H e hadn't seen his mate in days. The few brief moments they'd shared felt like a lifetime ago, and now Raydon stood outside Rush's door, waiting for him to answer. Tonight was the night they finally mated.

Rush opened the door, and the first thing Raydon noticed were the lines of tension around Rush's eyes. "Are you okay?"

"Long day, sick twins. I've just managed to get them to sleep. There's a bug going around the nursery school, and they both caught it."

Raydon followed Rush into the living area, noticing Rush appeared to be in the middle of cleaning. "Take a shower, and I'll finish in here."

"What?" Rush shook his head. "No, I'll do it. They're my kids."

"They are our children, mate." Raydon watched Rush rub his hands together, and he gathered them in his own. "You are… What do humans call it? A package deal. Your children are mine because we're mates, and family is family. Go and shower, and I will clean up."

Rush blinked up at him, licked his lips, then nodded. He still didn't move, so Raydon took hold of his shoulders, turned him around, and pushed him toward the bathroom. Rush went slowly, glancing repeatedly over his shoulder until he entered the bathroom and shut the door. A minute later, the shower turned on, and Raydon began tidying the living room.

It wasn't that messy, but he knew enough about his mate to know that he liked having things in their place. By the time the shower switched off, Raydon had the place looking how Rush would want it. It again made him appreciate his mate: a single father who worked hard and raised his children the right way.

When Rush padded into the living room, Raydon watched, thanking whoever it was that decided they should be mates. His perfect mate. Rush gave him a small shy smile, ducking his head, and Raydon placed a finger under his chin and lifted it back up. His mate should always look him in the eyes. They were equals.

"How was work?" Rush asked.

"Long and boring, but I managed because I knew I was seeing you."

Rush smiled, then leaned in for a kiss, which Raydon was more than happy to give. One kiss wasn't enough, and Raydon picked Rush up, walking into his bedroom. Placing Rush on the bed, he stared down and him and, again, thanked whoever it was who had gifted him Rush.

Rush blushed but tugged on Raydon's shirt. "Come here."

Raydon gladly went, lying over his mate and kissing his plump lips. His tongue traced them, then dipped inside, entwining with Rush's as his hands held Rush's face. "I want you, my mate," he whispered softly, trailing his lips across Rush's cheek before kissing him again.

Rush sighed, his hands sliding over Raydon's back. "Slow."

"I'll make it good for you. I'll show you how it should be between mates."

"Yes," Rush sighed before he sucked on Raydon's bottom lip.

Raydon stood and stripped, then helped Rush. When Rush lay back, naked on the bed, Raydon stared. His mate was beautiful, and Raydon leaned down, licking across one of his nipples. Rush gasped and arched up, and Raydon murmured, "Yes, barbells."

A shiver wracked Rush's body as Raydon kissed and licked his nipples while one hand trailed down Rush's body to stroke his dick. Raydon's lips followed his hand, and he licked across the head of Rush's dick, sucking up the pre-come and swallowing the bitter salty essence of Rush.

"Raydon. I want…" Rush closed his eyes and murmured, "Please don't take too long."

"You want to have sex with me now."

Rush opened his eyes and nodded. "I do."

"My mate." Raydon kissed the head of Rush's dick, then sucked it inside his mouth, his tongue sliding over the velvety head. His fingers trailed over Rush's balls, tugging on the skin before moving lower to trace over his hole. He felt it clench under his fingertips, and he had to taste. Sliding his tongue down Rush's shaft, he sucked his balls, then pushed Rush's legs up so he could get his wide shoulders in between them.

Once he had sight of Rush's wrinkled hole, he groaned and licked it with the flat of his tongue. Rush's taste exploded over his tongue, and Raydon growled before licking him again. He moved slowly in and out until he felt Rush loosen, then slid farther inside, his tongue sliding around, taking a deeper taste of Rush.

Raydon slowly fucked his mate with his tongue, eager to hear the sounds Rush made and wanting more of them. When Rush was loose enough, Raydon slid his finger inside and moved it around until he grazed Rush's prostate. Rush called out then, the sound muffled, and Raydon glanced up, seeing Rush with a pillow over his face. Chuckling, he eased his finger in and out, then pushed two inside. He felt Rush clench around then and moved them slowly until Rush relaxed, then he sped up. Seeing Rush stretched around his fingers had Raydon whimpering, eager to feel Rush stretch around his dick. Rush wasn't ready. He needed three fingers before he could take Raydon in his ass.

Rush's eyes widened, but he nodded. Rubbing the head of his dick against Rush's wet hole, Raydon pushed inside, his eyes watching Rush's reactions. Rush's eyes widened more, his mouth falling open, his hands grabbing Raydon's arms. Raydon didn't stop, but he went slow until he was fully seated in Rush's ass.

Once there, he lay over Rush and kissed him, twining their tongues together. Rush trembled, his breathing fast, but Raydon kissed him through it, his hands stroking over Rush's soft skin until Rush relaxed. Once he did, Raydon pulled out, then eased back in, repeating it again and again.

Rush moved his hips slowly, matching Raydon's. Raydon praised him, hands sliding over Rush. Moaning, he said, "Wrap your legs around me."

Rush lifted his legs, then lifted his ass when Raydon slammed inside. "Oh! Raydon! Do that again!"

Raydon licked Rush's neck, the part he would bite to mate them, then fucked his mate. Rush cried out, his hands scrambling over Raydon's back until they gripped his hair. "Rush. So perfect."

Rush didn't answer. He licked across Raydon's mouth, then shoved his tongue inside. His fingers clutched Raydon's hair, tugging the strands. Raydon rested his chin on the palm on his hand. Rush.

Rush smiled. "Wow."

"We will never be apart. When you need me, all you have to do is reach out to me, and I'll be there."

"I like that. Knowing I'm never alone." Rush pulled him down and kissed him. Slowly, softly, and Raydon sighed into their kiss. He felt Rush's dick pulse between them, and Rush murmured, "I want you again. How is that possible?"

"We're mates." Raydon sucked on Rush's bottom lip, then let it slide free. He could feel his own body hardening and whispered, "We could be in for a long night."

"Hmm. I think I like that." Rush kissed him. "Take me again, Raydon. Show me how a demon likes to fuck."

Raydon grinned and did just that.
