20. Queen of Orgasms

Chapter 20

Queen of Orgasms

Jade

Don’t cry. Don’t cry. Don’t cry.

I was sick and tired of all the emotions and the sheer number of tissues I’d been using over the past week. Granted, I had a good reason to cry, but not today. Tyler wasn’t worthy of any more of my tears. If anything, he’d done me a big favor by getting his side-piece pregnant.

“What do you need from me?” Noah brought my hand to his lips, kissing the back of it.

And yup, there went a few pesky tears.

“I’m fine.” I looked toward the field where things were getting ready to start. “Let’s just watch the game.”

“We can leave... or go crash the dad party in the Badden suite.” He brushed a tear away on the cheek facing him .

“If we leave, they win.” I grabbed my beer from the cupholder and guzzled it down in one go.

“If we leave, they lose.” He handed me the rest of his beer. “You don’t have to put up with this shit, Jade. You can choose to make a new family who respects you and loves you.”

“That’s easy to say when you have a great family already.”

“They can be your family too.”

I think my heart stopped when I looked at him; he was serious. It was way too soon to be having this conversation, even if my heart wanted to dance with joy. “We’ve only been officially dating for a week.”

For the second time, a throat cleared at the worst time possible. I looked up, finding my dad standing in the row behind us, his arms crossed over his chest and murder in his eyes.

“Dad! Hi! Great suite, are you ready for your team to kick ass?” I stood quickly, beer sloshing out of the can Noah had handed me. “Oh shit, I should clean this off.” I held my hand away from me so the beer wouldn’t get on my clothes.

“A week?” His eyes were on Noah.

Noah stood, somehow appearing completely calm and collected. “A week since we’ve been living together.”

“No, I clearly heard her say you’ve been officially dating for a week.” He looked ready to pick Noah up and throw him over the side of the suite.

“Did she? She’s had a few beers.” Noah looked to me. “Probably should have eaten breakfast instead of saving space for nachos and hot dogs. ”

I laughed awkwardly because this day was a whole other type of fire. “I do love a good hot dog.”

“Let’s clean you up and get you some water.” Noah took the beer from me and exited the row, waiting for me at the end.

“Jade.” My dad’s voice was scarily calm, and I looked up at him, feeling like I was a nineteen-year-old telling him I’d dropped out of school all over again.

“Let’s just go back to only seeing each other at Christmas, okay?” I hated that my relationship with my parents, who only lived two hours away, was reduced to that, but I couldn’t keep giving them chances to mend the relationship they broke.

Before he could try to tell me how unacceptable that was, I hightailed it after Noah. Unfortunately, that meant having to walk past my mom who was chatting animatedly with Tyler and his wife.

Noah took my hand, and we walked to the exit, even though there was a bathroom inside the suite. I was grateful there were more down the hall, and we could get away for a minute.

“Do you think he bought it?” I asked quietly as soon as we were in the mostly empty hall.

“Probably not,” Noah muttered, seeming to have left the confidence from just a minute ago with my father.

“I’m so sorry. I didn’t even think about what I was saying and who would hear it.” I bit my bottom lip, hating that I’d not only ruined my own company but might have ruined his too. “I’ll fix this.”

“It’s fine, Jade. Go wash your hands, and then we’ll go.” He stopped outside the women’s restroom, pulling out his phone. “I’m going to give Gabe a heads-up. Maybe he can swing by and smooth things over.”

I stopped in front of him as he began texting like his life depended on it. When he didn’t look up, I sighed and went into the bathroom.

What had I done to warrant such bad karma? I didn’t even believe in karma, but why else would so many things go wrong at once?

Lying to my parents about dating Noah wasn’t that big of a deal on my end, but for Noah, it might really do some damage. I never should have used him as a shield.

After washing the beer off my hand and wrist, I looked at myself in the mirror. The last few weeks, there had been a lightness to my features, but now, everything was tight and tense again.

I wanted to believe Noah when he said I could be part of his family, but what if I let myself, then things didn’t work out? Even though he seemed to think they would—and a very large part of me wanted that too—I also never thought my boyfriend would cheat on me and get another woman pregnant.

Noah had only seen a glimpse of how dedicated I was to my company. Sure, he was supportive now, but what about in six months or a year?

Stop that.

Adjusting my ponytail, I straightened my spine. I was Jade Dalton, the queen of orgasms, and if a man didn’t like that, then he didn’t deserve me.

I walked to the door and started to open it but stopped when I heard my father’s voice. “You should be ashamed of yourself for making a mockery out of me.”

“I should be ashamed of myself? You treat your daughter, who is a successful and wonderful human being, like absolute shit. What kind of parent invites his daughter’s ex to something when he got another woman pregnant?” Noah’s voice had an edge to it that I hadn’t heard from him before.

“You will not speak to me like that, young man. Show some respect.” My dad’s back was to the bathroom door, and I couldn’t see Noah entirely.

Noah scoffed. “Young man? I’m twice the man you’ll ever be. I love your daughter and know how to treat her.”

My heart nearly burst out of my chest at hearing him tell my dad that, but it also scared the crap out of me. What I felt for him was far beyond anything I’d ever felt before. It was all-consuming, and I found myself wanting to just let go of all sense of control with him.

“You decided to play house, and now you’re in love with her?” My dad laughed humorously.

“Mr. Dalton.” Gabriel walked up beside Noah and extended his hand, which my father shook. “I was here with some friends in the Badden suite and thought I’d come by to congratulate you on the start of the season.”

“You mean, you came to fix your brother’s mess.” My father was anything but dumb; I had to give him that. “I’m beginning to lose confidence in your company.”

“I can understand that, sir. Let’s not ruin this momentous occasion for you. We can sit down tomorrow and discuss your concerns. Will you still be in town, or should we come to you?” Gabriel was nothing if not professional. I admired how calm and composed he was considering what was on the line.

I wanted to step out and tell my father that my relationship with Noah had nothing to do with his business dealings, but seeing me might just make matters worse.

“You can come to me.”

“Great. Now, let’s go have a drink.” Gabriel gestured back toward the Seawolves’ suite.

Surprisingly, my father didn’t say another word and walked back toward the suite. Gabriel gave his brother a withering look before following my father.

Noah ran his hands through his hair and laced them at the back of his neck. “Fuck.”

I stepped out of the bathroom. “I’m ready.”

Noah turned around, giving me a half-hearted smile. “How much of that did you hear?”

“Most of it.” I took his hand as we headed toward the elevator. “I’m sorry I ruined your Sunday.”

“Stop apologizing, it’s not your fault.” He pressed the elevator button with more force than necessary. “I’ve never been a violent person, but I really wanted to punch your dad.”

“Well, I’m glad you didn’t.” I hugged his arm as we got into the elevator. “Do you think you and Gabriel will be able to fix it?”

He ran his free hand through his hair again. “I won’t, but Gabriel didn’t make Badden Apparel a billion-dollar company by luck. If anyone can get things back on track, it’s him. ”

I rested my head against his arm as we descended to the ground floor, hoping he was right.

I’d never been more grateful to have two email addresses than when I opened my public inbox and found it to be a mess. My assistant had been flagging and sorting them every day, but with it being Sunday, there was almost two days’ worth.

I sat back in Noah’s office chair and shut my eyes. It would be so much easier to run and hide from everything going on, but I didn’t get to where I was by running.

“Hey.”

I startled, and my eyes flew open. “Jesus, don’t scare a girl like that.”

He was leaning against the doorframe, wearing only a pair of basketball shorts that hung indecently low on his hips. “You shouldn’t be working on a Sunday.”

“You shouldn’t look so sinful on a Sunday.” I shut my laptop and stood, stretching. “I just want to be up to speed.”

Noah pushed off the doorframe and walked into the office. “You’re stressed.”

“Aren’t you?” I didn’t meet his stare as he rounded the side of the desk, instead focusing on tracing a Ravishing Whispers sticker on my laptop.

“Nope.” He lifted my chin, so I was looking at him. “But what is stressing me out is my girlfriend being stressed.”

He was lying, but I wasn’t going to call him out on it. If it helped him to pretend the meeting tomorrow would go smoothly, then maybe it would manifest itself .

“Are you sure you even want to deal with all of this? At this point, it would be easier to run for the hills.” I gasped as he grabbed on to my ponytail and tilted my head back. “Noah!”

“Say it again.” His lips were on my throat, kissing down to the swell of my breasts. “Tell me to run.”

“You should run.” I squealed when he bit the top of my breast just hard enough to sting. “Run far, far away with your chicken legs.”

Noah’s growl sent a shiver down my spine, and then his lips were on mine. He kissed me roughly, his tongue demanding entrance as one hand held on firmly to my hair and the other gripped my hip. I moaned into his mouth, loving how he was being all possessive and dominant.

He pulled away for a moment, his blue eyes blazing with desire. “You’re mine, Jade. Do you understand?”

I nodded, my breath coming in short gasps.

“Say it.”

“You’re... you’re a vampire.”

He chuckled low in his throat. “I see how it is.” With a smirk, he spun me around and bent me over the desk. “I’ll just have to make you understand.”

I gasped as he yanked down my shorts and panties, leaving me exposed. He cupped me between the legs and slid a finger through my folds.

“Already wet for me.” He leaned over me and bit the shell of my ear. “Tell me I’m yours.”

“Please, Noah.” I wiggled against his touch. “I need you.”

“Hm. I see what you need.” He smacked my ass, the sting making my pussy clench .

“Yes,” I hissed, pushing back against him. “Make me yours.”

His hand moved from between my legs, then he pressed his cock against my entrance. “How do you propose that I make you mine?”

“By fucking me into this desk and making me scream.” I propped myself up on my forearms and looked back at him. “Fuck me like you mean it.”

He didn’t hesitate, thrusting into me with one swift motion. I cried out as he filled me completely, my body stretching to accommodate him.

“Like this?” he gritted out between thrusts.

“Yes, yes, yes!” I pushed back each time he thrust, wanting every glorious inch of him.

He gripped the base of my ponytail again, pulling my head to the side as I reached between my legs to rub my clit. I cried out as he bit behind my ear, then peppered kisses down my neck.

Each thrust sent shockwaves of pleasure through my body, and I could feel myself getting closer and closer to the edge.

“Are you going to come for me?” He straightened but didn’t let go of my hair. “I want to feel you come on my cock.”

I moaned, my body responding to his words. I could feel the orgasm building, my muscles tensing. “Give me your cum, Noah. Fill me up.”

“Fuck!” His thrusts grew more frantic, and my fingers rubbed harder at my clit.

And then, with one final thrust, we both tumbled over the edge, my body convulsing as wave after wave of pleasure washed over me. Noah’s body shook behind me, his hips grinding against me as he came.

I collapsed onto the desk, my arms and legs feeling like mush. That was the most intense fucking I’d ever taken part of, and it had physically and emotionally worn me out.

Noah squeezed my hips before he slowly slid from me, making me whimper.

“Come here.” He tugged at my arm, and with a groan, I let him pull me into his office chair with him. “I’m glad this chair is leather.”

I buried my face against his neck. “You should keep rags in every room. Sex with you is messy.”

He smoothed his hand back over my hair and gently rubbed his fingers against my scalp where my ponytail was. “I got a little carried away. I didn’t hurt you, did I?”

“No.” I lifted my head to look at him. “I love it when you’re possessive and dominant.”

“I’ll have to remember that.” He kissed me softly. “You didn’t say it.”

It took me a second to figure out what he was talking about. “I’m yours.” The words filled me with unexpected emotion, and I bit my lip, not wanting to cry twice in one day.

Noah used his thumb to pull my lip from between my teeth. “What are you thinking?”

“I’m thinking that I love you too.” I blinked rapidly because my eyes were stinging. “I don’t know if I’ve been in love before, Noah.”

Now that I was experiencing so many emotions with this man, any feelings I once had for anyone else paled in comparison. It was fast and defied everything I’d ever known, but I couldn’t ignore it or try to slow it down anymore.

“I’ve certainly never been in love before. We’ll figure it out together.” He cupped my cheek, his thumb rubbing gently along my jaw. “I wish the first time you heard it from me wasn’t overhearing me tell someone else.”

“It was actually quite romantic and gallant how you stood up for me.” I ran my fingers through his disheveled hair. “I don’t have much fight left in me, Noah.”

“Sure you do. I just replenished you with plenty of fighting seeds.”

“Oh, gross!” I shoved at his chest and tried to get up, but he wrapped his arms around me and kept me in place.

“I love you.” He gave me a sloppy kiss on the cheek.

I didn’t know what tomorrow would bring, but one thing I knew for certain was that Noah loved me.
