Entertainment News Report

Yesterday, legendary actor Finn Forrester and his wife, Gabriella Sinclair Forrester, welcomed their third child, the couple's first son. We're told the six-and-a-half-pound boy and his mother are both doing well. The world has been captivated by this fairy-tale romance since their showstopping engagement on the red carpet in Cannes. The couple originally met on location for Jean Mercier's film Celebration , for which Forrester won the Oscar for Best Actor.

Hollywood fans will be delighted to learn that the pair have named their son Albert Sinclair Forrester. In a brief statement released to the press, they announced, "We have named our son after our dear friend Albie Hughes, who taught us how to live and love with gusto." We reached out to the late actor's widow, Margaret Hughes, who said, "My darling Albie would be deeply touched by this loveliest of honors."

Other stars were quick to add their congratulations. Willow Barnes tweeted, "Aww . . . you have the most beautiful family ever," followed by a string of heart, smiley face, and balloon emojis. Charlotte Reed commented, "Congratulations! Love seeing your family grow. Will never forget our summer together when your romance began," and Michael Hennesey commented, "There's a bottle of bourbon and a case of smokes coming your way. Albie would have approved." On his way to a film screening, Mercier was asked what he thought about the latest baby news. The normally off-color filmmaker smiled and said, "I am very happy for my friends and their beautiful family. They make me believe that all is not lost."

It has already been a busy year for the couple. They brought their brood to England, where Sinclair was Philosophy Fellow at the University of Cambridge, and then summered in their home in France before jetting to Vancouver where Forrester shot his latest film. Sinclair's recent book, dedicated to her husband and simply titled, Love , received critical acclaim the world over and has been touted as "one of the most important contemporary philosophy texts of our time." She's now signed a publishing deal to write a series of fairy-tale books inspired by her children and espousing her philosophical views on love. We're told the couple is looking forward to spending some time at home before packing up their family to head to an undisclosed location, where Forrester is scheduled to star in his second Mercier film.
