Chapter 47 - Oliver

W hen I met Hunter, two things amazed me more than anything. One: his big green eyes that I easily get lost in every time I look at them. Two: the fact that we have the same birthday. We used to joke about being fraternal twins, at least when we met. However as the years passed, it felt more special. We had this little tradition where we would get cupcakes and blow them out instead of a cake. And then, senior year, we were alone for our birthday. We sat in bed, in the dark, with our cupcakes and lit candles. We promised each other forever, but this time, I begged the universe for it. I never wanted it to end—what we had was more addictive than any drug, and now I get to have it again.

Finally .

Hunter packed us an overnight bag and wouldn't tell me where we were going. So imagine my surprise when, after six hours, we pulled up to a hotel in downtown Atlanta—right across from the place we met. We dropped off our belongings, and now we're here, in front of the whale sharks. He's taking pictures of them, and I'm staying back for now, thinking of how sweet and perfect this moment is. How I never want it to end.

Being here is such a relief. We can just be… us. We don't have to worry about anything or hide. We can hold hands, and we're free. Free to touch. Free to look. Free to exist. We've gotten a taste of it, and it's not enough. I wish we could do it all the time, not just at school. More than anything, I want everyone to know about us. Everyone.

As if he knows exactly what I'm thinking about, Hunter chooses this instant to turn around and grin. I smile back, peering behind him, and pull out my phone. I pull up the camera and zoom in, getting the shittiest, most pixelated picture of him with a whale shark behind him. It makes me laugh, and then I pocket my cell phone again.

Hunter makes his way back to me, and I hold on to the rail in front of me, remembering exactly the words we said to each other all those years ago. When he comes to my side, his arm brushing against my shoulder, I smile and look at him.

"What's your name?" I ask him, and his brows furrow in confusion. I can see the moment he catches on, because he grins.

"Hunter."

He looks at me, really looks at me. His green eyes search my blue ones, and I say, "You have really green eyes." This time, I don't feel embarrassed about it. This time, I'm in love with him.

"And you have really blue ones," he tells me as his green eyes dilate. He reaches out and brushes his knuckles against my cheek, which is definitely not part of the script. My eyes fall shut, and he withdraws his hand when I open them again. "Oliver, right?"

I nod with a small smile.

"I can be Green." He grins, grabbing my hand and squeezing. "If you'll be Blue."

I love you.

I fucking love you.

Hunter pulls me into him until we're sharing breath. Me on my tip-toes, him bending at the waist. He kisses my nose, my eyes, then my lips. And even though he doesn't say anything at all, I know it deep in my heart what he's feeling right now. I'm not alone in this.

He pulls out his phone, and I watch him as he steps away from me, bringing the camera to his screen. He positions us so we're in front of the whale sharks, and with the front-facing camera, he snaps a few shots of us. I smile as big as I can, and he does, too.

When he shows me the pictures, we look so fucking happy. I can't remember the last time I was this happy, not since I was eighteen years old. Even then, we weren't out in public this way. Now we're all over each other, and I can't say I'm mad about it.

My stomach flutters when he asks someone to take a picture of us. He wraps his arms around me, kisses my cheek, then looks at the camera and smiles. I smile right along with him, relishing in the feeling of being in his arms. Hunt gets his phone back, then grabs my hand and pulls me toward the entrance.

"Let's go, baby," he murmurs. "It's time for some cake."

Memories of us blowing out candles fill my mind, and I let him haul me out of the building and toward the hotel. The walk is short as it's right across the street, and the sun is setting. We've been here for hours, and I was waiting for the perfect moment to recreate how we met. It felt fitting to do it over again. Because we're starting over.

Once we make it to the hallway, right in front of our hotel door, he presses me against it. Our bodies are flush with each other, and he kisses me like he never wants to come back up for air—and I let him steal all of mine and keep it. He pulls away from me, taking the key card out of his pocket and scanning it, and as soon as the door buzzes open, he pushes me inside.

"Let's play a game," he murmurs as he closes the door and locks it. I glance around the room and spot a box with candles on top of it, and butterflies fill my belly. "Pretend it's senior year, and let's blow out our candles in bed—" There's a pause, and he widens his eyes dramatically. "Naked."

I widen my eyes in return and laugh, then begin to strip. He does the same, dropping his clothes everywhere, then goes to the box when we're both completely naked. I sit in bed, crossing my legs, and wait for him. It takes him a minute to prepare our cupcakes, but my heart clenches in my chest when he lights the candles and turns off the lights.

The room is dark, the only light being the soft glow of the birthday candles, and Hunter's green eyes glow brightly as he settles next to me in the bed, sitting precisely like I am. He hands me a cupcake, and we hold them in front of each other. They're vanilla cupcakes with white frosting, and my eyes do this blurry thing where I know I'm about to fucking cry. And when he smiles at me, a nostalgic smile, it takes everything in me to hold in the tears.

"We're finally here. Together," Hunt whispers, and I smile.

"It feels too good to be true."

"That's because we're that good." He gets closer to me and kisses my forehead. "We're forever, Ollie. Promise me forever."

We've already done that before, and look where that got us. But maybe this is my wish coming true. Maybe this is our forever.

"Promise me, Ollie." I swallow hard at the desperation in his voice. "That no matter what happens, we'll always find our way back to each other."

"Tell me something real," I whisper.

Hunter gazes into my eyes. "I love you," he whispers back. "I always have, and I always will. I can't live without you, Ollie. I don't know how. You're my fucking oxygen, and without you, I'm suffocating. There's no life for me without you in it."

Oh, God.

My chest expands. "I love you so fucking much, Hunter." I stare up at him, and there are tears in his eyes now. "I will never stop." I take a deep, shuddering breath. "So I promise. I promise we will always find our way back to each other."

"You're going to be my husband someday, Blue." He smiles as he says it. "You'll see."

"Swear it to me."

"I swear." He smiles, then taps his cupcake softly against mine. "Cheers, baby."

"One." I smile as I look into his eyes.

"Two," he says, grinning back.

" Three ."

And then we blow our candles out.

There's a rustling of the sheets as I place my cupcake next to me, and then suddenly, Hunter tackles me into the bed. I spread my legs, and I feel my cock hardening as soon as he settles between them. He shifts his hips until our cocks slide against each other, and it feels so fucking good I cry out. He's panting, I'm moaning, and he goes a little harder.

Fuck .

Our lips meet in a crash, and we're all tongues and teeth as we bite and nip at each other. He pulls away, and it takes me a moment to reorient myself as he begins to lick and suck on my neck, then goes lower. There's movement I can't see, but then he's smearing something cold on my balls and my dick.

"What the—" Suddenly, his mouth is on me, his tongue licking a path up my balls and to my dick. "Fuck, baby ," I moan when he takes me between his lips and groans, giving me a deep suck. My dick hits the back of his throat, and he swallows me down, gagging around my length. It feels so damn good. My back arches off the bed, and I grab his hair and tighten my fingers in his strands.

My spine begins to tingle, and it's fucking embarrassing how close I am to coming already, but when I start to moan louder and get closer to my release, Hunter lets go of me with a pop. Instead, he smears more stuff on me and jerks my dick. It's slippery yet thick, and I thrust my hips up, chasing the friction. Then I'm coming in hot spurts, and I feel it on my abs as Hunter slows down.

"God, Ollie," Hunter groans, pressing his hand to my lips. "Lick it clean."

I do, I lick my cum off his fingers and hand, and I taste something sweet mixed with it—frosting. Then he's going back down my chest, trailing his warm tongue toward my abs and licking my skin, cleaning me up too. I close my eyes and smile, focusing on the feelings in my chest right now. I can't believe this is real. That he told me he loves me again. That we promised each other forever.

"You ready for me, Blue?" he asks softly, and I spread my legs wider for him. His arm brushes against me as he reaches under my pillow, and when I hear the cap of the lube give way, I laugh.

"It seems you're the one who's prepared for this." I smile, then reach under the other pillow. "But I have something else for you."

"What is it?"

"Let's just say it's your turn to lie down and give me the lube." Hunter makes a choking sound, and I chuckle. "Don't worry, Hunt. It's just a toy."

Hunter lies down on the bed next to me, and I feel around in the dark until I'm between his legs. He hands me the lube, and I coat my fingers with it, then seek out his hole. I rub it with two fingers, getting him ready, then press against it with one.

"Just one, Hunt," I say softly, and he relaxes against my fingers. "You're gonna take two, then I'm gonna put this in."

"Okay." He groans as I push one finger into his ass, then thrust it in and out. "Fucking hell, Ollie. Give me one more, please."

I insert the second one, then thrust them in deeply until I'm brushing my fingers against his prostate. He cries out, shifting his hips, trying to chase the pleasure. I take that as my cue to pull them out, and he makes a protesting sound at the back of his throat. Chuckling, I turn on the little vibrating plug and lube it up too. Pressing it against his entrance, I push it in slowly to the hilt. It's easy because there's not much girth to it, but it's long enough to stimulate him with every thrust of his hips. He's about to come harder than ever and doesn't even know it.

"Your turn to get stuffed," he moans, then flips me onto my back, settling between my legs. My dick stirs back to life, and he groans as he grabs the lube and drips it onto my ass blindly. It's fucking cold, but I forget all about it when he presses the head of his cock to my hole and pushes in slightly. "You ready?"

"Yeah, baby."

"Fuck, I love when you call me that."

I smile, and even though he didn't prep me, I don't feel like I need it. I crave the pain—the burn. He pushes in slowly, pressing his lips against my neck and breathing hard against my ear. I know he's struggling not to come already, and the sound of the vibrator is loud. Once he's buried inside of me as far as he'll go, he presses his forehead to mine.

"Who do you belong to, Ollie?" he asks with a strained voice, and he begins to move his hips.

The head of his cock touches my prostate, and I moan. "You," I groan. " Only you."

And I mean it.

Until my very last breath, I'll belong to Hunter Hartman.

He's my sun, and I'm just a planet orbiting around him.
