6. Baylor
CHAPTER SIX
BAYLOR
“This meat tastes incredible. It’s making my mouth water.”
“That’s what he said,” Austin joked.
I fought the urge to roll my eyes. “Really? You’re not too old for those?”
“You’re never too old for a ‘ he said ’ joke. Right Coach?”
My best friend looked like he was caught between a rock and a hard place, because he was.
“You know what I want to say to that, Austin. But you know I would never throw you under the bus, so please, keep me out of it.”
I bowed to him. “You are a diplomat of bullshit.” A truck I didn’t recognize pulled up in the driveway and parked behind my truck. “Who else did you invite?”
“Just my…”
Casey fucking Collins climbed out of the truck.
“Coach… and his plus one,” Austin fi nished.
Perfect. Just what I needed, to be stuck with Casey and his date all day. No doubt he knew I would be here and brought someone to dangle in my face. Before he could shut the door, a golden retriever jumped down after him.
He has a dog? A cute dog? That doesn’t make him more likable.
Casey and his dog knocked on the front door, and I stared out the window, waiting to see who climbed out of the passenger seat. But he came inside and shut the door behind him, and it was still just him and the dog.
“Where’s your date?” His eyes bugged out when they landed on me.
“Baylor?” He bit off a curse, swallowing most of it to be polite. “Rawlings is the only significant other in my life. She’s a handful.”
Rawlings. Cute. Like baseball equipment. She came directly to me, tail wagging and butt wiggling, her big sloppy tongue dangling from her mouth as she panted excitedly. I bent down to rub between her ears, and she bathed my face in doggy drool.
“Rawlings, you’re a damn hussy. You’ll lick anyone,” Casey complained.
“What can I say?” I laughed, dodging her wet tongue. “The ladies love me. At least one of you is likable.”
“You must have a treat in your pocket,” Casey accused. As if that were the only reason his dog wanted to lick me.
Ignoring Rawlings for a moment, I cut my eyes to Casey. “Why don’t you reach your hand in my pocket and find out?”
He chuffed, shaking his head, and addressed his dog. “Come on, Rawlings. Have some decency and self-respect, for God’s sake.”
Casey went out back, most likely to avoid me, and Rawlings followed. He tossed a frisbee to her for about an hour. Not that I was spying through the kitchen window or anything.
“Who wants the last hot dog?” Marcus called, closing the lid on the grill.
“I’ll take it,” Casey answered. “Hold the mustard.”
What I was about to do could be considered childish, or maybe I was justified. I slipped through the sliding glass door and snatched up the hot dog, saturating it in mustard.
“Wait, that was for Coach,” Austin said.
“Was it? My bad.” I offered it to him with a sweet smile.
Casey glared and grabbed the dog from me. “Give me your hand,” he ordered. Not knowing what he was about to do, I held out my palm. Casey grabbed my fingers and slid them through the mustard, wiping his dog clean. Fucking fucker. I looked around for a paper towel to wipe my hand off, but Casey stopped me. “Lick it clean.” His voice was low and commanding, just loud enough for me to hear. My eyes widened. “Lick it clean.”
Why? Why was I following his command? Why was my dick getting hard? Why couldn’t I take my eyes off his as I slipped my fingers between my lips and sucked the tangy mustard off? He looked as satisfied as I felt.
“Good boy,” he murmured. He leaned closer, his voice hovering just beside my ear. “You’re a fucking brat. Someone needs to teach you a lesson.”
Okay, I was all the way hard now. I left him standing there as I escaped to the bathroom. Not to wash my hands, though. I slipped my sticky fingers inside my jeans and squeezed the tip of my cock. My balls spasmed and a thrill shot through me.
Fuck it, nobody’s going to know.
With quick, efficient strokes, I fucked my fist, stroking my shaft in a frenzy, my breathing growing fast and shallow until I felt my balls draw up tight and I came inside my palm, trying to catch every drop before it soaked through my pants. Sighing with the satisfaction of the release, I washed my hands and braced my arms on the counter, staring at my reflection in the mirror.
This is fucked up, Baylor. Real fucked up. Just because he’s hot, and he’s got a cute dog, doesn’t mean you want to fuck him again. There are plenty of men available besides Casey Collins. You just need to find one.
When I came out of the bathroom, I found Marcus and Austin in the kitchen cleaning up. “I think I’m going to take off,” I told them.
“So soon?” Marcus asked. “Is everything all right?”
“Sure, I’ve just got a lot to do.” Marcus looked at me skeptically, his brow raised. He knew I didn’t have shit to do. Just then, Casey and Rawlings walked in. Damn, I was hoping to avoid having to say goodbye .
“You know there’s a naked guy in the backyard?” Casey asked offhandedly.
“Where?” I asked, ducking my head through the sliding glass door.
Austin looked through the window above the sink. “Oh, that’s just my neighbor, Wilder. Ignore him.”
“Does he do that often?” Casey asked, laughing.
“Often enough,” Austin answered.
“He’s not planning to get in the hot tub, is he?” Marcus asked. “Maybe he doesn’t realize we have people over.”
Austin set his dishrag down on the counter. “I’ll go tell him.”
“Never a dull moment,” I quipped. “I’ll catch you later, Marcus. Collins,” I acknowledged coldly, dipping my head.
“Buchanan,” he said just as coldly.
Then I kneeled and called his dog, just to piss him off. “Come here, girl.” Rawlings ran to my arms, licking my face with her sloppy tongue. “You give the best kisses,” I praised her.
“Stop making out with my dog,” Casey snapped, pulling a treat from his pocket to bribe his dog away from me.
“Maybe she heard what a good kisser I am.”
That last shot was just for him. I hope he remembered the taste of my mouth, the feel of my lips as I slurped his cock down my throat, trying my best to impress him. The look he gave me could have burned me alive.
Apparently, he remembered.
