Chapter Seven Babe
CHAPTER SEVEN: BABE
Scorch's comment has me ready to rip his head off his shoulders. The only thing stopping me is the VP patch on his kutte. I pull Min closer to me, to show I've got her back. The last thing I need is for her to go off on Scorch and insult him. Or worse, hurt him. However, I discover I underestimated Min.
"While that's a nice offer," Min says in a calm voice. "I'm afraid I'll have to decline. I'm not good at giving head, but I'm sure one of these women would be happy to help you out. They seem better qualified to handle what you've got. Babe, do you mind showing me to our room? I'm wiped out."
I take Min's and help her off the stool. She gives Scorch a wide berth, but I stop close enough to speak to him without others hearing. "I told you before, she's not available. Don't hit on her again." He may be a VP, but I'm Enforcer from the Original Chapter. More importantly, I know Dante will side with me if it becomes an issue. Min is under club protection.
"Thanks for not punching Scorch in the nuts," I say to Min as we step into the room that I use when I visit. We're on the top floor of the building where the executives have their rooms. Chrome keeps a few rooms on this floor for executives from visiting chapters. Below us are the rooms used by the remaining members of the Chicago club, along with guest rooms for other visiting members. The second floor is where the Kutte Bunnies and prospects sleep along with the fuck rooms.
"Have to admit I considered it," Min says with a grin. "But he didn't deserve it. All he did was touch my leg and try to piss you off."
I frown at her. "You don't think he was hitting on you?"
"Oh, he was hitting on me, but more of a ‘if-it-works-great' kind of way. He wanted to piss you off. You didn't see his face when Lydia threw herself at you. I did. He was angry. He might have been jealous."
"Huh. Well, nothing to be jealous about. I'm not interested in her."
"You can definitely do better," Min says, turning away from me to dig through her duffle bag. "I heard what you said on the plane and I promise to not attack anyone unless they give me no other choice. Does that work?"
When she turns back to me holding a t-shirt and the cutest pair of panties, I want to step forward and pull her into my arms. Instead, I just nod and try desperately to keep from looking at those damn panties. She turns back to her bag and pulls out a plastic bag containing shampoo and conditioner. "I'm going to take a shower. I'm exhausted, but I want to hear what you learned in Church."
"Go ahead. I'll take one after you." Once she's gone, I take a long look at the room and realize that our quarters are more cramped than I remembered. I had planned on sleeping on the floor, but there's hardly room for me to stretch out. Maybe I can talk Min into sharing the bed.
I hear the shower go off and grab my bag. When Min steps out, my mouth goes dry. She's standing in the doorway wearing that t-shirt. It hits her mid-thigh. The fog behind her makes her look like a water nymph rising from the hot springs. Her long, toned legs look soft as silk and are a gorgeous gold. She's not wearing a bra. I can see her pert nipples pressing against the cotton fabric. Fuck, she's beautiful.
"I'll just be a minute," I say, holding my bag to cover my growing erection. We pass each other and I groan at the scent wafting off her. Jasmine and lemongrass. Yeah, I'm going to need more than a minute. I have a feeling my hand and my cock are going to be spending a lot of time together on this trip.
After soaping up and rinsing off, I grab hold of my dick and stroke. Closing my eyes, Min's face comes into view. Her grey-green eyes watching me as she sinks to her knees. Opening her mouth, I slide my hard cock inside. I fantasize about having Min taking me deep. Her mouth full of my cock with tears streaming down her face. Fuck, that's a beautiful image. My fist speeds up as I imagine my cock sliding down her throat. The orgasm hits hard and I have to bite my fist to keep from shouting. After washing my release off the tiles, I dry off and put on my boxers and a t-shirt. I feel bad jerking off to thoughts of Min, like I'm being disrespectful. But I know I had to do it. It was that or try sleeping with a hard-on.
I find Min under the covers and sitting against the headboard. She has her laptop open in front of her.
"The room is too small for you to sleep on the floor," she says without looking up. "You can sleep in the bed, but no funny business."
I chuckle and give her a nod of thanks when she glances at me. "Thanks, but you need to shift over. I need to be between you and the door."
Min glances at the door and nods before shifting over to the other side. I drop next to her and pull the sheet and blanket up to my waist. While Min continues to search through several websites, taking notes as she goes, I study her as my mind wanders. I feel discombobulated, but I can't figure out why until I realize that I've never been in bed with a woman before where we weren't having sex. I'm not sure how I feel about it until I realize that I kind of like it. It's comfortable.
Min shuts down her laptop and slides it onto the nightstand next to her, along with the notebook. She turns to me and frowns.
"What are you doing?"
I frown because I'm not sure what she means. "I thought you said I could sleep in here."
"You can, but you're just sitting there staring at me. Why?"
"Just waiting for you to finish so I can share with you what I learned in Church," I tell her. There's no way I'm telling her the truth. That I'm fantasizing about ways to turn our sharing a bed into something permanent.
"Oh, sorry. I was doing some research on Theodore Jordan," she explains. "If he's the person helping our skips, then I want to know all I can about him."
"Good idea. Because we're certain he is helping them," I tell her before relating what I learned in Church.
"Wait, is that the same church that the prospect was a member of when he got the priest arrested?"
"It is. I'm hoping he can draw us a map of the property so we can get inside and set up cameras and listening devices. We don't know how many people are there, so we need to do some recon first."
"That's a good idea. Don't most churches have several buildings on the property? The church, a rectory and an office, maybe a hall or some place to hold their bingo nights?"
I chuckle. "Hell if I know, but that sounds right. Some have schools, I think, or at least a few classrooms. It's an ideal place for a group of wanted men to hide."
"Great place to hide many sins," Min murmurs.
I can't argue with her.
"Are they having church services?" Min asks.
I shrug. "I don't know. We're lucky they have the knowledge they do. The club has a garage nearby and Scorch was the one who noticed someone new moved in after the dioceses closed the place down. They haven't had eyes on the place except during business hours, and that's been sporadic at best. They're having guys camp out in the garage to watch the place twenty-four-seven."
"What about someone going inside and ask about joining?" Min suggests.
I open my mouth and close it as I consider her suggestion. It's a good one. "That's a good idea. I'll run it by Chrome. They'd have to be white. Jordan only allows white men into his church. However, Piston said he saw a few Asians go inside. He thinks they might have been gang members."
"Asians? Chinese?"
I shrug. "He thinks so. He was leaving the garage when they were getting out of the car in front of the church."
"They have several Asian gangs in Chicago," Min muses. "Many are Japanese, but some are Chinese. I remember my father using this as an excuse for not moving to Chicago when we left San Francisco."
"There are Asian gangs in San Francisco and San Diego," I remind her.
She chuckles. "I know, but my mom didn't, at the time. She figured out later that he conned her into moving to San Diego. Although, I know she's happy there, especially after they reconnected with Ghost."
"I know Ghost is happy to have you guys in his life," I tell her. "When he was a prospect, he was really quiet and kept to himself. He always stayed up late and let the other guys sleep. We called him Nocturnal, Nox for short when he was a prospect."
"How did he get the name Ghost?" Min asks.
"Because the mother-fucker is a ghost," I say with a laugh. "He got shot trying to protect the women against a fucking prospect who turned against us. The fucker shot Nox and left him for dead in a ditch. He rose from the dead and went hunting. We watched the video feed after he rescued the women and I swear it was like watching a ghost move through the house and take out the bad guys one-by-one. Never saw anything like it."
"He always was stealthy. I think he learned to be because of his brother. Fenhua's not a nice person. Just like his parents. Well, you've met them. Sort of." I bark out a laugh because she's right. We didn't really meet Ghost's parents, we just watched them threaten us before Maia and Laser shot them dead, along with the small army they brought to crash Dante's wedding.
"Was Ghost's brother at the wedding? I don't remember."
"No, he wasn't there. Although Ghost and I think he died back when he rescued me from them. At least, I hope he died. He was more depraved than his parents. How did you get the road name, Babe?"
I grimace at her question and consider how to answer without risking her screaming and running out of the room.
