece of pizza and then turned to gaze at me. Whatever he saw made him drop the pizza and stand, scooting his stool back. "Upstairs sounds good. Race you?"
"Oh, you're on." We took off toward the stairs, me chasing after him and pinching his butt as we went, making him squeal adorably.
He dashed across the landing, burst through the bedroom door, and then leapt onto the bed. He jumped around, daring me to come after him with martial arts-like hand movements. "Oh, you want this? Come get it, big guy."
I laughed hard but still lunged for him. "Get off my bed with your shoes, you heathen."
"Heathen, eh?" He flopped on his ass and tore his shirt off over his head. "I'll show you heathen."
That was all I could take of his playing around. I tackled him, pinning his hands over his head. "Got you now, heathen."
He opened his mouth to say something else, and I was pretty sure he meant that to be a snarky comment, but he never said it since I covered his mouth with mine. I kissed him hard with my tongue, demanding entrance. He caved fast, relaxing under my bigger body.
When the kiss ended, he sighed deeply.
"What?" I asked him seriously.
"I…" He pursed his lips together, and I could practically see his brain spinning as he thought of how he wanted to say whatever he would say. "This is fun. You're fun. I like you a lot, but I probably should go back down and finish trying to hack into Queen Games."
"You're hacking your own company?"
"Yes. I have to figure out what's going on, and I can't think of another way to do it. But it hasn't been going well. I'm afraid they'll figure out it's me."
I rolled my eyes. "You can't leave off for one night? You need to sleep. I heard brains work better that way. You know, rested?"
Eddy's face scrunched up, and I could tell I said the exact wrong thing. "I know I've been paranoid and anxious and maybe obsessive over this at times but it…this is real. And I'm in danger. You're in danger being with me. You need to take this seriously. I'm not crazy. I swear."
"I don't think you're crazy. I get it. And I know you need help. If you won't go to the police, I'm all you have. And I don't know what to do but I'm here. Okay?"
"I don't know if that's enough."
"It's enough for now." He opened his mouth to protest, but I squeezed his wrists. "For now." Then I got bossy. "Right now, you're gonna do what I tell you." I lifted an eyebrow, questioning whether he was going along with me.
I stood, still unsure if he was going to follow me. But when he gave me a quick nod of ascension, it was enough, and I would run with it. "Get undressed, Eddy."
He smiled slyly as he stood, tugging at the button of his jeans. He undressed down to his underwear.
"Those too." I flicked my fingers at him.
He scowled but obeyed, shoving the offending material down his legs. Then he stood there, naked and glorious.
"You're about the best thing I've ever seen. Definitely, the best that's been in my bed." I grabbed him, lifting him off his feet and tossing him on the mattress. He was small enough to manhandle him all over the place, so I did. I touched every part of his body while I moved him here and there, simply because I could. And Eddy preened under the attention.
Finally, I flipped him to his stomach, pushed his hands out, and grabbed his hips. He yelped when I yanked his ass up. "Guess what, Eddy. Jackie slid me a condom when we were at Pints. You still want me to fuck you? Because I'm dying to get inside you."
"Brock…" My name slipped from his tongue, breathy and full of longing.
"I need a clear yes, Eddy."
"Yes. Clearly, yes."
I smacked his ass. "Don't be snarky."
Eddy snorted a laugh and wiggled his ass, so I slapped it again. "Be still. Don't move." He finally stilled, so I pulled the condom out of my pocket and dropped it on the bed beside him. Then I got undressed and grabbed the lube. "I'm not stopping this time. Not until I'm buried deep inside you. Say yes if you want that."
"Yes," Eddy hissed.
"Good." I prepped him, taking my time and using plenty of lube. I might be bossy and aggressive, but I wasn't going to hurt him. I would bite that plump ass, though. I leaned over and nibbled on his cheek, then kissed and licked it in the same spot.
Eddy grunted. "Brock," he admonished, but I shut him up when I feathered my fingers over his balls.
"What, Eddy?"
"N-Nothing."
"Good." I massaged his nuts, and his body shivered. "I've got you."
Eddy made some kind of noise low in his throat. It made my cock leak more pre-cum. I wanted to fuck him into the mattress. I took my time prepping him, though, and when he was ready, I grabbed the condom, rolling it down my length. Then I lined up my cock and pushed in slowly. He was so tight, even after all the prepping, and scorching hot. We both let out loud, obscene moans.
It didn't take long to get a good rhythm, though I started slowly. My hips seemed to have a mind of their own, and I squeezed his hips as I pumped in and out of him. I watched my cock tunnel in and out. Eddy grabbed the sheets, scrunching them in his fingers as sweat beaded up along his long back. The sight made me need to see his face. I pulled out.
"Uh—what?"
I chuckled and flipped him over. "Want to see you." I slid back in and leaned forward between his knees and kissed him.
He kissed me back and then pushed my shoulders. "Want you to fuck me."
"Okay, gamer. Hold on." I grabbed his legs, pulling them up to my shoulders and lifting his ass off the mattress.
When I started fucking him again, his eyes squeezed shut and he chanted, "Right there, there, right there."
So I kept that angle but fucked him faster and harder until his words were no longer comprehensible.
"Yeah. Yeah. Eddy. Fuck." I felt the orgasm nearing, and I was ready for it. Needed it. But I wanted him to come first. "Fuck. Come, Eddy. Stroke your cock."
He panted and thrashed his head back and forth. But didn't grab his dick.
I growled but let go of one of his legs to jack him. "You need to come." I squeezed his cock and stroked it a few times. Then he moaned and came hard, squirting over my hand and across his chest. The combination of seeing his pleasure on his face, hearing the sounds we were making—skin slapping and low moans—and seeing his come splatter had me coming right behind him. I came so hard I was worried I would blow out the condom. When my body stopped shaking from it, I grabbed the base of the rubber and pulled out. My legs and hips were finished, but I didn't want to collapse on top of him.
I rolled to the side and dropped the condom in the trash can beside the bed. "Fuck…that was good. You okay, Eddy?" I asked, turning back and pulling him to me.
"Mmm…" He pressed his face against my chest. "Never better."
I had to get up to start the coffee, having totally forgotten to set it up the night before. In my defense, Eddy had me all kinds of distracted. And probably thinking with my little head a bit too much. But honestly, I was happy I could get him to relax. Once I had the java brewing, I opened the fridge to find something for breakfast, but it was pretty empty. I didn't even have eggs or milk. I normally ate sticky buns at the store, which was why I was starting to get that little pooch around my tummy. That thought had me texting Jackie to make sure he got there for the delivery.
His response was quick: Fuck off! I got this.
Well then. I dropped the phone on the counter. One less thing to worry about. Until the knock at the back door. For fuck's sake, that had to be Evelyn. She lived down the road and didn't come over much, but when she did, it was always the back door.
"Yoohoo! Brock."
I opened the door against my better judgment, but only the top part of the Dutch door, hoping it would keep her out of the house and the conversation short. "Good morning, Evelyn."
"Good morning. Are you feeling okay, Brock?" she asked, leaning in.
"I'm fine, thank you. Why do you ask?" Why the fuck did I ask her that?
"You're here. Not at the store. That never happens." She tutted. She fucking tutted me.
"Jackie's there. I, uh, have company." And now I was really in for it. Evelyn couldn't leave things like that alone. I knew better than to feed her more gas for her gossip fire. I had to blame it on the manners and respect for my elders that I had had ingrained in me since birth. There was no other logical explanation. Thanks, Pops.
"Oh? Company? And who might that be?"
I didn't even bother trying to answer her. She started in on some kind of tirade that I only half listened to. Instead, I wandered over to the coffee pot and pulled out three cups. This was going to be a long morning.
Sure enough, Evelyn let herself in. "Don't mind if I do. I only had the one cup this morning, and you know I could always use another, especially when we're chatting about your new friend. Or friends?" She raised an eyebrow.
I poured a cup and handed it to her, gesturing to the island. "Plenty of fixings, but I don't have milk."
"Oh, this is fine." She dumped sugar into her cup and pulled up a stool nearly simultaneously. She had a flower-printed windbreaker over loose denim pants tucked into pink wellies, not that it was raining. In fact, rain wasn't in the forecast at all. But this time, I pressed my lips together, forbidding myself from digging in deeper with her. Especially since I heard Eddy's footsteps coming down the stairs.
I poured him a cup and added sugar.
"Uh, hi." He reached for the cup I handed him.
"Morning, sunshine," I said with a wink. "This is Evelyn. A, uh, neighbor."
"A neighbor?" Evelyn huffed. "Why, I'm more than a neighbor. I've known Brock all his life. I used to babysit him. That was back when I was president of the Babysitters Coalition of Foggy Basin. The BCFB for short. We had a whole group that would help out the moms and dads when needed, and I even changed this one's diapers."
"Yes. Thanks for that intro, Evelyn. This is Eddy. He's staying with me for a bit." I shook my head and rolled my eyes behind Evelyn's back to let him know she was full of shit. She claimed to be a part of every organization under the sun in Foggy Basin. But I was pretty sure none of them ever existed outside her imagination or delusions of grandeur. People gave up correcting her about it long ago. That was just Evelyn.
"Well. Thank you. And it is so nice to meet you, Mr. Eddy."
"Just Eddy, please. And it's nice to meet you as well." He sipped his coffee, smartly not giving her any other information. He probably caught on to that quickly and was obviously way smarter than me.
"Sorry, I can't offer much else. I haven't been to the grocery store in a while. That's probably the first thing we need to do today. So, thanks for stopping by, Evelyn." I tried to hurry this morning's party along.
She sat her cup down on the island. "Oh, no problem at all. Just wanted to make sure you were alright. And I see that you are." She winked at me.
Eddy turned around to stare at me with wide eyes, but I had no answers, so I smiled. Thankfully, Evelyn only chatted with us for another twenty minutes or so before she had to go. Thankfully—really thankfully. Though, I was sure she was anxious to meet up with Reuben, the mailman who delivered gossip with his letters. The two of them would have word of Eddy staying with me all over town by the end of the day. I wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing, and I didn't want to bother worrying him with one more thing. It was out of our hands.
"We really do need to go to the grocery store, though," I said as I shut the back door on Evelyn's departure.
"Well, then." Eddy burst out into a fit of giggles, which I didn't immediately join in on because I wasn't sure what the fuck he was laughing about, but then I ended up laughing with him. He was a little contagious.
