Chapter Thirteen

Still got it…

Alice

The campfire crackled in the background, laughter and the sweet scent of toasted marshmallows filling the air. But my attention was on the man in front of me, the man who had unexpectedly shown up at our girls' trip.

I leaned up on my tiptoes, wrapping my arms around Wrecker's neck as I pressed a quick kiss to his lips. "If any of the girls ask, I am so mad that you guys crashed our trip," I whispered, brushing my nose against his. "But actually, I'm so happy you're here."

His strong arms tightened around my waist, pulling me closer. "Your secret is safe with me, babe," he murmured, a playful glint in his eyes.

I bit my bottom lip, the idea forming in my mind as my fingers trailed down his chest. "How about we go for a walk?" I suggested, my voice carrying just the hint of something more.

The campfire glow flickered in Wrecker's gaze as he looked down at me. "You don't want a s'more?" he asked, half-teasing.

I shook my head, my hand finding his and intertwining our fingers. "I'm not hungry for that," I replied, letting my smile convey exactly what I was craving.

Wrecker cocked his head, a knowing smirk playing at the corners of his lips. "Oh? Then what are you hungry for, babe?"

Instead of answering, I turned to the others around the campfire. "We're going for a walk!" I called out, not really caring who heard. The rest of the girls would understand—or at least they'd pretend to. I could feel Wrecker's eyes on me as I tugged him away from the group, leading him toward the road that curved around the edge of the campground.

He let me take the lead until we were away from the firelight, the sounds of the camp fading into the distance. Then, with a swift motion, he pulled me into his arms, guiding us toward the lake, the moon casting a silver sheen over the water.

"Maybe I can show you just how much I missed you," I said coyly, glancing up at him through my lashes.

He growled low in his throat, a sound that sent shivers down my spine. We were close to the lake when we noticed a narrow path leading off into the woods, barely visible in the dim light. Wrecker gave my hand a squeeze, and we veered off the road, following the trail into the trees.

The path opened up into a small clearing right by the water's edge, the trees forming a natural alcove around us. The air was cool, the ground soft underfoot, and the only sound was the gentle lapping of the lake against the shore.

Wrecker took a slow look around before his gaze landed back on me, a fire in his eyes that had nothing to do with the campfire we had just left behind. "Here," he growled, the word thick with intent.

Before I could respond, he pulled me to the nearest tree, pressing me up against the rough bark. His hands were everywhere at once, sliding under my shirt, gripping my waist, and tilting my head back so his lips could claim mine in a searing kiss.

The world narrowed down to just the two of us, the cool night air against my skin a sharp contrast to the heat between us. I moaned against his lips as he lifted me slightly, his hips pinning mine to the tree. His kiss was hot and demanding, leaving me breathless as his hands roamed over my body, tracing familiar paths that set my skin alight.

"Wrecker," I breathed, my voice barely more than a gasp as his mouth moved to my neck, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin there. I felt him smirk against my throat, one of his hands sliding down to grip my thigh, pulling my leg up to wrap around his waist.

His touch was rough and urgent, a mirror to the wild pounding of my heart. He pulled back just enough to look into my eyes, his gaze dark and intense. "You have no idea how much I've missed you," he growled before capturing my lips again in another bruising kiss.

I barely had time to register the words before he moved, his free hand pushing my shorts aside with a swift motion, the cool air a sharp contrast to the heat pooling between us. I gasped at the sensation, my fingers digging into his shoulders as I pulled him closer, needing him like I needed air.

Wrecker didn't waste any time, his fingers finding me with practiced ease, his touch sending jolts of pleasure through my body. I moaned, my hips bucking against him after he dropped his pants, and he pushed inside me, filling me with a delicious heat that spread through every nerve.

It was fast and hot, our bodies moving together in a frantic rhythm, the world fading away until all that was left was the feel of him, the rough bark of the tree against my back, and the intoxicating mix of pleasure and need that threatened to consume me.

I clung to him, my fingers tangled in his hair as he drove into me with an urgency that matched my own, the raw desire between us leaving me breathless. Every thrust sent sparks of pleasure through me, building higher and higher until I was teetering on the edge, my body tightening around him as I came undone.

Wrecker wasn't far behind, his grip on me tightening as he buried himself deep inside me, his breath hot against my neck as he groaned my name. The world shattered around us, and I cried out, my nails digging into his shoulders as wave after wave of pleasure washed over me, leaving me trembling in his arms.

For a moment, we stayed like that, our breaths mingling as we came down from the high, the cool night air a welcome relief against our overheated skin. Wrecker rested his forehead against mine, his breath ragged as he held me close, our hearts pounding in sync.

"Damn, babe," he finally muttered, his voice low and gravelly. "I really missed you."

I smiled, pressing a soft kiss to his lips as I tried to catch my breath. "I missed you too," I whispered, my fingers brushing through his hair. "More than you know."

We stayed there for a while longer, just holding each other as the world slowly came back into focus. The lake lapped gently at the shore, the leaves rustling in the breeze as we stood together in the small clearing, lost in our own little world.

Finally, Wrecker pulled back slightly, his hands cupping my face as he looked down at me, his eyes softening. "Let's go back to the others before they send out a search party," he said with a grin.

I laughed softly, nodding as I reluctantly let go of him. "Yeah, they're probably wondering where we disappeared to," I agreed, though part of me wanted to stay right there, just the two of us, for a little while longer.

We straightened ourselves out, brushing off the dirt and leaves before heading back down the path to the road. As we walked, Wrecker kept his arm around my waist, holding me close as if he couldn't bear to let go just yet.

And honestly, I didn't mind one bit.

Meg

The firelight flickered across Lo's face as he sat on the lawn chair, his attention drifting from the conversation. I hovered over him, my hand outstretched. "Can you help me bring in the s'mores stuff to the RV?" I asked, keeping my tone casual.

He looked up at me, raising an eyebrow. "Just leave it, babe. We can take care of it when we go in for the night."

That wasn't what I wanted. I leaned over him, our eyes locking, and grabbed his hand. "Just help me now," I whispered, my voice low and intent.

The moment stretched between us as he studied my expression, realization dawning in his eyes. He understood exactly what I was after. Without another word, he nodded and stood up, helping me gather the s'mores supplies. We moved quietly, unnoticed by the others, who were busy talking and playing some word game Greta had concocted.

We made our way into the RV, the cool night air following us briefly before the door swung shut. I dropped the supplies onto the counter, hearing the soft thud as Lo did the same beside me. I turned to him just as I heard the twist of the lock.

"We won't be long," he growled, his voice rough and full of promise. "But I don't want to be interrupted."

Before I could respond, Lo pulled me into his arms, his hands firm on my waist as he lifted me onto the counter. My legs instinctively wrapped around him as he moved between them, our bodies pressing together with an intensity that left me breathless. His mouth claimed mine, our kiss ravenous and demanding, the heat between us sparking into a full-blown fire.

My fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer as his hands roamed over my body, gripping my hips and sliding under my shirt. His touch was possessive, and I responded in kind, tugging at his clothes, desperate to feel his skin against mine. There was nothing gentle about the way we moved together, and I didn't want it any other way.

Lo's hands found the waistband of my shorts, yanking them down as I helped push them off, the cool air hitting my bare skin for only a moment before his hands were on me again. I worked his pants off, and they pooled at his feet. He pushed into me with a roughness that made me gasp, my back arching as the pleasure shot through me with my ass on the edge of the counter.

We moved together in a frantic rhythm, every thrust sending jolts of ecstasy through my body. My fingers dug into his shoulders, my legs tightening around his waist, pulling him deeper. The RV began to creak and rock with the force of our movements, but I barely registered it, too lost in the sensation of him, the way he filled me completely, driving me toward the edge.

I bit my lip to keep from crying out, my head falling back against the cabinet as the pressure built inside me, coiling tighter and tighter. Lo didn't let up, his hands gripping my hips as he drove into me harder, faster, his breath ragged against my neck.

The RV shook with the force of our coupling, the thought flashing through my mind that someone outside might notice. But there was no way I was going to tell Lo to stop, not when every movement, every rough thrust, was pushing me closer to the brink. I wanted this, wanted him, more than anything.

My body tensed as the pleasure exploded inside me, the release hitting me like a wave crashing against the shore. I cried out, unable to hold back as the ecstasy tore through me, leaving me trembling in his arms. Lo followed right after, his grip on me tightening as he buried himself deep, a guttural growl escaping his lips as he found his own release.

We stayed like that for a moment, our breaths mingling as we came down from the high, the RV stilling around us. Lo rested his forehead against mine, his hands sliding up to cup my face as he gave me a slow, lingering kiss.

"Damn, babe," he murmured against my lips, his voice rough with satisfaction. "You're going to be the death of me."

I smiled, my fingers brushing through his hair as I caught my breath. "Worth it," I whispered back, a grin spreading across my face.

We eventually untangled ourselves, the sounds of laughter and conversation still drifting in from outside. I straightened my clothes, glancing around the RV that had just witnessed our passionate encounter.

Lo chuckled as he fixed his own clothing, a satisfied smirk on his face as he leaned back against the counter. "Think they noticed?" he asked, his tone light but teasing.

I shook my head, my cheeks still flushed from our exertions. "If they did, they'll probably just be jealous," I quipped, running a hand through my hair to smooth it down.

We shared a look, the heat still simmering between us but with a bit more control now. "I think we better get back out there," I suggested, trying to suppress the satisfied smile that threatened to take over my face.

Lo nodded, stepping forward to open the door, but not before planting one last kiss on my lips, slow and sweet, as if to remind me of what we'd just shared. "Ready when you are, babe," he said with a wink.

A round of applause and catcalls erupted as Lo and I stepped out of the RV, our faces flushing with a mix of satisfaction and embarrassment.

"Oh my god," I moaned, wishing I could shrink into the ground.

"Way to give it to her, King!" Greta called out; her voice full of teasing amusement.

"Is that what you meant when you told us not to show our age?" Lennox added, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

I could feel my cheeks heat up even more. I knew this group could be relentless when it came to playful teasing.

"Yeah, yeah," Lo growled, unfazed. "Last I checked, I paid for this damn RV, and I'll damn well do what I want in it."

We made our way back to the chairs we'd been sitting in before our little escapade, trying to ignore the knowing looks and smirks from everyone around the campfire.

Alice and Wrecker walked into the campsite, hand in hand, just as we settled down. Alice looked around, taking in the grinning faces.

"What's all the cheering about?" Alice asked, her curiosity piqued.

I tipped my head to the side, noticing a leaf stuck in Alice's hair. I couldn't help but smile as Raven filled her in with a laugh. "Meg and King had the camper rocking!"

Alice's eyes widened, and she looked up at Wrecker sheepishly, like a kid caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

"Where were you two?" Nikki asked, her tone innocent but her eyes full of suspicion.

"Oh, uh," Alice stammered, clearing her throat, "we just went for a walk. Enjoying nature."

The campsite went quiet, and then Greta broke the silence with a smirk. "Is that what we're calling it now?" She winked and thrust her hips forward playfully. "Nature."

Alice threw her hands up in the air, giving up. "Whatever," she muttered, her tone light but defensive.

She and Wrecker sat down in the two empty chairs next to Lo and me. Alice leaned over, giving me a knowing look. "You really had the camper rocking?" she asked, her voice a mix of disbelief and admiration.

I felt my cheeks heat again, but I nodded, unable to deny it.

With a grin, Alice held her fist out to me. I bumped mine against hers, our own little celebration of still being able to keep up with the younger ones.

"We still got it, honey," she said, her tone full of pride.

I nodded, a smile spreading across my face. "Still got it," I echoed.
